“I went yesterday and I’ll never order the steak there again but I’ll definitely recommend it to anyone. I have heart failure and I got sick on the steak. So it’s my fault not theirs. I really enjoyed the steak, sweet bananas and salad. The portions were average, it filled me up. I’m glad I didn’t order the larger bowls, I’d be overstuffed. My friend did though. I usually don’t like well done steak but this one was very well prepared. My husband and my friends also enjoyed the food. 4 of us went. The lady behind the counter was wonderful and very helpful. The place was crazy crowded but civil. The atmosphere was great. I loved the artificial palm tree. Definitely going again but going for lower sodium options like chicken next time. 100% recommend.“

“If I’m hosting at my house or attending an event elsewhere where I need to bring a dish. I will order a tray of chicken from here. It’s very good fried chicken and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend giving them a try. This is not a sit down place. Take out only. I cannot comment on any of their meals. I only order their chicken for events, but they do offer a full menu. Street parking only.“

“Basic takeout experience. I wish they had better vegetable options; my kids and I hate coleslaw, so we have to make a veggie side in order to have a well rounded meal.

There's no seating inside, which is fine because we were bringing it to family, but I wish they had a drive-thru window so I wouldn't have to unbuckle my kids every time I pick up food there.“

“I went here to try a fresh poultry and it was what I expected and liked that I had my choice of country hen. The service was good and I didn't have to wait long before receiving my hen they even give you the gizzardsand feet. It costs a little higher than I expected. But for fresh poultry it's worth it. My only realy complaint is parking is terrible. The chickens aren't jammed together and have some space to roam which is good. I will go again.“

“Amazing food with friendly customer service. They treat you like a family and understand customer needs. I wanted my mix platter with broccoli and zucchini which is not in their menu, they were able to provide that for me. My son love their buffalo wings dip in sauce and hot wings. “I have been going to KFCs since they started and they have been around for at least 20 years +. And I love the menus. The chicken is outstanding and I love the biskits and the chocolate chip cookies. Prices are reasonable to. I’m disabled now so I’m going to have to get someone to go and use the drive in to pick up my food. I live right down the street at the Senior Tower West building at Plainfield Avenue and W. 7th Street. We are right here at the corner. It’s so easy to get there. It’s the best spot for that KFC cause it’s right on the corner and it’s right in a busy section in that area.“

“Last time I had KFC in the states was 6 years ago, however it was over fried and literally trash. The chicken at the Plainfield KFC was perfect, the restaurant is remodeled and clean. I hope they keep up with the high quality; not like other KFC’s nowadays.“

“i usually order jezifs through doordash since i got a deal on dashpass and they're on there. every single time ive ordered from here, the food has been incredibly well made and packed, and my current order was very carefully thought for. i had ordered a red velvet cake, oreo cheesecake, and chocolate cake. since they didn't have chocolate, they compensated by sending a tres leches and their apple cake as well, which was so lovely to see. overall amazing place to get food from, all my love to the staff!“

This is four times now that I’ve had to deal with this establishment and this particular manager, Jose. Every single time I call In and have a request or a question. He’s always there to answer it. He’s always accommodating and does his absolute best to make sure he’s taken care of his customers. Never once have I had to deal with Jose where he had an attitude or wasn’t pleasant. Every single time I’ve dealt with him he is thorough and ensures the order is complete and correct. This is what constantly keeps me coming back to this particular location. I’ve also seen him interact with other customers and he’s always pleasant and kind. I’ve also expressed this with other family members who say other locations aren’t as great and they agree that this particular location is the way it is because of this particular manager. I truly believe that to be true as it starts at the top. Bravo KFC for hiring such a gem.“

“I remember when it first opened, this was had crazy long lines for even a year afterward. Crazy enough for police presence there to monitor the crowds.

On one of my filipino husband's birthdays, I decided to surprise him with the food of his people. I ordered ahead of time via door dash to order ahead of time with a 530pm pick up time... but the food was prepared an hour early (kinda annoyed that it could have been warmer), so it was more than ready when I arrived.

Their sweet spaghetti is what you'd expect for fast food as well as their loco moco style burger patties... but their chicken (joy) is actually pretty good, even for next day leftovers after a quick toasting. So yes, don't hesitate to go big for the giant family pack. cluck cluck nom nom.

Also don't forget their peach mango pies! Even crispier after a quick air fryer reheat. Husband was happy =)“
