“First time here. Very impressed! Very nice restaurant in a small strip mall. Excellent service as well as food. They have a small but varied menu. I ordered the Hanger steak and my wife had the chicken franchise. Delicious! We don't live in the area, but would love to return sometime.“

Garlic clams are off the charts delicious . Best seafood restaurant on lbi - our favorite. The restaurant is small so it can be tough to get a table but worth the wait .“

“Just moved into LBI area stopped by here for lunch. Had a lobster sandwich sandwich which was amazing and it must’ve had lobster from a whole one whole lobster. Also had their clam chowder which is award-winning and it was so good the best clam chowder I’ve ever had. Nice atmosphere. Great service as well.“

“Classic shore seafood place.Extensive menu with lots of choices. Everyone @ the table loved their entrees, including grilled and fried seafood platter, shrimp skewers and crab cakes. Oysters on the half shell were fresh and delicious! Would highly recommend! White sangria was a fave!“

We ordered a bunch of small plates and they were all delicious- the artichoke were cooked in a lovely sauce, the calamari were fried in a light, spicy sauce and the grilled shrimp had a terrific dipping sauce as well. All were a bit unusual and very tasty. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. A fun vibe and a creative spin on all the dishes. We will definitely return. Thank again!“

“If you love chowder, this should be a must stop location for you. This no frills chowder hut is some of the best in the area. Their New England chowder is honestly some of the best I've ever had. Creamy but not too rich and packed with flavor, it would be a sin to skip out on this. Get it in a bread bowl and it's plenty to share! Who could resist the crusty bread and chowder combo. And don't be deterred with its cold out, you can easily get everything to go!“

Highly recommend you try Old Causeway for dinner and drinks if you're staying at LBI because it beats most restaurants on the island and is the only thing I'll come back over the bridge for while staying at LBI.“

This fairly priced, $21 a lobster roll, spot gives you a healthy serving of lobster both claws and tails on a perfectly toasted buttery roll. They have Maine, CT and Mass choices. They created a new category called Rillaioli, a lobster roll with varying state themed offerings. Check out the Texas.The lobster Mac and cheese was creamy, and didn't skimp on the lobster portion.“

“Every year I come to LBI, I have to stop here. They have some of the freshest seafood on the island and the customer service is amazing. Every year I call ahead to see what they got and Marty is always excited to give me the rundown. This year I was specifically looking for cherry stone clams and he explained the history of clams to me so instead of cherry stones, I went with the top necks. I came in and everyone was super pleasant and Marty greeted us with a smile. Give this place a try!My family travels from PA and VA and this is one place we HAVE to go to. “Service was great at the beginning of meal. When dinner was served the waitress never came back to ask us if everything was OK. Next time we saw her again was to pick up our plates. My husband was missing a melted butter with his Surf and Lobster dinner.“

“My husband and I had dinner here for the first time in the summer of 2023 on a weeknight inside. We decided to give it a try due to the recommendation of our neighbors. I had the Lobster Grilled Cheese sandwich and Lobster Bisque Soup in a bread bowl upon recommendation of our neighbors again. Both items did not disappoint. Both items were super filling and tasty! If you order the soup in a bread bowl, be prepared to share. It becomes like an appetizer with all the soft bread in the bowl. Absolutely delicious. As for the atmosphere, we chose to sit inside. Watching the ocean and the boats at sunset gave it a perfect summerlike feel. We will be back based on our last experience this past summer.“

“Memorial Service Luncheon for my brother Jaime…Perfection!?? My family and I were greeted by a lovely staff member outside the entrance followed to the private upstairs room. WOW!! Our room was so inviting…decor simply beautiful!? Centerpieces were exactly as I instructed it to be done on all the tables…a very pretty sheer beige table runner over white linen table cloths and gold flatware with small bouquets of mixed eucalyptus leaves and votive candles along with a variety of eucalyptus, orange ?and lavender towelettes for our family and guests….a very nice touch.As for the food…farm to table ? EXCELLENT!!For starters, a spring salad with fresh peas andmint, mouth watering Crab ? cakes with fingerling potatoes and other fabulous food ending with warm chocolate pudding bread!!Oh! did I mention Justin and staff…AMAZING!!…so attentive to all. “This place sells by far, the freshest seafood I've purchased in Ocean County. Today I bought and cooked shrimp, monkfish and scallops. The shrimp tasted like shrimp(not iodine) the monkish fish was the freshest I've ever eaten even in restaurants, this monkfish truly tasted like poor man's lobster but not at lobster prices. and the diver scallops were meaty, didn't release any water when cooked. Seafood Treasures is the only place I'll buy fresh seafood at reasonable prices. This place is truly a treasure!“

“Was here last week with ten of us. We all ordered food and everything was spot on. I was surprised that the wait was minimal. My Mahi sandwich was very good. Every bar in lbi is a bit pricey but they only have a 10 week window to make money, so keep it in mind. I ll be back , hopefully soon“
