“Went to Japan in March and have missed the food since coming back home. Scarlet Bowls was a great find to enjoy some of the same foods we indulged in our trip. The owner is from Tokyo so it’s as authentic as you can get. We ordered the Udon, Curry Katsu, Takoyaki and Musubi. All were delicious and brought back memories of the trip. Will definitely return!“

“I have ordered the chicken tikka empanadas and other types of empanadas from the Bites and Bowls food truck at least twenty times over the past years, and I can genuinely say they are top quality every time. Other empanadas from food trucks in the area are cold in the middle or lack filling. Bites and Bowls is fairly priced, their empanadas are fresh and hot all the way through, and they are generously sized and filled. The gentleman running the truck is always courteous and serves orders with a smile.

I wish the food truck went to more locations. It is worth standing in line for these empanadas. Simply superb, 10/10.“

The sushi was super fresh and they had lots of menu items that were very unique like the dinosaur egg(fried lobster with layers of avocado on top). The dumplings were outstanding. “Tried eating here for the first time. If you love good Japanese food...you MUST eat here. Out to go order included tempura green bean appetizer that was perfection on a plate. Next we got the shrimp and vegetables tempura that had 5 large delicious shrimp and pieces of sweet potato, broccoli, and onion. Crispy and tasty. We also tired the teriyaki chicken and the teriyaki salmon, both with salad, soup, and veggies. The salad come with a citrus ginger dressing (really good). The portions of chicken and salmon were just right and the flavor was one of the better teriyaki we have had in a long time. Overall, 5 out of 5. This may have been out first time, but it will not be the last! Eat here... you can thank me later.“

“Some of these poor eating comments are ridiculous. I’ve eaten Chinese food all over Jersey and this place tops them all. I don’t care about the atmosphere or customer service! The food at this restaurant is the best. Best Chinese food restaurant I’ve eaten at. I moved out of the area and I can’t find a Chinese restaurant that’s as good as this one. When I’m in the mood for Chinese I just take a 30 minute ride and it’s worth it!!“

“My favorite place to order from. Chicken and Broccoli for the win!! They are so friendly and the food is very delicious and always steaming hot fresh off the stove! I also love that this place is family owned. The owners children are always so polite when speaking to customers, their manners are outstanding! The owners are amazing people as well. They are very personable and never forget to ask about my 4 yr old son when I’m picking up my takeout. They definitely stand out from the rest of any ordinary Chinese food restaurant. Keep up the amazing work.

Vegetarian options: Can get all options without meat. Sauces are very tasty no meat needed with entrees

“I had the most incredible dining experience at Sakura last night! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere greeted me. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed throughout the meal. The sushi selection was out of this world - fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I especially loved the dragon roll; it was a perfect combination of textures and tastes. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes. Sakura is definitely my new favorite restaurant!“

“The food is 4 stars as a hotel restaurant. Food was just ok ... some good, some mediocre. I was staying next door at the Residence Inn so this was really the only place that was within a short/medium walk. I went a second time without hesitation. The third night i didnt really want to, but wanted to drive even less. App portions were huge. Calamari was ok. Bbq chicken wings were great, sweet chili wings were not good. Quesadilla was really good (super greasy from all the cheese) Chicken sandwich was really good. Chicken Caesar was good but a bit too much dressing. Creme brule was very disappointing. Had low expectations for a hotel resto ... it beat them, but only by a little.“
