“We had a good time. Service was good very courteous. The bangara baingan was delicious. This was our first visit to the restaurant. They were very accommodating and adjusted the spice level to our needs. Nidhi Saini was on top of everything from service to food.“
“I am one to post reviews usually, and even if I do, its when I was truly disappointed with a product/service. With that out of the way, let me share my experience with Chatpati Delhi.I was visiting my cousins in NJ for the first time and as most Indians wanted to relish some good Indian food as the first thing in the city. My cousin suggested Chatpati Delhi and who can resist chaat, so we went there. We ordered pretty much all the usual suspects - pav bhaji, Vada pav, paneer tikka, Pani puri, khasta kachori. Now I count myself as a through and through foodie so I don't get satisfied easily. And the expectations were all the more high because we don't get good chaat in Austin, TX (where I live). To my utter surprise Chatpati Delhi not only not disappoint, they actually exceeded my expectations and that of my family. My wife and I couldn't stop expressing our gratitude for the delicious, and flavorful food we were getting to enjoy. The paneer tikka was especially soft, and masaledaar. The pav bhaji was way better than some of the best pav bhaji I had in India.Even better than the food was the exceptional service. Abhijeet from the restaurant was super warm and welcoming; made us feel very special and like family.I am stepping out to pick up some more of the amazing chaat from Chatpati Delhi before we head to the airport. If you're reading this please do yourself a huge favor and treat yourself to some exceptional chaat!“
“Amazing food and service. Great place to celebrate Indian food and special occasions! Moushmi had provided a good service.Mutton dum biryani needs a check in terms of the meats make since it had a chewy texture.Vegetarian options: Delicious Paneer Tikka Masala“

Also ordered Idli Sambhar - Idli- rice fluffy Pattie’s and thick spicy soup type sambhar made of Chana daal (yellow lentil). As desert we ordered Ras Malai really cool for our tongue .. thickened milk with saffron and almond/ pistachios bits .. enjoyed it didn’t take any pics !!Vegetarian options: Have Idli sambhar snd Ras Malai realty die forParking: Near railway station Somerville NJ“
“Tacowala is a really great option for large events. Amish was incredibly welcoming and helpful in helping us choose how much and what to order for my guests. We fed 40+ people with the tacowala catering event, it was all correct and greatly organized. I would recommend this to anyone hosting a large party as a great option for vegetarian mexican inspired indian tacos!“
“I ordered delivery for the first time from this restaurant. It was also my first time trying it.I ordered the Chicken 65 Boneless Biryani and WOW it was so delicious. I am a biryani-lover and am very picky.I discovered chicken 65 biryani more than 10 years ago and always give it a try from different restaurants. In a long time, I've had something so delicious. They didn't skimp on the chicken pieces, they have a whole egg, and they even had fried onions.I got medium spicy and it was spicy but just like I like it.I will be coming to dine in soon and also be ordering other dishes from here!Def recommend 10/10!“
“If you're searching for an unforgettable Indian food experience, this restaurant is a must-visit! Our recent dining adventure here was nothing short of delightful, filled with a burst of authentic flavors and warm hospitality. We started with the Paneer Tikka Tandoori, and it was a true masterpiece. The paneer was incredibly tender and infused with rich flavors, while the grilled vegetables were impeccably marinated, adding a delightful contrast. The only suggestion would be to include a few more veggies/paneer pieces to enhance the value even further.Moving on to the Maki Roti with Sarso ka Saag, it was a revelation. Despite expecting a heavy, butter-laden dish, we were pleasantly surprised by its lightness and authenticity. The presentation took us straight to Punjab, and the taste was simply divine.Although we initially came for Chole Bhature, we were informed they were unavailable on Saturday evening. However, the Peshawari Chole with Aloo/Paneer Kulche more than made up for it. The flavors were rich, and the kulchas were perfectly paired. To complement our meal, we indulged in refreshing Mango Lassi and Buttermilk, both of which were spot on and left us wanting more.Service-wise, Kareem was our attentive server who guided us through the menu with patience and expertise. Additionally, receiving feedback from the owner further highlighted their dedication to customer satisfaction.Overall, I would recommend this place!!“
“Delicious food and great atmosphere. This could easily be called a great upscale dining place in a small space. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. But most of all, all the dishes we have tried here have been super delicious so far. Of course their tandoori food is great. Must try!“
“Hardworking and wonderful owners serving you tasty and yummy food. Father Daughter owned business. Amazing and tasting food. Great service, great quality, great portion service and really economical prices. After our dinner they also served us complimentary gulab jamuns. It is a small joint with an eye for quality. Definitely recommend it for family celebrations, catering, birthday parties, home pujas and such occasions“
“As a connoisseur of fine cuisine, I had the pleasure of experiencing the culinary delights offered by Dalhouse Princeton Catering, and I must say, it was an unforgettable gastronomic experience. From the moment I arrived at the event, the aroma of freshly prepared dishes tantalized my senses, promising a feast for both the palate and the soul. The presentation of the food was impeccable, with each dish meticulously arranged to appeal to both the eye and the appetite.“
“In October we booked the restaurant to host a surprise birthday party for my Mom. Owners Mohita and Mukesh along with their staff did a wonderful job in ensuring everything was perfect! The food was great, they helped us decorate and arrange the seating, we had wonderful music; microphones and even a smoke machine was available for use!!! They went above and beyond to make the occasion memorable for everyone! I highly recommend Divine Curry !“
“Very tasty Dosa and other items. All the items we ordered were very tasty. The staff are very friendly and all the food is freshly prepared. The price is very reasonable and service is very fast. Highly recommended. It is great to see that they open at 8:00 a.m.“
“Found this place via scrolling on fb / ig and saw an ad for it.. Never heard of it and I'm not even from the area but decided to give it a try.My friend and I visited it on a rainy Saturday afternoon.. The owner of the place was working behind the counter which in itself is impressive right away.. She explained the process of whag they offer very easily and it was fun interacting with her and her husband. Very kind peopleThe place was established 8 yrs ago and I'm bummer out that I only found out about it recently.Using Naan as a wrap is a genius idea tbh.. They made the Naan fresh after ordering. The owner also gave a sample tasting of their soup which was a kind gesture and the soup itself was also great flavorful and the right amt of spices that wasn't overbearing! My friend and I both got wraps and they were quite good.. Actually very good that I'd gladly make tbe 45 min drive from my home to visit this place again!I saw other folks come by in the early evening and overheard their convos with the owner.. Nearly all of them knew them as their own friends.. It was impressive.. Usually you don't hear or see that at any restaurant.. But the owners were interested in knowing their customers.Would I recommend? Absolutely ?Thanks to the owners for being genuine people.. It makes a whole lot of difference when you get to encounter with them at a restaurant ?“
“One of our go-to places for take-out and dining-in for the last few years. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. We typically order naan, chicken tikka masala, and chicken korma. We’ve never been disappointed and plan to continually return.“
“If.you like rich dosa go here. they make them with ghee and it is yum. we tried the standard fare of dosa idli vada and Mysore masala. Everything was good. someone mentioned the price on the higher side i don't think that is the case. It is comparable to other restaurants.“
“Delicious panjabi food. Small shop but food quality is above and beyond thousand+ reviews. We are vegetarian but I observed non-veg would be better than anybody in this area.We ordered, Aalu tiki chaat, Paneer Makhani, Garlic Naan and each dish was delicious.Thank you AuntiG ?“
“We had a party in our backyard which included around 80 guests. Rottu kadai has a very good variety of dosas and each one of them tastes amazing. All our guests throughly enjoyed the experience of live dosa and the food. Kids especially had a lot of fun watching the making of and pizza and ice cream dosas and eating them. They went above and beyond in getting dosas ready very quickly. On top of dosas, their chutney, Sambar, idly and variety rices were delicious. We had a wonderful experience with Arun and his team!! It was a HUGE HIT!!! I highly recommend him for your next party!!“
“Santosh was our server - the food was amazing and the service reminded me so much of my childhood memories- wonderful food and typical south hospitality from south India - if you like spicy food , I would truly recommend Nalan! Thank you Nalan for awesome food!Vegetarian options: Liked the choice of jackfruit biriyani and kurmaKid-friendliness: Kids had choices to try out“

“The menu at Spice Rack boasts a wide selection of traditional Indian dishes, each expertly prepared using authentic ingredients and time-honored recipes. Whether you're a fan of creamy curries, fiery tandoori specialties, or fragrant biryanis, there is something to delight every palate. Standout dishes include the butter chicken, tender chunks of chicken simmered in a luscious tomato and butter sauce, and the aromatic lamb biryani, a fragrant rice dish infused with spices and tender pieces of lamb. One of the highlights of dining at Spice Rack is the opportunity to customize the spice level of each dish according to your preference, ensuring that even the most sensitive palate can enjoy the bold flavors of Indian cuisine. The restaurant also offers a variety of vegetarian and vegan options, making it a welcoming destination for diners with dietary restrictions or preferences.“
“We arrived here on a Saturday afternoon at 1 pm and the place was packed and we had to wait only for few mins fortunately.Food - the taste and quantity of the food was good. We ordered soup, chicken lollipop, chicken varuval, mutton kola, non-veg meals, biriyani (chicken and mutton), chicken kurma and parotta. All the items were good and no complaints. The serving size was also more than enough for each person. The non-veg meals was $30 but the servings are unlimited so is worth it if you have a good appetite.Service - they welcomed us well but we ended up waiting almost 45 mins just to give the order. We thought it was only for us but apparently was the case for many others. Some were annoyed as you can imagine and someone on the other table began to yell at the waiter as they were waiting similar amount of time with their kids. Apparently someone did not show up to work is what they said but am not sure if that is true. Just be prepared to wait. Once they got to us things started moving fast and they served us well.Place - the restaurant is small and there is less space as they have arranged the chairs and tables for max occupancy. May be large groups (more than 6) might have to wait longer.Overall it was great experience, hoping they have better service next time.“
“If you're yearning for authentic Kerala/Malabar cuisine, this place is a must-visit. We indulged in their buffet, which boasted a scrumptious spread of 57 items, showcasing the essence of Kerala cuisine. From chicken, duck, and goat to mussels, fish, and eggs, the non-vegetarian options were plentiful, while the vegetarian dishes were equally extravagant. Although priced at $25, the buffet's quality, variety, and flavors make it worth every penny. However, be prepared for crowds, especially on weekends, as this cozy space fills up quickly. Reservations aren't accepted, and seating operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, they ask patrons to wrap up their meal within 40 minutes to accommodate waiting guests.“
“Probably the most luxurious rendering of Chapli kabab I've ever had ? and definitely the highlightLamb Tikka was great too and they both come with rice + naan and very delicious chutneysEverything is halal and there is also a prayer place.Cut off a slight negative as the table I was waiting on was a bit sticky on parts. Epic food and very kind people thoughDietary restrictions: They have halal food“
“The food was very fresh and tasty! Good portion sizes too. I got the chicken tikka with butter sauce platter and it was amazing a little spicy but just enough to be flavorful. I also tried the dessert item they offered and it was my favorite part it was still warm when they brought it out.“
“This place has a new management and everything is so good and hygienic. I like it. We found a Soya Malai Chap on the menu. It was an amazing mouth-watering ??. It's so good. My kids order chicken 65. She said it was so good and crispy:):). The service is so quick and nice. No need to wait. Thank you. It was an amazing experience. Yes I definitely going back to SpiceClub.“
“Something about living abroad but still having the motherland feeling when I step into Nirvanis. The food here is spectacular and the vibes are super immaculate. With fast service and the cleanliness of the restaurant. My cravings for Nirvanis increase day by day. I would highly suggest to eat here and to try their malai kofta and their chicken Hakka noodles. Which are items to die for!!!!“
“Last week we had three poojas on different days I. our home ranging from 15 to 40 guests. Ayyappan of Dosa Grill delivered the food himself. Each dish was fantastic - lemon sevai, Avila, oothappam, vadai, thair sadam, rasam, sambar, bisibele, poori masala and other dishes spread across three days. Simply delicious and authentic. Superb!! Thank you for making the occasions so special with your catering“
“I got chicken kababs and white sauce. Kababs are very fresh, and green sauce is very, very tasty. Very reasonable price $2 per kabab. When I tasted it, the white sauce was good, too; I will try it at home too.Mr. Kamran is very, very friendly and hospitable. Thank you, Mr. Kamran!!“
“This is one of the best Indian Food restaurants in the area. Highly recommend the Chicken Tikka and the Paneer Lababdar are excellent go to - choices. Samosas is okay, the fresh naan is excellent. The mango lassi is one of the best in the area but is a small cup for the price. The buffet has an excellent selection and includes some unique indo-chinese.Vegetarian options: Paneer Lababdar“
“This place is just a wonderful little gem in Hillsborough. The couple that runs this place are just the nicest people and make the most wonderful food. Eating here is like eating at someone's house. You can just tell there's love in this food. Go taste the love!“
“I've been getting biryani from here for over a year , This place is the best I've found so far , and it's not just me , all my friends have nothing but praises for this place.Awesome taste , great service, and very welcoming people . 10/10 would recommend to everyone.“
“We go to other Honest locations in NJ often, but this location is by far our new favorite! Ambiance is modern, service personnel were excellent…very polite and helpful in giving good food suggestions!Food was very tasty and fresh and we went on a Sunday that too for late dinner! We ordered Chinese Bhel and fried tofu( both were nice and crispy with perfect Chinese spices), Chana poori( which was very tasty like homemade), Paneer butter masala and kulcha( suggested by the manager and it was very good).Menu has many new fusion options that we haven’t found at other locations. So we will definitely be back to try all those soon!“
“Goat sukka and chicken pepper fry were awesome. We went during the worker's break time (4 PM), still the restaurant is open. The owner lady was courteous. Service was pretty fast. The owner himself was the cook. This is during the month of Ramadan. Owner was fasting, hence did not taste the food. But the mutton biryani and other items we ordered were of almost perfect taste. Shows the experience of the person as a chef.Very friendly folks. Tasty food. Faster service.Definitely will recommend.“
“First stop my dad makes when he visits from Chicago. The only Pakistani restaurant my kids get excited about. Excellent management and wait staff. Consistently delicious food and excellent service. My go to restaurant for Pakistani cuisine both dining out and catering. Shabash!“
“This is not a eat-in restaurant but rather to take home and enjoy as they truly give u the experience of grandma's home cooked meal. They have variety of gujarati dishes and so far none have disappointed us. Try it, u would not be disappointed(if u enjoy gujarati food).“
“Me and my family went to Kathiyawadi Village over the weekend and were truly blown away. My parents moved from Virginia and wanted to treat them with homely food. My dad is very picky of his food and he liked every single item from here.Upon arrival, we were greeted with a warm smile and their magnificent chaas. Then we tried many appetizers, individual items, and thali (very soft rotlas). I have to say, they never disappoint. Food was good tasting, fresh, and reminds me of homeland. My entire party enjoyed their meals and ate till they were beyond full.As for the atmosphere, we loved every aspect of it. Very lively and fed with love. We had asked for many refills on the thalis and were served with a smile every time. Lastly, this is the best thali and Gujarati place in US. I have grown up in US and eat only certain food from outside - I am blessed to have this near my home.I would recommend Kathiyawadi Village to anyone looking for thali, Kathiyawadi food, and homely food!“
“Good Indian cuisine. Taste was good, a bit costly but food was worth it.Tried:Veg momo fried with spicy sauceGobi ManchurianPaneer Tikka masalaKaju butter masalaassorted basket naan (Naans are stuffy, order wisely)Everything was just perfect enough.....Would definitely visit again to taste more items“
“One of the best Indian food I have had . It’s not a one time experience. But over several yrs . They catered my Diwali party of over 60 guests and everyone loved the food . The kebabs are one of the tastiest and juiciest I ever had . They serve food with a personal “
“This is not a fancy place - however, the food is to die for. If you are Indian food lover, you will love what they serve you. I ate the gol gappas and then the paranthas and chai. The food was high quality and made with great care. These were the best paranthas I ate in a restuarant. If you are nearby and looking for street food or lunch, do nit miss out the place.“
“Amazing food and great service! We tried most of the vegetarian appetizers and they were all outstanding! For main course we ordered Malai Kofta and Daal Tadka and they were good too! Their homemade rasmalai was excellent! Service was spot on! The manager Rushit was very friendly and attentive! The ambience was very cool too! Highly recommend this place!“
“Went there looking at the mixed reviews and not sohigh hopes and also it was the closest. The tandoori platter was amazing and the star to the show. The meat was perfectly done. Very juicy and tender and comes on a sizzling platter. There was fish, lamb chops and variety of chicken tikka. Absolutely loved it. The guava mocktail was great as well. Very well garnished and presented. But the main course we ordered, chicken curry, egg curry and paneer makhaniLoved how paneer makhani tastes. But the chicken and egg curry was overly spiced and too many random masala in it. No set taste.I’d order something else from the menu next time. The staff was nice but since it was a slow day, we had to hunt for the staff every time we needed anything. The interior was nice and very clean place.“
“After my fiancé raved about the Tandoori chicken takeout one night, we decided to give the sit down a try. This was my first time here.To start, the food was outstanding. They were beyond accommodating to us, especially given the fact my fiancé has a food allergy. They introduced us to Fryums as an appetizer/pre dinner snack and tapioca dessert (which I unfortunately forgot the name of). I had the Chana Saag with Garlic Naan and my fiancé had the Tandoori Chicken (again)- every bit of it was phenomenal. The ambiance was warm and inviting with incredible service to match. The service alone was outstanding- everyone was friendly, accommodating, and willing to indulge us when we asked about the cuisine. In short- we had an amazing experience here and we can’t wait to come back soon!“
