“Went here for brunch and was not disappointed. We ordered two dishes, the Ricotta Pancakes and the Chicken and Waffles. The Ricotta pancake, combines with the cinnamon and sugar butter, was probably the best pancake I have ever had. The Chicken and Waffles were served with honey Chipotle sauce, giving it a unique taste from similar dishes at other restaurants. You might want to make reservations here. We arrived at lunch and there was over an hour wait for a table, but we were able to get a seat at the bar.“

“My wife and I had lunch there today I had the chicken fried steak and my wife had the chicken panni and French onion soup. The food was excellent the server Hailee was very good and very professional. She was also very friendly and very cute. If you are close to there definitely stop in.“

“I was worried that Oceanos was gone, like so many great places, another victim of the pandemic. A place called Avenue Diner took its place, and hey, guys… it’s the same family and servers and great food!! Yay! Had dinner with my daughter there this past Friday and was so pleased! The service is every bit as terrific, homey, and individualized as I remember. The food is still amazing and the prices reasonable. My daughter had roast turkey with plenty of stuffing and gravy, which she loved. The salads were very fresh and the dressings were perfect. The rolls and herb butter were warm and fresh. I had salmon which was broiled perfectly, moist with an herb butter sauce. The vegetable was done exactly the way I requested. We took an omelet home for someone who missed the outing and he pronounced it the best restaurant omelet he ever had. Finally, I took a quart on vegetable soup home and ate it the next day. I swear it was my grandmother’s old recipe - large cuts of multiple vegetables including zucchini and carrots and cabbage and more in a perfect veggie broth. Wish I had more right now! So, give Avenue Diner a try… it is worth your time and money. It made me smile!“

“Quaint little hole in the wall with the most wholesome vibes and delicious meals! I decided to order the buffalo chicken club, which is very juicy and packed with flavor. Absolutely will be returning again.

“The Black horse diner outdid themselves in helping provide outstanding chicken pot pies to celebrate my dad's 90th birthday. the pot pies from the Black horse diner are one of his favorites and I wanted to serve them the party I had.... the team at the diner was so helpful and accommodating and the food was absolutely over the top outstanding. I have never seen so much chicken in a a pot pie dish. am I entire life!!! thank you to the entire staff of the Black horse diner you have a fan for life!!!“

“I used to come here with my mom and brother back in the '90s, and the food was fantastic and the service was excellent. I haven't been here in years, but I ride by there a lot and it doesn't seem the same as it used to, but because of the nostalgia, it'll always have a special place in my heart“
“Good place to pickup your beers and the prices are lower than the other two delis a few blocks away that also sell beers. Also they now accept debit card payment for like a year now which is good so you don't have to carry a lot of cash especially around that neighborhood (if you know what I mean).“

“. Every once in awhile like once a month or so my brother drives from near the airport all the way up here to go to the spot. I had no idea about this place until he had finally told me about it. And I live only a couple miles from this place. I usually do not like to go to places in and around where I live because I've had very bad experiences but this place is a Hidden Gem or a Hidden Gem to me. I went here three times and breakfast on the weekends this place is packed yet even being packed the atmosphere is so nice so calm and you can enjoy yourself. The servers are so sweet the food is not only delicious but you don't wait long at all whether it's breakfast or lunch or whatever you're ordering. I highly suggest this place and obviously so does my brother LOL next time I go I will take some pictures.“

“This was my first time eating at Ritz Diner. The place was clean, the service was super fast and friendly, and the food was fresh and delicious! Look at how fresh the toppings are on the cheesesteak. The salad bar was bery fresh and the soup was yummy. This will be my go to place to eat in north east Philly in the future. I didn't get the name of our waitress, but she did a great job.“

“Amazing hospitality on Saturday for our daughters 40th birthday. We put together last minute arrangements and Phily Diner was able to accommodate a party of 20. The food was delicious and our server (Nicole) was professional and attentive, and we all felt like VIP's upstairs. We even got to watch the football games! It was good to be home. Our daughter was surprised and appreciative. Will stop in again soon.“

“The RT130 Diner is the best around hands down. I go there all the time and the food is phenomenal. The owners are great, Filiz the owners wife is the best and always makes you feel welcome. If you have not been there I highly suggest you go there. They are open 24/7 which is even better if you work nights. Hands down best place/diner around.“

“It's been awhile since I've been here.I always get pancakes from this place and always bring friends here for lunch. They have changed the recipe and I think they're under New Management. Not a fan anymore. Need to work on hospitality and better service for handicapped patrons that travel alone. Please try to open the door for them to exit and enter. I was on crutches and received no help.“

“Ordered a quart of chicken orzo soup just before closing.When I picked up the order the owner jested that he has something else for me.They gave a second quart of chicken orzo soup and an additional quart of manhattan clam chowder all for the price of one quart of chicken orzo.Thank You very much!“
