“It's always a delight to eat at Bruno's Bistro. The atmosphere is so warm and friendly. We're visiting family and getting to eat delicious, freshly prepared food. Some of our favorites are the cheese gnocchi with crabmeat in vodka sauce, short ribs, and the paroadelle bolognese. The pistachio dessert is to die for. “We've dined here several times. Tonight, we sat for 10 minutes before anyone came to ask what we wanted to drink. I know personally there is a 3 minute rule. A server should ask for a drink order within 3 minutes of sitting down. That being said, once Tony came to our table to take our drink order, everything was perfect going forward. Our cocktails were good, and my husband's Caesar salad was very good. Our entrees of Penne Shrimp Scampi and my husband's chicken dish were delicious! Our server Tony, (who was also the bartender) was attentive and very pleasant! We don't eat dessert so I can't comment on that. After the initial wait, everything was great. I'm thinking just like everywhere, they are short handed. All in all we really love Mia Nonna Cucina!!“

“My girlfriend and I came to pavesi last night and the entire experience was out of this world. From the immediate attention of our server Seth, to the amazing food Chef Sam made to the atmosphere. To start the food is out of this world, there are few restaurants who can faithfully say they serve fresh Italian cuisine on the daily but let me tell you this place IS one of the few. The similarities of chef sam’s dishes to the dishes I have eaten in Italy are uncanny. With every bite was a blast back to sitting in Tuscany or Rome eating true Italian cuisine. The entire staff was beyond welcoming and super tentative at making sure we had a great experience. You know a restaurant is quality when the chef is making rounds at the tables personally asking how your experience was and how the food taste. He truly cares about his perfection and it shows not only in the amazing taste but the attention to detail and making sure you are enjoying yourselfs. I am Not one to ever leave a review on a website but for this restaurant I will twice on Sunday, the chef made my girlfriend and I feel like we were celebrities, a franky Sinatra if you will based off the amazing food and ambiance. ALL AROUND 10/10. OH it’s a BYOB as well to make it even better. There’s a quality wine store 2 doors down so don’t sweat it if you forgot. highly recommend.“

“The food was great. We had bread and olive oil with olives brought to us, and then shared the seafood salad and then had the Short Ribs and Veal Saltimboca. Prices were very reasonable. Servings were large...we took home some of the seafood salad and Veal. There were only 5 tables with diners on a Thursday at 7pm, but all were properly attended by one person acting as waitstaff for all. Absolutely no problems. It would have been nice if there were more people eating there, but we'll help fix that by coming with friends next time“

“Excellent local Italian that is a true delight. Everything ordered to date has been exceptional from regular menu items to specials. Chicken and Veal dishes are amazing. The Mozzarella Carrozza appetizer is uniquely served with piccata sauce that is fantastic. The meatballs are top notch as is their sauce. Service is professional and attentive. They care that each diner is pleased. Note: it's basically cash only (venmo ok) but it's worth it.“

“We dined last night. We have been dining at ilvilagio for 20+years while we do like the men who usually serve us they can be slow and easily distracted talking with customers they know. We had a young lady last night who was so pleasant and absolutely adorable, she made food recommendations that were spot on and knew the menu items well enough to tell us the ingredients. She did everything herself from taking the order to serving the food and clearing the table. I'm impressed. She was so cute and funny that she made our night exceptional. I didn't get her name but she was the only girl there. Thanks for making our night special.“

I had the cavatelli with broccoli rabe, The pasta tasted homemade and the broccoli rabe was prepared perfectly. I'm vegetarian so they left out the sauage for me. Our friend got a pizza and loved it. Rumors have it in the pizza world, is you ever wanna try a places best pizza always order a personal pie, that will tell you how they really are. So I ordered a personal Mushroom, Plain and a specialty one. Let me tell you this, IF you like a good crunch pizza..... On every bite.... Good flavor that stands tall..... This is the place to go.... ABSOLUTELY, so far, one of the best around.... This hole in a wall will surprise the s#$& out of you. Next time I will go for a full size pie and tell you how that goes....It will be interesting... I have been in places where I love there personal size and didn't like there full size....and let me add..... It was so good that I ate the personal Mushroom before I got home and I love down the road in Morristown... That's how good this wasI AM TELLING YOU if you like a crunch to your pizza, and you eat the whole slice.... This places personal pie is just for you....The two guys behind the counter was extremely nice... One had to be the owner, a bigger guy great personality and knew his stuff.... And the counter guy was just as nice and eager to help....So I have no dog in this fight.... Did I get lucky, maybe maybe not.... I will go back and order the large and definitely a person for the ride home.... It will be interesting.... But this is a true review.... Thanks to the guys who made the pies....“
