“I have ordered takeout from here twice and eaten here twice, and we are now considering this our favorite date night spot close to home. Each time, the food was far above my expectations regarding restaurants in Hunterdon County. You would think from the name of the place that it was simply the standard Italian fare, and you would be mistaken. There are Asian, Mediterranean, and American influences as well, making the selection very well rounded, and everything is prepared and presented with obvious care and attention to detail. The sauces are TO DIE FOR. The owner is a very warm gentleman who makes his rounds not only to greet customers but also to provide support to his staff. Don't miss out on this gem!“

“Good Italian food in a great location. Service was just okay - but it could have been an off night. The menu has a good range of options - but not so many that you have to wonder how many of them are good. The was a live band, which was nice. Cocktails were good (not great) too.“

“Very good pizza! Never had a problem with the service, usually pretty quick and if you order ahead it's often ready even a lil early which is great. No frills for sure, but the pizza itself is pretty killer.Parking: It's a small lot but it's never been full in my experience.“

“Mama’s Cafe Baci has a huge gluten free menu and every single member of the staff is well versed on how to handle a table with both GF and non GF.The GF calamari is fantastic. It is always prepared perfectly- never overcooked -as it is in many places. The calamari is one reason I will travel almost an hour just to eat there. The oils seems to be quite fresh, not old or burnt tasting, and it is a GF dedicated fryer. The other (and most important) reason, is I never get sick from Gluten cross contamination there. That is a really big deal. The owners are super friendly and so welcoming, and no matter how busy, they take the time to check in with most everyone that comes through the door. From the atmosphere, to the well trained, attentive staff, the pride taken in this family business is obvious. One year, our children had our anniversary party catered by Mama’s so it could all be gluten free and safe for me to enjoy. They picked up a huge order with all kinds of food, unfortunately the pizzas were left behind at the restaurant. Sheri called apologizing and sent freshly made, hot on delivery, pizzas with a driver ALL THE WAY to our party an hour away. We were so impressed and very grateful as the pizzas were something we really look forward to treating ourselves with once in awhile. We are all human, and we all make mistakes, whether it was theirs or ours they made it right without excuse AND offered to give us the pizzas at no charge. We absolutely refused - we want Mama’s around for a long time.Glad to have it close enough to be able to go, but not so close that all those delicious gluten free desserts are too readily available!Always a pleasant and relaxing meal out.Dietary restrictions: Careful, attentive and well versed on the importance and severity of cross contamination for people with gluten intolerance and Celiac“
“Desserts are the bomb. Marsala is divine Salads are top notch, sometimes it depends on who is the kitchen , some nights it's just Good good, but some nights it's as of someone working magic back there.. on those nights the food is DIVINE!“

“This is one of our favorite go to places. The staff is always friendly and attentive. There is usually no wait to be seated. We have many favorites but the pizza is at the top of our list. The crust is soft and there is plenty of cheese. We love the fresh bread and oil to dip it in that they bring when you first sit down. The bolognese sauce is some of the best that we have ever had. Pasta is always cooked perfectly. Some of the best wings as well. Crispy and flavorful. There are always specials on the weekends and they have a large selection of beer, wine, and specialty cocktails. The cannoli are great and the mocha cappuccino is a must. We do wish they would bring back their bruschetta. It was delicious!“

“Came here with my family for a goodbye dinner, and I have to say it was quite cozy and cute inside. They are a BYOB restaurant, so we brought our own wine and our waiter opened and poured it for us throughout the visit making sure our glasses were always full. I strongly suggest they type up the specials for people to read and to view prices. The waiter told us the specials from memory; so of course, all three of us had questions to ask and the waiter was getting angry that we couldn’t remember all of what he just said. After we order, we receive these absolutely delicious breadsticks and they were gracious enough to bring out seconds! I ordered the meatballs as an appetizer, I thought they were really tasty and juicy! I ordered the Chicken Milanese as my entree. I thought the chicken was a bit dry and super thin, it definitely looked like a large piece of chicken but was very deceiving. I was very excited for dessert because I was told by the lady that everything was homemade. I also work in the restaurant industry; I recognized 3 of the desserts right away being from a restaurant company. She then told me that the Tiramisu was a family recipe of theirs and let me say this, it is a must try for sure. Tiramisu is a favorite of mine and it did not disappoint! The lady also sold me on ordering her cappuccino because she makes them really good; it was good and extra foamy. Overall, it was a nice experience. However, I don’t think I will be coming back anytime soon due to the prices. If I knew 3 meatballs were going to be $19 I would have skipped it. Same for some of the other dishes, especially on the specials menu. I get they are going for a more upscale feel but having your waiter and waitress sit a table away from you eating and talking with other workers doesn’t really give off that vibe.“

“I went to a dinner one night. I went to Rosemarie’s Cucina in Clinton NJ. The food was delicious and they buy the food every morning. It opens at 5:00 but you can go earlier if you want coffee and bake goods. You can still get baked goods if you go later. That’s why you should go to Rosemarie’s Cucina.“

“Well, now we can no longer get "pizza to go" near us. Instead, if we want pizza, we drive 20 minutes (passing numerous other pizzarias) to get pizza here. Luckily, they have a few tables for those of us that live too far to take it to go. It is definitely the best pizza ever!!!“
