“I wish I knew this place sooner! The owner was so inviting and amazing . I ordered 2 items, I came into the store not only was she nice, but she also made FRESH chive dumplings for me to eat while I was watiting for my food. Not only that she got me a free dessert to try and a free thai tea for my wife to try as well. NOT giving five stars because of the free food etc. But the food and drinks were actually AMAZING. I'm a vietnamese/ malaysian and Thai food reminds me of home. It's hard to find good thai food here in new jersey. Now that I've tried this place out I will be back for more! The location can be easily missed, if not paying atttention but please you guys gotta give it a try TRUST!“

“House of Thai is a hidden gem in Mayfair! The owners are wonderful people that treat you like you’re family! The atmosphere is calm & relaxing & intimate! I’ve been going here for years & they never disappoint. They’re consistent in the flavorful, freshness of their food! “Great authentic Thai cuisine“

“My wife and I just had the best Thai food we've had in a long time.

Started with two appetizers. The Thai Crepe was a thin thai crepe, lightly crisp rice flour with incredibly seasoned veggies and tofu with a condiment of pickled diced radish and carrot. The flavors and textures were perfect together. The veggie dumplings looked like little flowers. The dough was thin and light, seasoned perfectly.

That's a running theme here--perfect aromatic seasoning.

Entrees were equally delicious. Massaman curry with shrimp. Veggies saturated in the sauce with a generous portion of shrimp. It had just a hint of hot to blend exactly right with the sweetness. So good. Veggie tofu pad Thai was great. Noodles had the perfect bite and, once again, seasoned beautifully.

We also got a pot of green tea which complemented the meal perfectly. Joe, our server, was super attentive and friendly and kept our pot filled. His wife was doing the cooking--and what a great cook she is!

Got dessert to go: mango sticky rice. Joe said we'd love it because the mango was so sweet. He was right! And the rice had the perfect bite.

“We had such a nice dinner at Jasmine Rice! It's very homey and great for an intimate dinner. We were in a bit of a rush before heading to the theatre and they accommodated us quickly and our food was DELISH! I live in NYC and have Thai all the time and seriously their Pad See Ew was some of the best I've had. Highly recommend!“

But for the love of god do NOT get the DUCK TACOS. Most disgusting thing I’ve ever ordered from a restaurant…. They’re basically small tortillas that are soggy and slimy from the hot, wet lettuce they’re filled with. “So glad someone recommended this place to my wife and I! It's in a strip mall but the inside is well-decorated and very clean. The menu is interesting, with both spicy and non-spicy options. We had one of the evening's specials, shrimp dumplings, as well as the Salmon Prik and the Drunken Noodles. All three were excellent. Also ordered the appetizer sampler - good but not up to the high standard of the other dishes. Ended the meal with fried bananas and vanilla ice cream. Every dish was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. We brought our own wine (love BYOB's) and ended the meal well below $100. Go support this place!“
