“We order subs form here at least twice a month. Subs are always pretty good BUT today I ordered a meatball sub.. All I can say is it was the nastiest meatball sub I ever ate! I’m sure the meatball sub from WaWa is much better. The sub contained a crap load of sauce and mushed meat not even meatballs. The meat tasted like the cheap meat from a can. Every time I think of it I want to vomit 🤮!!!! I normally place online orders but today I went in. They don’t even put paper down while making your sandwich they place the bread on the counter and slide it from one side to the other. I didn’t complain since it looked clean BUT I will Not be ordering from there again. What a waste of $15. I tried giving the rest to my dog but he didn’t even eat it. He put it in his mouth then spit it back out. If a dog won’t eat what does that tell you???! I would really like a refund but reality I know I ain’t going to get one. So I will WARN all those who like meatball subs DO NOT go to Jersey Mikes in Matawan. They truly suck. I can’t get the nasty meat flavor out of my mouth. Smh I hope the cheese steak I picked up for my husband is good......“

“We had an amazing experience at Jersey Mike’s thanks to Juan! He greeted us with a big smile and made us feel welcome right away. He was incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure our order was perfect from start to finish. He even took the time to suggest some great menu options that we absolutely loved. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about the customer experience, and he truly went above and beyond. “Gave a 5 for the atmosphere although I haven’t been there. I imagine it’s top notch based off of the customer service experience I had with a young gentleman on the phone today. I made an Uber Eats order and called to make an adjustment to my sandwiches. The young man on the phone was professional and did not hesitate to make sure that my accommodations would be granted. I wish I caught his name but the call took place at approximately 3:36PM on 1OCT25. He was exactly what I expect when calling an eatery. Prompt, direct, and accommodating. No questions asked, no back and forth. As someone who works in the industry it was greatly appreciated.“

“This one was by far one that was much better than all the others... I really didn't even want to go there because usually their subs are soggy wet and not worth your buck. But this one the sub was dry they really took care to make sure enough meat was in it and it was delicious, I'm really impressed.“

“I went to Just Subs to place an order for a gathering involving a large number of people. I had reviewed the menu and had come up with a figure of $300.00, which by my calculations would provide enough subs, salads and sides for all involved. Probably with some left over. Joe the owner and his employee Desire questioned me about the number of people I wished to serve, and at that point told me that I was ordering too much food! Upon Joe's advice, I ordered a menu which came to a final total of $215.00! Everything was delicious, and there was some left over, just as Joe supposed there would be. It was a nice, professional gesture on his part, and a good way to treat a customer.“

“Tucked in a corner of Walmart, the space is adequate for a good 20 min meal. Friendly staff. Usually has veggie patties and vegetarian options.
Every time I visit this store, I feel sure about the options I can get.

“Had delivered Breakfast panini and butternut squash soup. Both were hot and delicious and I ordered from them by accident. Still came to me hot. The breakfast panini is giving breakfast sandwiches run for its money. The soup was really nice too. Good consistency and taste“

“I enjoyed the service at this location very professional and very quick. The subs are better than subway that is certain. Only problem I had they need to put some meat on it almost a make a wish sandwich. But the next trip I got a chicken cheese steak that definitely redeemed them. I liked the cream soda I give that and the root beer 5 stars.“

“08/14/25 @ 6:45pm. Anthony, the shift leader, was very helpful and took care of us with a smile. He was quick and knew what he was doing. He spoke to my child and not to us when asking what she wanted. I respect that. The food was done perfectly and quickly. Will definitely be coming back.“
