“Went to Japan in March and have missed the food since coming back home. Scarlet Bowls was a great find to enjoy some of the same foods we indulged in our trip. The owner is from Tokyo so it’s as authentic as you can get. We ordered the Udon, Curry Katsu, Takoyaki and Musubi. All were delicious and brought back memories of the trip. Will definitely return!“

“I ordered takeout today and it was fabulous! For some reason I thought that the menu was just dumplings and never looked further but it is so much more! The quality and completeness of my order was refreshing. I got the Bao Entree Deluxe (with no green peppers), the Pepper Steak for my green pepper loving friend, and the Bao Sampler platter (came with 2 dipping sauces). I also got 10% off the next order :). I also did not feel hungry 2 hours later which seems to always happen to me with chinese food and I don't get it often. “I have ordered the chicken tikka empanadas and other types of empanadas from the Bites and Bowls food truck at least twenty times over the past years, and I can genuinely say they are top quality every time. Other empanadas from food trucks in the area are cold in the middle or lack filling. Bites and Bowls is fairly priced, their empanadas are fresh and hot all the way through, and they are generously sized and filled. The gentleman running the truck is always courteous and serves orders with a smile.

I wish the food truck went to more locations. It is worth standing in line for these empanadas. Simply superb, 10/10.“

About the food, it's great!?
The Cold Chicken? is generous in amount. The chicken meat is tender and the source is great. I would suggest to have it with soy sauce, otherwise the taste is a little bit blend.

The Hot & Spicy sliced Lamb, the portion is large! ?The taste of the meat is fresh, but not sure why it tastes like beef instead of lamb for me. The flavour is perfect and the usage of onion and celery is great.

About the Dry Noodles With Soy Sause, it's good in flavour and the noodle is chewy, but the prices is a little bit high and not worthy a $15 buck. I guess $10 might be a more reasonable price.

About the environement, it's normally ok, but the light is a little bit uncomfortable, which is too dark for me. Apparently the light color could be lighter and warmer, which can get rid of the depressed feeling that's giving to the people.

It's a great dining experience, the quality of the food shows this bistro is still one of the best Chinese Food restaurant in the regions.

I would argue the price is a little bit high, but overal I would recommend to other people.“

Next we got the shrimp and vegetables tempura that had 5 large delicious shrimp and pieces of sweet potato, broccoli, and onion. Crispy and tasty. We also tired the teriyaki chicken and the teriyaki salmon, both with salad, soup, and veggies. The salad come with a citrus ginger dressing (really good). The portions of chicken and salmon were just right and the flavor was one of the better teriyaki we have had in a long time. Overall, 5 out of 5. This may have been out first time, but it will not be the last! Eat here... you can thank me later.“
