“We just had the best breakfast here - amazing food, even better service. A true hole in the wall spot (because it’s tiny but so cute, lots of character!). “I live in South Philly and didn't even know this place existed. A friend told me about it and said it was good so I ordered from GrubHub and mannnn it did NOT disappoint! So much goodness in flavor and portion size. I tried the beef todero and tequeños and both were 10/10. I can't wait to try their arepas! My grandfather immigrated to Venezuela before coming to the US and used to make us some and haven't had any since. Looking forward to trying more.“

“We enjoyed a great evening with my folks and the SN’L jazz duo. I ordered the standard flight and the Rte 23 hand pie with salad. Everything—music and cider and food—was inventive. Normally in a cider flight I’ll only really love 1/4; but all of these were unique and drinkable. Had fun talking with the knowledgeable staff. Traditional cider was just the right amount of dry; the ginger the driest with subtle ginger notes. I chose the blood orange as my seasonal and it was my favorite! The hand pie was delicious with a savory beef and mushroom filling and flaky crust, and the salad was also great, not your usual side salad, with homemade dressing. Service was friendly and awesome. Check them out when you get the chance—wonderful spot with a neighborhood feel!“

“What a charming little restaurant! I sat at the bar on a work trip for an early dinner, which they actually have a menu for! Prices are reasonable for the city, and 4-6 is happy hour so I came at the right time for great prices and drinks and appetizers. Would definitely recommend! Plus this is walking distance to many nice hotels downtown. Only 5 min walk from the Kimpton Palomar! Would recommend calling ahead to ensure availability.“

St upstairs for the first time, very cute area but need more than 1 server up there. Poor guy was running ragged handling all the tables, we had to wait awhile to put in order and never got offered refills since he was always too busy running food and taking orders.“

“Cozy, welcome little neighborhood eatery in South Philly. Our party of 5 had both lunch and breakfasts. All were big hits! Pictures below was one of the specials-short rib grilled cheese. I recently discovered Good Karma Cafe and I'm hooked! This charming spot exceeded my expectations with its warm atmosphere, top-notch service, and delicious food.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, happily answering our questions about the menu. We indulged in their mouthwatering chicken sandwiches on sourdough bread, paired with refreshing lemonade and iced tea. The cozy back dining room, adorned with vibrant art and lush greenery, made for a pleasant dining experience.

Their breakfast and brunch menu boasts an array of tempting options, making me eager to return. Standouts include the Colonel Mustard sandwich and almond croissant.

Good Karma Cafe excels in:

- Excellent selection of hot and cold beverages
- Tasty sandwiches and pastries

“This place is great! The staff are genuinely really nice and the food and coffee is awesome. This is my new favorite coffee place in the city after trying quite a few! The prices are good, sizes are generous, and they have a lot of fun specialty drinks that I’m excited to go back and try. I got the iced honey lavender latte and it was delicious ( they also offer dairy alternative milks so that’s a plus).“

“I have celiac disease and was at a medical conference in the conference center above Reading Market. Having celiac disease makes dining out that conference is an adventure. The staff were very helpful courteous. The food came quickly and was hot. I would recommend trying a corn dog as well as the poutine.“

Cornbread French toast was particularly sublime! The French press Kona coffee was a great start to the day. My one small complaint was the cleanliness of the dishes. My coffee mug had a visible red lipstick stain, my water glass had food particles on it and one of my plates was dirty. Just a small critique there. The space is nice open and not stuffy. And I noticed a good amount of foot traffic overall!“

The Paneer Lababdar was flavorful and rich, perfectly complemented by the Goat Cheese Naan, which was absolutely delicious. The warm, inviting atmosphere was enhanced by Harman, the owner, who was not only delightful but also incredibly welcoming. As someone who works nearby at Voorhees Pediatric Dentistry, I’m thrilled to have found such a fantastic spot. “This is mainly a review of their catering but the bar/restaurant is also a great place to visit!! We hired 2637brew for our holiday work party this year and I am so impressed with the entire experience. Everything was so easy, so enjoyable and of course so delicious!!! After submitting my inquiry for catering on their website, Mino called me right away to discuss our options and created a custom menu based on our budget, expectations, and dietary needs (vegetarian options). This was a rather late inquiry in my opinion (only 2 weeks before the event!!) and Mino assured me that everything would be just fine - and it totally was! We had two staff from 2636brew at the party to assist. They brought spring rolls, spanakopita, salad, meatballs and rolls, coleslaw, blackened chicken and alfredo pasta, and so many veggie options! Everything was outstanding! So many people were raving about how good the food was. And they brought a perfect amount of food. She even took care of our bartenders which was so nice!! Our venue did not have staff to work the party, so I had asked Mino to stay at the party to help maintain a clean space and they really helped to keep on top of the mess everyone was making! It was a HUGE help because I was able to enjoy myself and not worry about the clean up during the party. There was not much clean up at all by the end of the night. Their service was incredibly friendly and welcoming! Meeting Mino actually felt like she was a long time friend. I'm SO GLAD that we decided to work with 2637brew for this party.. they made the party planning so much less stressful and made me look like a star for pulling off something so wonderful! A HUGE thanks to them! As a side note - I also live in the area and went here for brunch the other day and was just as equally impressed with their location. The food was awesome! I ordered the Rancheros (I think that was the name on the menu) it was a bacon wrapped avocado with egg baked in it and some beans and salsa on the side. SO good and so pretty! My friend ordered Lobster Benedict and we also shared a plate of Bananas Foster french toast and ....you guys....!!! The caramelized banana slices and the crispy warm bread with melty vanilla ice cream ughhhh it was so amazing!!! Brunch is definitely recommended here! And service is great, I never had an empty mimosa glass :) Try this place out - you're going to LOVE it! I'm lucky to live so close and can't wait to visit more regularly!“
