“The place is decorated really well, and it smells as good as my abuelita’s house. The lady at the front was very sweet and kind, and you can tell the team works very well together. The food is incredibly fresh and comforting. I came here at 12~, so there was no wait time for seating. The prices are fair and reasonable, especially for the amount you get- And they also have this cool little reward system for ordering at their restaurant. “I tried a quick lunch at Surf Tacos in Manasquan. Cool place, clean with a beachy vibe and interior. Service was prompt, which is always good. I ordered the $15 plate with 2 tacos, chips, beans, rice, and a drink that is a substantial meal. Opted for a Mahi and a Surf (breaded cod) taco to mix it up. They have a nice salsa bar, and I tried a little of them all. Drink offers soda or a tea dispenser.
The Cod taco was heavily breaded and not very tasty. Salsa helped. The Mahi was blackened and offered plenty of taste. I'd order it again.
Overall, I was pleased with this taco combo as a lunch option. Service and restaurant were nice, I'll visit again.“

This was even true when it was busy and the staff could have been forgiven for being a little frazzled. I'll keep coming back.“

“My husband and I went to sit down for dinner, per a recommendation from a friend. Valentina was our server and was the perfect amount of attentive. She brought over chips and salsa right away. We ordered the Oaxaca Platter and the Quesabirria to share as our meal, and both were so delicious! The Quesabirria was especially good, we highly recommend you try it (they told us after the fact that it’s their best seller). The staff was so friendly and accommodating. “If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I stopped into Qdoba Mexican Eats and was blown away by how fresh, flavorful, and downright delicious everything was. But the real standout? The guacamole — handcrafted by Rose herself. Absolute perfection. Creamy, bright, seasoned just right… honestly some of the best guac I’ve had anywhere.

The chilequiles verde con carne were a very light green that I have never seen before but they were not lacking in flavor....they were pretty good. The tamales were a bit dry however. Last time we had tacos al pastor which were delicious. The owners are very nice and friendly. A nice find. They only have 4 tables inside. They do mostly takeout...but both times we ate in and noticed alot of repeat customers and the owners greeting them. Nice customer interaction. I will go back and continue to try new things!“

Maybe it depends on who’s making them that day. Sometimes its a nice big portion fills the container and sometimes it’s just like they threw some chips in the box slapped on a couple topping and you get half of a container while someone with the same has a full box. 5/10 for that.
