“What a find! We are local but this was our first time here. Been going to the nail salon near by for years and decided to try the restaurant with friends! It is now my favorite restaurant and not only near because it is near by.
Can't wait to go back and try more from the menus. The Supa de Pesce was spectacular. Fresh and delicious! Service was great as well! Can't wait to return and try some other items on the menu! As a pescatarian this may well be my new favorite restaurant and being local

“We happened upon this neighborhood gem quite by accident and we are sure glad we did! Charming little restaurant with a nice bar for a pre meal drink and a courteous, attentive staff. “I chose cafe azzurro based on recommendations from others for a “celebration of life” luncheon and I am so glad I did. With 30+ people the restaurant was generous to give us our own room and the menu selections were delicious. The service as well was impeccable! 10/10 I will gladly return and encourage others to sample their excellent food and ambiance. Thank you from our whole family !“

“The pizza is out of this world. The sauce is incredible and my favorite has to be the Brooklyn MVP and the Portney Bar Pie! Whole menu makes it so I can mix it up but I seem to always go back to the Brooklyn MVP! Great spot, great menu, amazing food!“

“I have switched to getting my pizza here on Fridays after work. It's convenient for me & my family who are picky about their pizza, love it. I've been very happy with the light, crispy crust, the sauce is delicious & we like how the cheese melts right into the crust. They even make 2 slices for me with just sauce, no cheese. Most pizzarias won't do that. I recommend you give them a try.“

“To be fair, my rating is over 4. It's more like a 4.6 since 1 of us 6 mentioned a slight negative about the flavor of her chicken. And our per person cost was about $50. I expected that, but that's okay. The sights outside were very nice. The grandchildren enjoyed themselves which is a plus. If you have a boat, you can actually dock it at the Windlass and order a meal. They also have several cabana looking coverings along the dock which can be reserved so you can enjoy your meal there. My wife noticed that the seating can glide forward and back.“

“Carmine's is our go to place whenever we crave Italian or a cheesesteak. Husband and I were there yesterday for late lunch. Excellent pasta fagioli soup, huge slices of pizza, and overstuffed, cheesesteak. Great service and reasonable prices. We were informed there is an extra charge if you're not paying cash. This is becoming a common practice and we were informed of it. Server was excellent and made us feel welcome. I was asked if I knew of any pizza parlors served gluten free and of course I recommended Carmine's.“

“The food here is outstanding & delicious! You must try the Sicilian Grandma's Pizza. The crust was amazing as is how they make a Sicilian slice of pizza. It's the right balance of crust and fresh ingredients without it being overpowered with dough. The salad we had was delicious too. Everything so far we had here is just phenomenal as is the customer service, staff & owner. Definitely go and check it out!“
