“I was in Philli on work travel and came across El Sabor. The owner and his son were very welcoming and even gave us an appetizer while we waited for our food. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for some great puerto rican food.“

“We were pleasantly surprised after trying this spot for brunch. I loved the rice that came with the beef. I had the mofongo. It was flavorful and filling! The best part was the drinks. I loved the mango drink. It was the perfect balance of sweetness. Service was a tad slow and it took awhile for our drinks to come out (they came out after our food). However, they were doing a ton of takeout and there was only one server. Overall, this was a great value and I can't wait to return!“

“Well worth the hype! We were so excited when we heard Amy's was coming to our neighborhood and her and her friendly team did not disappoint. We tried four pastelillos and got a side of the pickled yuca and everything was excellent. Standouts were the bbq pork guava and soy chorizo. The shop itself is small but super cute, with small products for purchase, which we hope to look at closer when it's less busy.Very excited to come here very, very often!“

“Food is soooooo good! Love the arroz con gandules and arroz con camarones in the cute oyas. Steak is tender. Ceviche is so fresh and yummy! Ropa vieja sooo good!!! Reasonable prices. Always something happening and they do a lot for and in the community. Happy hour 3-6pm, Taco Tuesdays 2 for $5, Thursdays karaoke, Free salsa lessons on Tuesdays at 8pm, comedy shows and live music on various weekends and they go ALL OUT for holidays w decor...big celebration coming up for Cinco de Mayo. An oasis in the community! Big space & 10 mins from Center City. Took friends there for my birthday and they ALLLLL loved it and some even ordered food to take home. They host events, fundraisers, birthdays. Many community leaders frequent the restaurant and host their events here. Plenty of free parking. Welcoming & fun atmosphere w professional & courteous staff. Stylish decor where can have privacy in a booth, a large table of friends, or sit around the bar which is always packed. They also have hookah.Highly recommend! And kid-friendly!“

“We dined in on a Friday night and it was decently busy. We were given complimentary chicken noodle soup. Flavorful soup with a lot of pieces of chicken in it. For those who do not eat authentic foods from other countries, be warned that there are chicken bones in the soup. We ordered chorizo, beef, and beef cheesesteak empanadas. The empanadas are bigger in size than what I'm used to buying. The chorizo empanada was the best- flavor blast. The beef one was too salty. The cheesesteak one didn't have as much flavor. We all loved the Oxtail / Rabo - Yellow Rice with Pigeon Peas. The oxtail was tender. The stew was packed full of flavor. My Vietnamese friend said it reminded him of Bò Kho (Viet beef stew). We enjoyed the pernil with chicharrón mofongo. The pork had a Smokey flavor to it, but it was a bit drip. We drizzled the oxtail soup on top which made it delicious. This all came out to be $51 with tip included. We bought chicharrón to go. 0.72lb was about $7. It was super crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.“

“I've been getting food here for about 10 yrs +, and always get the stewed chicken & rice or stewed steak & rice.... always so delicious. I tried a couple of other things, but can't remember the name...but was delicious. Their fruity drinks are great too. I haven't been in a few months, so I'm grabbing some today.“

“El nuestro sitio favorito para comer. Comemos delicioso y accesible. Nos queda lejitos por eso no venimos tan seguido como quisiéramos. La mesera es super atenta con nosotros y con nuestros niños. Una vez mi hijo se puso inquieto y ella lo entretuvo mientras comíamos. Y como unos padres que no tienen siempre la oportunidad de comer caliente, se lo agradecemos. Todo el equipo es excelente y agradecemos siempre sus atenciones. Mega recomendado.“
