“From the moment we walked in, we were treated as if we were sitting in first class. The staff was so attentive to our table even though they were very busy. We were not rushed and enjoyed every savory bit of food that was put before us. They also catered to me being a vegetarian. We finished our meal with the most delicious homemade gelato . if ever given the opportunity, please do not pass this gem of a restaurant up.“

“Luna Rossa is an exceptional restaurant which is run by a loyal and dedicated team under the direction of Adrian. Our first time visiting this establishment was with a party of 10. Adrian took all of our orders including appetizers without writing anything down. The food was delivered to perfection. I am astounded by the diversity of the menu, the ability to switch out sides, the quality and taste of the food. The chefs are talented and cook to delight every palate. I can not say enough about this wonderful restaurant including their staff Carlos, Kevin, and everyone that works so hard to deliver memorable meals. I look forward to going back soon. Thank you!“

“What a great Pizza Discovery. First of all, you cannot get any better Customer Service. The Family owned business was highly engaged the moment you walk thru the doors. They have been in the Food Business for 50 years and at this location for 30, so they understand the importance of customer engagement. Their great attitude alone would have me wanting to go back because they are such nice people. Small Family run business, it doesn't get any better. But it does here, the Pizza was excellent and the Homemade dessert knocked it out of the park. The Pizza is unique in that it made like a traditional Neopolitan style where the crust is wet and has some sag at the start of the slice. This is not usually the style with a deck oven Pizza slice, but they pull it off because the dough is so fresh. Perfect blend of cheese with an excellent homemade sauce. They are tucked away in a mini mall in Peacock, but once you make it there once, your taste buds will bring you back. Thank you for a great experience.“

“Ordered a whole plain pizza and 4 mixed slices to eat there. Pre-made slices were ready immediately, and the plain pizza came out in about 10 minutes later. This was on Superbowl Sunday. Pretty quick!!

The staff were attentive yet not overebearing and the food was delicious. The Northern Italian menu which changes to focus on only the freshest ingredients has a little Swiss influence and is presented with an artistic touch and personal care. Last evening I hosted sixteen business associates in the back room which has an iron gate for privacy. Filippo presented a five course meal which blew everyone away followed by him playing a few songs on the Piano. The Chicken or Cod dishes were pan seared to perfection. daFilippo's is a BYOB restaurant which I Love. My wife remarked how clean the restrooms are kept. Plenty of parking in the rear of the building. In closing, if you are looking for a family owned, unique restaurant where the owner chef touches every plate to ensure perfection then this is the place to make a reservation.“

“I can’t say one bad thing about this restaurant - the food, the service, even the greeting at the front door was all great. As soon as my friends and I walked in we felt comfortable. We shared eggplant rollatini and bruschetta to start, and each had pasta dishes (chicken parm & lasagna) for our main entrees. We each brought half our dinners home so we could share a dessert :) which was also wonderful (fresh baked chocolate chip cookie in a cast iron pan with ice cream). We WILL be back. “Attended a party there. Great food. We had Caesar salad, meatballs (giant), fried calamari (really good!) and our choice of entree. I chose chicken parmigiana, first off as a joke I asked the server if this was for the entire table, a huge portion! Two large chicken breasts atop a good size serving of linguine. “We were there for my daughters birthday this past Saturday. My wife and my daughter's boyfriend had the seared salmon which they loved. My daughter had the chicken parm, which she said was good. Her only "complaint" was that the sauce was a bit too sweet for her taste, but the portion was good and the chicken was cooked well. My son enjoyed his pepperoni pizza. He's not very adventerous. I had the Capellini Napoletani. It was very good. The capellini was cooked perfectly for my taste as was the shrimp, clams and calamari. Very tender. The sauce was great. This is our go-to for great food and is my wife's favorite. She is returning with coworkers for lunch on Tuesday. Service is top notch. Keep up the good work. We'll definately be returning.“

“Sometimes I crave their soups and pasta, although we all know is a pre made dish, the only things that they could improve is whenever they offer how you want your steak and one say medium rare and you get all cooked, not done , cooke… why bother to ask?
And Why offer a more expensive Lavazza coffee when they bring a coffee from the pot and does not say anything… that attitude in a downside… if one cannot do it, don’t offer…“
