“Had lunch today at Houlihans. I haven't been here in a while, so I wanted to treat myself by eating at my favorite restaurant.
And my 3 favorite servers now work in the morning: Mackenzie, Brooke & Jenna.
I had the early bird dinner special: chicken parmesan with a salad and dessert for $17.99. it's a good deal because they chicken parmesan by itself is regularly $17.99.

My server Mackenzie was great: polite, attentive, and fast. As are all of the servers here.

“we've been going to 709 for many years, and go there quite often . service is always good, but the food has been hit or miss for the past year. they closed down and reevaluated their menu and staff. the new staff is excellent, as was the old. we have decided to continue to support 709 during their transition. Saturday's dinner was just not prepared to my liking. my fillet was medium well, when i asked for medium rare. the server was excellent, and tried everything to accomodate my requests. no fault of her own. but, the chefs should pay better attention to what they are cooking. the sushi chefs also need to check the freshness of the fish they are serving. the usually "red" tuna was gray. we tried a piece each, and decided not to eat it, and it was then off our bill. 709 was "the" place to grab a great meal.... look at my other reviews. not too sure anymore.“

Group was so loud and obnoxious all the tables around them couldn’t even enjoy their meals. Management should have been well aware of it as you could easily hear the commotion on the opposite site of the restaurant.“

Price & Food + Beverage :-
I had not ordered anything so I don’t know about this. I was just there with them on last minute and I was full already.

Ambience :-
It was so amazing. The water view makes it more beautiful. Also there was live singing by the band, if you like it. And they played national song at time of sunset.

Restrooms :-
It was quite clean. Only thing is they’ve sensor light and it might turn off while you’re inside. So careful of that.

Our server was so nice with us and made sure we’re attended whenever we need to make any order. She was very helpful and nice.

Tips :-
It’s more beautiful if you go 1 hour before sunset. You can also take amazing pictures and videos there.

Parking: I was told they’ve both - free and paid parking. But we parked on paid. They charged around $2.5 per hour (don’t remember the exact amount)“

“We went to masons, pretty much right before they closed on a Saturday (1am), and Jeremiah treated us (and everyone else) like we were royalty. “I just wanted to reach out & thank your staff on duty from Friday 8/18 Especially Rod/Ron the Manager (my apologies I don't remember his name exactly) for outstanding customer service! We were at the restaurant Friday evening. It was the last night of our family Seaside Vacation and our first time dining at The Sawmill. We were seated promptly(young hostess with curly hair and an air cast), drinks & food orders were taken very quickly(female server with dark curly hair and an accent). Our beverages came out in a flash, and our appetizers were moments behind. When my teenage son reached across for some tasty pretzel bites...he knocked his full orange soda into his lap (and shirt) , onto the floor, & even onto me! We sent him to the restroom to try and clean himself up while we motioned for help, we didn't want anyone to slip on the wet floor! Within seconds your staff responded in the best possible way. Your manager was mopping up the floor, our server was bringing a replacement soda, one of the ladies bussing tables hustled over with towels. By the time my son returned from the restroom my husband and I were discussing how to proceed (Run back to the house to change or by new clothes on the boardwalk) when Rod/Ron appeared on bended knee next to my son with Sawmill t-shirts in tow asking his size so he could change his shirt. My son initially refused because; it was "all his fault & he didn't deserve it" but; Rod/Ron persisted and convinced my son that these kinds of things happen to everyone. A point I was just making to my child, when my son heard this he accepted. The way your staff responded in the moment took what could have been an awful end to our vacation into a very bright spot because of how attentive and supportive your staff was. “Came on New Years Eve. Servers were very friendly and attentive and Brianna handled our large party very well. Food was quite good for a chain restaurant and prices are reasonable, portion sizes a bit too big for me! My only critique is reaching the service staff to clear dishes between courses - with appetizers, entrees and desserts it becomes a real mess!“
