“A friend and I had brunch at Percy recently. It was delightful. The food was ample and tasty - I had their version of Shakshuka. It came hot, with delicious flavor, accompanied by crusty bread and perfectly dressed greens on the side. The service was timely, attentive and polite. And the atmosphere was relaxed and warm. “I was worried that Oceanos was gone, like so many great places, another victim of the pandemic. A place called Avenue Diner took its place, and hey, guys… it’s the same family and servers and great food!! Yay! Had dinner with my daughter there this past Friday and was so pleased! The service is every bit as terrific, homey, and individualized as I remember. The food is still amazing and the prices reasonable. My daughter had roast turkey with plenty of stuffing and gravy, which she loved. The salads were very fresh and the dressings were perfect. The rolls and herb butter were warm and fresh. I had salmon which was broiled perfectly, moist with an herb butter sauce. The vegetable was done exactly the way I requested. We took an omelet home for someone who missed the outing and he pronounced it the best restaurant omelet he ever had. Finally, I took a quart on vegetable soup home and ate it the next day. I swear it was my grandmother’s old recipe - large cuts of multiple vegetables including zucchini and carrots and cabbage and more in a perfect veggie broth. Wish I had more right now! So, give Avenue Diner a try… it is worth your time and money. It made me smile!“

Home fries were a little dry, there was a pound of butter on my toast , which i requested un-buttered.
Service was ok considering a not so busy morning time.
But, my breakfast date was lovely. I will bring her somewhere nicer next time“

“We had our semi-annual breakfast there once again. As usual, great food and service. We had Jessica and Courtney , our regular waitresses, they are great. All the guys love them. They handled 41 Sears TractorTrailer drivers - no problem. We’ll be back in six months (4/11/25). At the end some of us waited for this picture.“

“ONION RINGS are the BEST I've ever had! I really ❤️this place, but they gave me a raw turkey burger, and that just turned me OFF. I had a reservation for a party of 12. The food everyone agreed was for the most part good, but some items not so much. This place may not be a good option for large parties on Christmas Eve.

“Food was good. Service was excellent. I had avocado toast. The avocado is not fresh. It was slightly watery on my bread. I asked the waitress if the avocado was fresh. She replied it was premade that they buy. It was kind of bland. The other diners had eggs and bacon which was very good. No complaints. They also have good oatmeal.

Parking: Parking is mainly on the left side of restaurant. A few places are available in the very front of the building.“

“The Chicken Marsala was Awesome ! But the server was very forgetful 6/14/25. I had to get my own butter & clean my table. Then, I felt ignored when she waited on a table 1st, that came in after me. The place was managed better when Máni was there.“
