“We had a rehearsal dinner at Carlucci's in Whitehouse Station on Friday. Everything was fantastic! We reserved the private room. Karina helped us decorate and kept our beer cold until it was time for dinner. We chose fried calamari, bruschetta, and zucchini rolls as appetizers. Awesome! The chicken parmesan, penne primavera, and spaghetti with meatballs were delicious. Desserts were limoncello cake, cannoli, and chocolate cake. The food was served family style so everyone was able to try different items, which was a big hit. Karina was a wonderful waitress and took very good care of us. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Thank you Tommy and the entire staff for making our night special!“

“I never give five stars for anything, as five star would be perfection. Guess what, this is the best Italian food I have had outside of Italy. Produce is obviously fresh and high standard. I'm a bit of a foodie, and I've eaten in some expensive restaurants that don't have food as good as this. I won't go anywhere else.“

The owners and staff are customer focused and if you need an ingredient changed in a dish ordered, they are more than willing to go the extra mile to make certain that you are satisfied. “This place is a hidden gem . We were there the other night with 5 people and everyone loved the food they ordered. We have been there a couple of times since it changed ownership and it’s great. It seems to be empty except on the weekends and I have no idea why. Maybe because it’s a few miles out of town. It’s more than worth the drive in my opinion !“

“We've dined at il Forno numerous times and have loved every meal. Portions are large and delicious, and you are never rushed.

Last weekend, we had the il Forno pizza truck for our son's rehearsal dinner and it was outstanding! They served a variety of delicious pizzas and just kept them coming for 2 hours. Service was perfect, there were many compliments from guests, and no one left hungry!

“My brother and I just had a memorial service for our parents and we went to Espo’s for a luncheon after the church. This place is amazing and Nick the owner treated us like royalty. The food was the best Italian food I’ve had. Nick and his staff made our celebration of life for my parents wonderfully memorable. “Luna Rossa is an exceptional restaurant which is run by a loyal and dedicated team under the direction of Adrian. Our first time visiting this establishment was with a party of 10. Adrian took all of our orders including appetizers without writing anything down. The food was delivered to perfection. I am astounded by the diversity of the menu, the ability to switch out sides, the quality and taste of the food. The chefs are talented and cook to delight every palate. “We just moved to Califon and this is the first place we tried. Hit right on the spot! Their Spinach ravioli and Vegetable Dish Pasta is a must try! Their wine selection is amazing too! “I'm a big fan of Joe's Pizza. I've had their pizza on a few occasions and have never been disappointed. The staff is very friendly and the service is always quick. The plain pizza and the penne vodka pizza are two of my favorites. The penne vodka pizza is fully loaded with excellent vodka sauce, a crisp base, and crunchy-crisp crust. The plain is fantastic and features a salty, buttery cheese and an amazing sauce. Joe's is definitely one of my go-to's in the Flemington area.“

“We stopped in Clinton, NJ overnight on our way to New York City, and decided to give Dora restaurant a try, based on their good reviews. We all loved our meals! Both the mushroom ravioli and Dora ravioli were delicious, and the Chicken Parmigiana was a good portion and nicely seasoned. The special chocolate soufflé dessert was served hot and worth the published 15 minute wait time to prepare. There was a limited wine menu featuring local wineries, so we were not sure what to expect. The bottle of red wine we ordered was dry and very good! The restaurant is situated in the quaint downtown district, and well worth the visit!“

Napoletan done the right way. Not to mention the owner is beyond good people. Greeted me outside while I was waiting for them to open and then offered me an espresso while my food was being prepared. “every time i go i have wonderful experience, the food is always delicious and the staff are wonderful…nothing to complain. The last time my family and i went a waitress made her own decision to change our order. my husband and i shared a plate and we were supposed to get one salad to share too, my parents the same thing. instead of getting 2 salads to share she made her own decision to bring a bigger and more expensive salad for the four of us to share. Good thing my dad checked the bill and was able to spot it. The waitress did try to explain but it didn’t make sense and then later we saw on the bill that she gave us something we didn’t ask for. this never happened before but just always make sure you check the bill before paying. the manager was wonderful and very helpful about it.“

“Couldn't take a picture because my family made the pizza evaporate as they inhaled it too quickly. ? We happened upon this place probably not the way most people do. We were just walking around Clinton (which we love, but it's nearly an hour from where we live), found an alley which turned out to be some apartment complex parking lot. Saw a "Pizza" flag on the other side of the fence. Walked around the fence, essentially coming in the back door, just following our noses, because it smelled so good we were getting hungry trying to figure out what this place was. And sure enough, ordered just one pie, just for a taste, and what a taste it was! I think Portnoy would give this place a very high score. I usually focus on the sauce first, which is astounding, but the crust! Oh my! I could not get over the crust on this pie (Marguerita). The sauce was delicate, cheese (fresh mozz) and fresh basil were perfectly balanced. Not even a tiny part of any slice was without robust flavor.
Pricey if you've never experienced Napolitano pizza before (I compared it to pizza from Milano or Pisa as well), but exactly what you'd expect in Italy! This is not Americanized pizza. Repeat. This is genuine Italy pizza here! Delicioso! Buon appetito!

“I originally wrote a subpar review for this store having no idea that there’s 7 Panatieri’s pizzas within a 20 mile radius. I ordered on uber eats and received some pretty subpar pizza, but it was not actually from this location. Not only were they kind and professional in their response, but they’re so confident in their pizza that they offered to remake it for me. Of course I would never accept such kindness, but I for sure know where my next pizza order will be from. And based on all the other reviews, I’m sure it will be excellent. Sorry about that!!“

“Very good place to grab a lunch or dinner! The owner works very fast, he was very professional and also the price was good. The food was delicious. Perfectly cooked. I live around the area and it's a perfect spot for a pickup and go meal on a small main street! They do have a tables for sitting inside of the place “

“We used them to cater our food for our wedding, and when I say they were perfect, I mean it!! They were professional, easy to use, and delivered everything up for us (in terms of food) while the ceremony was going on. We just set up the racks and sternos beforehand, and they did the rest. I had many people tell us that it was the absolute BEST wedding food they've ever experienced. And the price was unbeatable. Tons of people pay over $200 a plate at their wedding, and we paid less than $15 and we still had left over food!! AND people said it was the best! My uncle doesn't eat penne vodka, but he said he had 3 plates bc it was so good. With the leftovers, we were able to donate it to a homeless shelter. You couldn't ask for a better cater for your wedding food!!“
