“I enjoyed my meal, you know, classic olive garden experience, and it would've been 5 stars, but there were nats flying all over, at least 3-4 nats flew around during my meal. I'll come back but I hope they deal with this before it gets worse.“

“I have always loved it here however, like many other restaurants, every single aspect of dining here has gone way, way down in just about every category since COVID. A real shame. Food is now mediocre, service is rushed after the 20 minute wait to get a server to come to your table for the 1st time. So unfortunate. This place used to be THEE BEST SUSHI around.“

“First time stopping in for takeout and I left with a lot of respect for this place.
When I walked in it was clear the entire operation was being run by one person. The owner was cooking, handling orders, answering the phone, and managing the counter all at the same time. Her young son was sitting up front doing homework. Every time the doorbell rang, a friendly voice from the kitchen welcomed people in even before she could step out.
There were several customers waiting while I was there and she kept everything moving with calm and professionalism. It was a reminder that behind many small restaurants there is a family simply trying to make it work.
The food was exactly what good Chinese takeout should be. Fresh, hot, and consistent. Sadly that bar is not always met these days, but it was here.
It also made me think about how different every small business is and how hard many of them work just to stay open. When you walk into a place like this, remember it may be a takeout counter to you, but it is also someone’s livelihood and, in this case, part living room and homework station too.
Kudos to the mom who is simultaneously the owner, chef, cashier, and entrepreneur. Keep it up, and maybe let your customers know your name so we can yell hello back to the voice from the kitchen.“

“My first time and I’ll definitely be back. I had the Connecticut roll and it was very good. Comparable in size and amount of meat to Quincy’s but a little cheaper. I was greeted warmly and offered a frequent buyer card.“

“My family and I have been coming to Crabby’s every time we’re in Jersey for the last 8 years… it’s the one non-negotiable about each trip. This past Sunday we went for our family dinner and while the staff was very kind, the food was a miss. Our waitress and the manager were great. However, there’s been a major change in the quality of the food since the last time we were there but the prices of course have went up like everywhere else. We were disappointed.“
