“Amazing food and service! We ordered the beef nachos to share and I got the taco with steak and boy do they bless it with the portions! I was visiting and a friend brought me here so definitely would want to come back next time I’m around!“
“I've gone 2 times within the past 2 weeks and I'm hooked. You might not expect it walking in, but it's the perfect little gem for Hackensack. The taco tuesday specials are great but the delicious tacos make it more worth it. The margaritas are yummy too“
“I’ve been to different locations of la fortaleza but this one is by far the best. Incredibly great service and the food was so good. Karen made our experience incredible and gave us amazing service. My wife had the chilaquiles and I had chiles rellenos I loved it.“
“The exquisite food with a flavor of Mexico, the excellent service Valeria and Irma are always friendly and attentive to their customers, they are two of the best, from the Passaic Fortress 204 Hope Ave we are in the county of Ocean County and we travel more than once time to enjoy the best authentic Mexican food, and the excellent service of Valeria and Irma and thanks to the entire team that makes up the fortress of hope ????????????????“
“I recently hosted my bridal shower here and it was the best experience I could have asked for. From start to finish, Victoria was patient and accessible for any questions. The atmosphere was great and the food was even better! I did not have to worry about dietary restrictions for my guests (vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free) as they had them all covered! I would definitely recommend Uno Mas for your next event, as my experience was seamless.“
“Wow!! So we had a group of 8 and was pouring rain so looking for a takeout place. Found Tacos Polos because it was only 5 minutes away. We ordered tons of food for pickup. The price was great and the quality and amount for the price was unbelievable. We ordered a 30 tacos combo ?they were amazing. Everything was so good. We are so happy we found an amazing takeout place nearby.“
“It was my first time visiting here. It was an amazing experience!.? You must try the frozen margaritas. ?The customer service was outstanding.????? While at the bar "Alexa" was very attentive to all out needs and making sure we had the best experience ever! I would definitely come back soon! I'm gonna recommend this place to my family and friends!??“
“We recently had the pleasure of dining here today. This restaurant brings out the food of its people with great prices. The tacos are made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the flavors are truly authentic. We tried the fried pork, beef birria and chicken birria tacos and churros they were excellent. The tortillas are made fresh daily. The staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, we had a wonderful meal. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves authentic Mexican food.“
“Great atmosphere and amazing service! Whenever I'm in town (I'm from Orlando) I make a special trip hear.Kid-friendliness: Eating dinner with my co-worker two kids, probably Jr. High age, mosied in for supper were well-behaved, and the hostess/server checked in on them periodically.“
“We absolutely love coming here! The service is friendly, the food is delicious, the drinks are yummy. A big shout out to Lily! What a beautiful soul and a superior attitude! Thank you for the best food and drinks! Salute!Parking: Lots of spots to park.Kid-friendliness: The kids love the colorful atmosphere“
“Tl:Dr was tasty but had terrible gas afterward, do not recommend for those with delicate systems!Recommend: tongue tacos, burritos, birria tacosI LOVE tongue tacos. They were a little bland by themselves but we're perfection with some salsa. The pico de gallo is quite spicy which was unexpected but not unwelcome for us.Birria tacos were nice but too cheesy for me (although for cheese lovers it may be perfect). The portion sizes on the burritos are pretty hefty.“
“This is the best Mexican food I've had in Jersey!! It's family owned and the family is incredibly friendly. The food is authentic, it tastes like it was served straight out of abuela's kitchen. The homemade sauces and dishes are delicious and unique in taste. They serve birria tacos occasionally which are to die for !!! The place is cozy and bright. They deliver, prices are reasonable and the food tastes great even reheated. I love this spot!!!“
“While out picking up wedding cake samples nearby, my fiancee and I literally happened on Victoria's by total chance on Saturday, 01/13. We arrived at around noon and may have been the first people to show up for the day. Given how quiet the restaurant was, we didn't want to get our hopes up but BOY did this place deliver. As soon as we took our first bite of the complementary (and addicting) warm black bean dip with fresh, salty tortillas we knew we were in for a treat! I ordered the burrito which was loaded with the most flavorful and perfectly cooked chicken. My fiancee ordered tacos (4 per order) - 2 fish and 2 barbacoa. The tacos and salsas were super fresh and tasty. I love that they didn't try to overcomplicate anything - just extremely delicious food without the need for gastronomics and extra flair. Even though this is about a 25 minute drive from us, I definitely think we'll be making another trip back!“
“This place has the best avo toast around best home fries. Delicious omelets. But the avo toast. I'm coming here almost every wknd for it!!! Perfect poached egg. And the arugula that goes on the multi grain toast. Devine!!!! A must try!!!!“
“Tried their birria tacos, tacos al pastor and the horchata and everything was perfect. Everything was fresh and delicious. Probably some of the best birria tacos I’ve ever had. The customer service was also very good. Definitely going back!!“
“They were so nice to accommodate my birthday ressy here!! Went back to grab the same thing I got as last time and again I ate it all! Food is still great!!! Service is a bit slow. And to the other reviewers that say it's quiet..that has not been my experience... it probably is when our large loud party isn't there.“
“Taco Taxi has undoubtedly earned its reputation for serving the best tacos in the world, delivering a culinary experience that transcends expectations. From the moment you take the first bite, you're transported into a world of explosive flavors and authentic Mexican craftsmanship. The tortillas are soft and pillowy, the meats are succulent and perfectly seasoned, and the toppings are a symphony of freshness and zest. Each taco is a work of art, meticulously prepared with a passion for quality ingredients and a deep understanding of flavor profiles. Whether you indulge in the classic carne asada, flavorful al pastor, or any other tantalizing option on the menu, Taco Taxi's commitment to perfection shines through in every savory, satisfying bite. It's not just a meal; it's a journey into taco perfection that sets Taco Taxi apart as a true gem in the world of culinary delights.“
“Seriously some of the best food I’ve ever had. The chicken burrito is fantastic. The guac is always freshly made. Churros are also great. My girlfriend always gets the spicy shrimp tacos, even though it’s not listed here on the menu. But if you call them they will accommodate. Very nice hidden gem in Lodi.“
“I didn’t know what authentic Mexican food was until I came here. This is hands down the most delicious Mexican food I have ever tried. Carlos, the son of the chef, provided outstanding service and was extremely professional as a server. I love this restaurant!“
“A very pleasant and delicious experience, a service 1A Alexandra, the girl who served me, that woman knows that it is a good service, and everything she recommended was super delicious, she told me you are going to leave the plate empty and she was right, you feel in a little piece of Mexico ??, after I traveled there I became more demanding with the Mexican food I get in the USA, this place is perfect to try a little bit of Mexican gastronomy.“
“I've been coming here for Taco Tuesday for a little bit trying to give it a chance and unfortunately to just too cheap of a meal for you to enjoy. They literally put like no ingredients in that taco. You're basically writing into a tortilla shell there's just nothing inside and it ends up being a really bad meal for the price. I understand it's a discount but they could do a little bit better with the amount of food that they put inside the taco shell It's basically a plastic container with a bunch of lettuce a taco shell and about a half a tablespoon of meat. Employees are so kind and very very nice so I feel bad it feels like they're being told to put such a small amount but if you could do better I would definitely be returning but for now I'm going to give this place a little break.“
“Don't let appearances fool you. This is not a diner. The food is awesome. Mostly tried their Mexican dishes and everything has been amazing. Although I eat different things all the time, my favorites take home are the soups. Great for the week.“
“I always order burritos from here, also love their chips and guac (just wish there was a smaller size for chips cause I never finish them). They always do a great job preparing the food. Presentation is always neat and they always get it right. Their guacamole is always fresh and I’ve never had to spend a long time waiting for my mobile order. Would definitely recommend this spot.“
“Taco Buzz in Fair Lawn is a hidden gem that promises an authentic Mexican culinary journey. My recent experience at this cozy establishment left me thoroughly impressed. The menu boasts a variety of tantalizing options, each dish bursting with genuine Mexican flavors.Whether you're a seasoned fan of Mexican cuisine or a newcomer eager to explore new flavors, Taco Buzz in Fair Lawn is a must-visit. The combination of great food and a warm atmosphere makes it a standout choice for those seeking an authentic and delightful Mexican dining experience.“
“I have been coming here for about a year, always good service and the food is good too, French fries are excellent and I like the quesadillas or the Caribbean burrito with plantains. Also the Agua Fresca with cucumber is really good. ?Parking: It is sparse.. and metered parking only“
“Overall it was a great dining experience. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Service was good, and pricing was typical. What was missing was the old days when Mexican restaurants typically gave you free chips and salsa for the table. A relatively small expense like that can go a long way towards enhancing the dining experience. It's like an Italian restaurant giving you free bread and butter/oil. Still, it was a good meal and the Sangria was good, though it could have had a little more fruit... Definitely worth a trip to try it out.“
“Natalie was such a great help! Explained everything very clearly and ? super helpful when I asked for a to go she even asked to pack it for us. Braught out the food quick and it was nice, hot & delicious! Great little spot for you and bae on a rainy night! Or any occasion. Cute little local spot. They speak Spanish and English also! Horchata frescas def give you that made at home made feeling. Overall we left super happy and full!“
“Friendly and great service. The food truck was very organized when it comes to the ordering. The food was delicious. One of the best birria tacos in the state of NJ. I drove 30 minutes for these tacos. I would recommend coming here for tacos.“
“I went in for the first time today, the experience was amazing!! great songs, the food was absolutely delicious, and the guy was an amazing help! The fruit was nice and soft, the chamoy and tajin added on was perfect. i’ve been craving this kind of fruit in such a specific way and this place hit every checkpoint! i would absolutely recommend since i just found my new spot!“
“It's quite an experience! It's not just a restaurant where they serve you dinner, it's the people who make up the barbecue community that make you feel special! Being Colombian, I am transported to Mexico and I enjoy its culture! Thank you ! Asadero Mexican grill“
“On Thursday we stopped by La Fortaleza Lodi. Truly enjoyed the environment. Very authentic. Feels like Mexico close to home. Got to see an old mentor Genaro. We caught up. Took his recommendation of the Trompito y El machete. He was courteous and attentive. He has a passion for attention and observed him take care of his customers throughout the restaurant.Family was very pleased and truly want to come back and experience the beautiful setting at La Fortaleza Lodi. Truly a go to Mexican restaurant to experience and dine in.“
“Excellent alternative to Chipotle!80% of the time I get their Nashville hot chicken burrito or bowl. This is better than Chipotle for following reasons.1. More flavors/options for your tastebuds.2. I like their reward program better than what other similar chains have.3. Excellent digital experience, easy to use app and on-time pickup. A notification about the ready pickup would be a nice to have.4. They give good portion of meat in your order.5. They also serve wings and deserts.Place is clean and is located in a nice small strip mall..!“
“(Translated by Google) I love the food in this place, the people who serve are very friendly, authentic Mexican food and at a good price, the only bad thing is that they don't have parking and it's hard to find but the food is excellent(Original)Me encanta la comida de este lugar, las personas que atienden muy amables, autentica comida mexicana y a un buen precio lo único malo es que no tienen parqueo y cuesta mucho encontrar pero la comida es excelente“
“Tried this restaurant last night and I was impressed! The food was delicious. I had the barbacoa street tacos the meat was delicious. The rice and beans was delicious. The drinks were good. The music was good. A great vibe and I will be back to try some more of my faves. We sat at the bar and it was a good experience.“
“My coworkers and I had a pleasant experience the service was top notch she was extremely attentive. I ordered quesadillas and tamarind juice and everything was delicious ? my coworker also enjoyed their food over all pleasant experience will come again thank you.“
“I came here one time for a quick dinner date with my best friend. And this is my second time coming I just had my birthday dinner with 13 guests. And everyone agreed that all the ladies there were super attentive. The music was so good and the food was even better. Jamelle was our waiter and her patients divine. It is not easy to do with 13 guest drinking all different orders etc . 10/10“
“The food here was excellent. Freshness and effort came through in all the dishes clearly. Everyone at the table loved their food - we ordered fish tacos, chicken fajitas nachos to share with everyone and our friends ordered the veg quesadillas and grilled veg Mexican bowl(it comes in a plate?). The restaurant also offers sauces with 3 different levels of spice which that added an additional element of flavour. The best thing is that they offer great service too ! Very warm and involved. Highly highly recommend this place! Hope to visit again ?Dietary restrictions: They accommodate orders very kindly. Please let them know of your allergies/restrictions before placing your order“
“I go here almost everyday on my lunch break and have never had a bad experience. we are always greeted with a smile and the staff is super personable. they are very accommodating and make sure you are pleased with your order. aside from the great customer service, the food is fresh and delicious. would definitely recommend.“
“Moras Take Out is a culinary gem! From the Tequenos to the Grilled Chicken Sandwich, each dish is a flavor-packed delight. The attention to detail and commitment to authenticity shine through in every bite. The diverse menu, including Quesadillas and Vaca Frita, caters to various tastes. The Kids Menu is a thoughtful touch. With impeccable service and a charming atmosphere, Moras Take Out earns a solid 5 stars. A must-visit for a genuine taste. I’m really happy the location it’s in very close to me. Family owed which gives it that home cook meal feel.“
“Absolutely top-notch authentic Mexican food. Outdoor seating when the weather permits. I am blown away by one of their ceviches called “Vuelve a la Vida”. I order it every time.Be sure to order a dish that comes with rice and refried beans. Their refried beans are to die for! This is a 6 star review, but Google only allows me to put 5 stars. The food is consistently delicious and I always have a great experience at Gardenia’s.“
“This is my favorite spot in Suffern! They have great comfort food with a decent selection of options. I'm always happy to stop by when I'm visiting home. Very friendly staff, and a casual and comfortable dining room, but not much seating. If you're looking for a good Mexican spot, this is absolutely worth a try.“
“FINALLY a solid taqueria within walking distance! We got chorizo and carnitas tacos - both excellent. Carnitas had a deep, meaty flavor, chorizo was flavorful. Green salsa was awesome, red salsa was a nice heat but not as much flavor. Got a lime cucumber agua fresca too, refreshing and not too sweet. There's only 3 tacos to an order (double tortilla) so they're not cheap, but it's enough food. The restaurant itself looks pretty nice - clean, bright, nicely decorated. We'll 100% be back.“
“(Translated by Google) Yummy the pupusa I would never have eaten it because I am Dominican but I really liked them! I recommend them to ????(Original)Ricas la pupusa nunca la hubiera comido porque soy Dominicana pero me gustaron muchoo ! Las recomiendo al????“
“I ordered chicken verde enchiladas, chicken tostadas, chicken Al pastor tacos ( 6 of them and they’re $2 each) , cheese flautas, and 3 jarritos. Everything came out to approx $56. The enchiladas were pretty good 9/10. Tacos were a bit dry 7/10 . Tostadas were a bit dry as well 7.5/10 . The cheese Flautas were 8/10 and I wish they put more creama on top instead of putting so much lettuce. I was mistaken though bc I thought my flautas were missing since I didn’t know it came with rice ( on the menu flautas are an appetizer so I didn’t know it was an actual entree with rice?) which I figured it was a side for the enchiladas and I saw a bed of lettuce which the flautas were hidden under?.. I immediately called the restaurant and they assured me it was packed but still offered to redo it free of charge. Overall the staff was kind, the food was good and the restaurant is well decorated but on a busy street! I always pass by and the line is always long and sometimes I even see people waiting outside! Definitely give it a try and I’m pretty sure you’ll enjoy their authentic Mexican food ??“
“It is a small place but very cozy, it has a wide Colombian menu, I ordered the tripe and I really liked it, they have a menu for children, do not miss this experience since it is not a spicy food Low in salt, the rice has that garlic flavor and onion reminds us of the homemade “
“Place is not bad. First time we went was for my wife's birthday. We were excited for Birria tacos. The consome was not bad. My wife enjoyed it. Taco shells are crispy and cheese was just the right amount. Meat was good portion. The place is very small. Its my only complaint. The waitress is good but there's only one in the place so if it's busy it's hard for her to tend to every table but she tries her best. They should add ground beef as part of their meat options. I would recommend this place if you're in a mood for some good tacos.“
“When I walked in I was casually greeted by a lovely hostess. She was super professional and so was the service at the bar. The team prefers Spanish but they go out of their comfort zone to make you feel good in English. The food, prices and drinks are worth it. Nice work 1/27/2024“
“If you're in Ridgewood and craving a taste of Mexico, look no further than Sombrero! Nestled in the heart of town, this gem of a taco spot delivers an authentic culinary experience that'll have your taste buds dancing with delight. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with an inviting atmosphere. As I perused the menu, I couldn't help but notice the friendly face of Alex S, who eagerly recommended their signature dish—the Sombrero Chicken Bowl. Trusting his recommendation, I decided to give it a try, and boy, am I glad I did! The Sombrero Chicken Bowl was a masterpiece of flavors and textures. Each bite was a burst of Mexican-inspired goodness that left me craving more. What truly impressed me was the attention to detail and the freshness of the ingredients. Not only was the food exceptional, but the service was also top-notch. Despite the bustling crowd, the staff at Sombrero ensured that every customer was attended to promptly and with a smile. Kudos to them for their efficiency and hospitality! Whether you're a taco aficionado or just someone looking for a delicious meal, Sombrero is the place to be. So do yourself a favor and pay a visit to Sombrero in Ridgewood. And when you do, be sure to say hello to Alex S and thank him for the fantastic recommendation. Your taste buds will thank you later!“
“The sliders may be the wrong kind of simplicity, not fulfilling an obvious niche when everything from White Castle to Ye Olde Gentrified Microbrew's $32 truffle burger offers more adornments to their beef. But the butter noodles seem more valuable if you're just in the mood for sauce; the Thai curry was a decently spicy coconut-based concoction. The wings were enjoyable. As an occasionally overloud advocate of chicken with bones, I applaud the option to get wings with a general Tso's sauce. Other options including Buffalo and teriyaki.“
“I went to the Midland Park location. Mary and the other staff greeted my son , my mom and myself as we opened the door. The food was hot, fresh delicious . Every time we come it is always consistent. Mary was so friendly , accommodating, patient helping us place the order and helping me download the app. We will definitely be back. Great atmosphere to sit back and relax with my family. I even went back to the counter to buy more to go for my husband . My favorite is the pork rice bowl with all the toppings. My mom loves the quesadillas they have just the right amount of crunch .“
