The staff and owners were amazingly kind, patient, knowledgeable and understanding about food allergies. They went above and beyond to make our lunch a success. On top of that, the food was excellent and prices unbelievably reasonable. Five stars plus!!!“

“I wanted to share how great this spot is. My son attended Stacy’s Surf Camp and they delivered food daily to the kids. My son will not eat a burger at home but he said they were great here and ate one. Haha. I need the secret. I had to cancel a preorder due to weather and they did not hassle me and allowed me to cancel. I really appreciated that. We also went there for dessert this week and it was fast and great. “For Valentine's Day weekend, my wife and I dined at the historical and exquisite Knife & Fork Inn on Friday, 2.13.26, since the 14th was totally booked. It was her first time there and mine since childhood. The menu was so extensive that it made it a bit of a welcoming challenge to focus on a particular choice. For starters, our huge portion of the Corn & Crab Chowder was the best that we have ever had and the Artisanal Cheese Plate was delectably wide-ranging. My wife loved the Halibut and my Bone-In Pork Chop was superb. Our cordial and diligent waiter, Carmen, who took service to the next level, suggested the Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert and we were very glad that he did as it was perfectly sized to share! Before we arrived, I mentioned to my wife that this would be a top dining experience and it was more than that with the historical ambiance, service and the spectacular menu options. We will definitely be back to try some more of their varied cuisine!“

“Everything was great. We got appetizers at 4pm and could not order certain meals until 4:30(weird) About 4:30 until we couldn't take it any more, we took the balance of our early dinners with us. At 4:30 we noticed the restaurant started filling with flied. First near the floor on my leg then on the back of our seats & table & all around our food. The restaurant was clean to your eye but being in the food service business, Since they were serving food outside using the back door, the flies were swarming in I would suggest bug zappers inside & outside of the exit where they are delivering food. And every so often do a deep cleaning of their furniture and floors, esp under the tables making sure to keep changing the water. Maintence rarely change mopping water from dining area, cooking area & bathroom. And Staff clean tables & booths with the same rags all evening. So like I recommend really deep clean furniture walls & floors & it will help cut down on sticky floors & flies. The food was the best I've had in OC but dealing with the flies was unreal.“

“We love coming here but even with reservations we always wait about 15 mins to be seated. That's fine but there is no place to wait comfortably. Maybe consider taking out one table to make room for a sitting area? At least in the summer. As always, the food is outstanding. The servers are warm and efficient. Noise level is high.“

“I have eaten here twice. Once was in the fall, and now today, right before Christmas. The ambiance is the most charming! I loved it as soon as I walked in. Some places that are adorned aren’t kept very tidy. Jon & Patty’s is VERY clean! Never do you worry about dust or debris. The coffee and apple cider are AMAZING! You will miss out if you don’t treat yourself to one of them. I personally suggest the cider. I normally NEVER get cider anywhere… but this cider is next level! The food is fantastic… definitely try the nutty chicken salad and the sweet potato fries. Jon and Patty’s is sure to please!“

“I recommend all of their beers! I am not an IPA fan, but they have one or two of the IPAs I like, and my son, who is an IPA person, loves the ones I have brought home. Every one of their beers I have tried was great! I have only been there twice, so far, but will be back again, as soon as I can. Both times I have been there, I have been treated like I was a friend, and the Beer tenders were fantastic. I sure wish I lived closer!!! “We went over LDW 2025, totally unplanned, and it was only our 2nd time there. We sat at the little bar on the small porch. My husband and I had the absolute best time! What started out as having a couple of drinks ended with many more and a great, upbeat afternoon! Katie was bartending and she was OUTSTANDING! That young lady was ebb and flowing and never skipped a beat and she never stopped being busy while we were there. Drinks were flowing, music was so fun, Katie handled it all like an absolute gem and the food was totally outstanding - absolutely recommend the jerk chicken wings! “My wife, dog, and I stopped in on Friday evening. While we were at another brewery we heard that Garden State was dog friendly as well (inside and out), it was in the direction that we were heading so we wanted to stop in. Surprisingly it was trivia night so it was very full, but we found a seat and enjoyed some great beer. Unfortunately they don’t offer flights during trivia night but the two ladies behind the bar were very nice and offered “samples” when I couldn’t decide on a half pour. Their pickle beer was very good and unique, the peach habanero was excellent! Nothing that we had we wouldn’t have again, we would definitely stop in next time when we are in the area!“

“Came by here two days in a row and the food was exceptional each time. Had the bacon cheeseburger and wife had the beer battered fish and chips. She loved it and my burger was cooked perfectly. Kaitlyn was our server and was very attentive and oh so nice. She answered questions we had and was very efficient. “What time are yall open? The posted time says 3pm. But then I go there and it's closed. It's just last time I was here i liked what I got. Loved the mangonada and the thing that's crunch and has like sauce and avocado on it? Anyway I've been looking forward to going there with me and my mates. “I went on a weekend trip to the shore and needed to go to Walmart to grab a few things. I decided to get some sushi from the nearest location and was met with one of the best experiences I’ve had at a sushi restaurant.

The service itself was quick, taking only 5~ minutes to complete my entire order. The food was fresh, generously portioned, and it only cost us $20 for two rolls, an appetizer, salad and soup. The meal ended up being so good that I drove 25 minutes that same day to taste it again. All the employees had a big smile on their faces when we walked back in, and I left with a 10% coupon if we decided to go again.

“I was here for AC triathlon this past weekend and the Chelsea Inn was in a prime location with the character I like places to have.

The reception and staff were very friendly and accommodating! They made sure to have coffee available for the early wake-up time for the event and to even provide a little more time to check out (very appreciated). I was able to utilize the toaster early in the morning for the breakfast I brought which was very convenient.

The room was very nice and spacious. The beds & pillows were super comfortable, my mom and I both loved them. When I come back next year, I will definitely be staying at the Chelsea!“
