“trattoria uno....my favorite place, every time I go... I order seafood combo omg...I can't wait, I already want to come back from Miami to enjoy my pasta with seafood again...the cooks know exactly what They do...the owner Angelo is super friendly, the best thing of all is that he is Chivas de Guadalajara “
“Great, great place. The pizza is phenomenal, my husband and I frequent at least once a week. Their Il forno calamari is so good. If you want a little change from regular fried calamari, you have have to try. Just a an all around great place to eat. We're so thrilled to have a new place in town so close by.“
“Stopped for an early dinner after a nearby theater performance, and our daughter, who lives in the area, suggested we try something different. She had some recommendations for this establishment. It was early and plenty of seating was available. We were led through the inside to a back mostly inside area (the doors were open and the ceiling fans provided a comfortable setting). There is also a beautiful outdoor seating area which was an option. The menu is pretty extensive from pizza to sandwiches to salads and entrees. The four of us shared 2 large Caesar salads, two of us opted for special personal size pizzas (of which we both had plenty leftover to take home), one had shrimp scampi (she also had leftovers), and the other entree was a pasta dish. We all completed our meal with various flavors of gelato. The service was great (and the busboy continually filled our water glasses), prices were reasonable, and it was a lovely setting. We all enjoyed our meal and we would definitely make a return trip! Parking is on the street, and it's also a BYOB. Dress is casual.“
“The best eggplant parmesean sandwich I've ever had from a pizzeria restaurant.Eggplant was sliced thin and no breading. You really tasted its full flavor. Creamy mozzarella, delicious marinara and fresh, crisp bread. Bravo Panatieri's Pizza & Pasta!“
“Such a great dinner spot! Came here with a two coworkers and were blown away by the service. Our waiter gave detailed recommendations that turned out to be delicious!! I got the ragú as my main meal and loved it, and the cabbage/shrimp appetizer was what especially surprised us with its flavor. It was a small and quaint spot with only a handful of tables, which created an intimate environment. I came from out of town but if I was local, this would be a go to for me!“
“Excellent food and a great intimate setting. Had the claims and mussels in a spicy sauce. Followed by a spinach fettuccine with crab meat special. The veal was also very good. And to top it off, had the tres leche dessert. Our server gave us great recommendations. First time dinning here and will definitely come again!“
“3/18/24 - My wife and I had lunch at Agave today. We've driven by often but this was our first visit. We parked out front but there appears to be parking around back too. My wife ordered the chicken tostada and I ordered the Impossible Burger. Both were fantastic. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We will be back.“
“From the outside it doesn’t look like much, and might give you some pause walking in and that’s fine, because I like that it’s easy to get a table thereBut seriously the place is amazing, the food is absolutely fantastic and tastes incredibly fresh every time“
“We had an amazing meal at AMA tonight. Sat at the bar and was able to chat with the owner. He told us about growing up in Italy and how he worked to renovate the restaurant himself.Everything we had was delicious. Arancini, Parma pizza, Cacio e Pepe, and homemade lemon gelato. The outside seating is gorgeous in the warm weather. Highly recommended!“
“The food here was excellent. I got the chicken Parm and it was very satisfying. When u walk In I believe you will be greeted by the owner. He's seems real nice. I like everything just wish I had a little more space( but that is just my personal preference). I still think the place was great. I also got a tequila sunrise and the bartender made it just right. It was my first time so I will be going back to try more dishes. The prices and somewhat on the higher end but you get a lot of food.“
“A new restaurant in our bedroom community of Hillsborough, NJ, Mama Fanti is a place you don't want to miss. We went around 6:00 on a Friday night and were seated even though we didn't have a reservation. We found the food VERY flavorful! I really liked the sauces which must have some "secret" ingredients because they tasted better than what I have grown used to. We had a stuffed zucchini appetizer, three mains, a salad and a dessert for around $150.The salad was plenty for sharing. The eggplant Parmesan was interesting. I'm used to very thinly sliced eggplant with lots of breading, but Mama Fanti's was thickly sliced, nicely breaded with a delicious sauce. The veal cutlet topped with arugula was great, but the chicken dish (see below) was out of this world. I'll get that next time I go. We finished with an incredibly light tiramisu (one serving for all three of us).“
“Came here on a late Sunday afternoon after a soccer game. we were unfamiliar with the area but it was also my husband's birthday and we wanted to have a celebration dinner before we went home come on come on come on Looking for a restaurant that was nice and served good food. This hit all the boxes it was nice enough for a birthday dinner while also being casual enough to accept a familyin soccer jerseys and the little messy from being out all day. Everything we ordered was delicious. The servings are huge and the service was impeccable. The outside seemed a little modest, but the inside of the restaurant was very upscale .“
“What a nice place for lunch or dinnerRob and his staff are always friendly and politeThe pizza is great as well as the sandwichesToday our office staff got to enjoy a chicken parm meal with a fantastic saladWhenever we have an office meeting with staff this is our go to place. Thanks guys !!!“
“Amazinggggg✨ This place really was fantastic, we loved every single one of our dishes, my rib eye special was cooked perfectly and the ravioli de mare was so delicious. The owner came by to check on us multiple times but all staff were very attentive and friendly and really cared for everyone dining in. We are coming back next week for Easter Sunday, I would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a good Italian restaurant with great service. Please try the limoncello dessert , 10/10.“
“Owners and staff are always sweet. Small town vibes at the register. They will talk with you like a real person and will happily make your order the way you ask.Sandwiches and slices of pizza are always on point. You know how every place has their own style? Well, I like theirs. The ratios of dough, sauce, and cheese are how I like it.The bread on the sandwiches is always fresh and soft and tasty.Catering prices aren't outrageous, either.Oh, and they do their own deliveries for those averse to the outrageous markups for the door dash, etc. (I'm guessing local/close delivery only, but still. They get major points for that from me!)“
“Tried Carlo’s for the first time and got a 1/2 grandma 1/2 grandpa pie…..delicious!!!! So tasty!!! It also smelled amazing on the drive home. Got the sautéed broccoli which was also really good….loaded with flavor. Can’t wait to go back again!“
“We've had lunch here about 10 times this year, and we really like it. Wish we had discovered it 24 years ago! We've had a few Summer dinners on the back patio sitting by the Raritan river headwaters, just a babbling brook at this point. It's enchanting! Try it!“
“Love this place. Food and service have always been top-notch. The service is never rushed, even at a Christmas Eve dinner. Our server Brian is always fantastic, and has even spoken to my sister-in-law in Polish. She's Ukrianian and I think she loves the fact that someone would go to the trouble of speaking to her in a language she's comfortable with. Much appreciated.“
“We hosted our kiddos baptism at Savor and it was just wonderful. Our guests all raved about the food and how beautiful everything turned out. Robert and Lisa were really great to work with during the planning process and even accommodated a last minute change for us. I have tried a few different things at Savor but my favorites are definitely the rigatoni vodka and flat ironed steak. Its BYOB so don't forget that wine :)“
“One of the best Italian delis in central NJ! I have tried roast beef, tuna salad and chicken salad sandwiches. They come in big portions and good for more than one meal. The ingredients are very fresh. I customize my subs with balsamic flavor and just taste soooo good!“
“We have been meaing to try Ulivo for a while now and we're glad we finally paid them a visit. The food was amazing and so was the service. Great overall experience, we may even host a private event here. We can't wait to go back and try more of the menu.“
“I order from here today from door dash. The ziti and chicken marsala we got were amazing! We are planning on going in here this week. Haven't been this excited about a restaurant in a long time. If delivery was this good can't wait until we sit down and eat.“
“Carlucci's Bistro has earned its way into my top rotation. We recently discovered this gem and have been back several times. You like pizza? Go now! The Fungi pizza is other worldly, provided you like mushrooms. Don't like shrooms? Any other pizza will make you happy. The eggplant rollatini - magic. Antipasto salad is solid. Great food, great people, great atmosphere. If you enjoy great food, great humans, and a great BYOB, then high-tail it to Carlucci's. Go now.“
“I been coming here since the 1970’s for awhile it was the only place in Manville to get pizza. Now there are three other places but their homemade sauce stands out amongst the other. The food is good the owner Anthony welcomes everyone like they are his family. Come try his pizza and his other Italian cuisine, you won’t be disappointed.Vegetarian options: I sometimes order the mushroom or peppers on my pizza.Dietary restrictions: They use quality ingredientsParking: They are by an open empty mall there is parkingKid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“A very friendly environment with great service on overall. The appetizers, dessert and main course were delicious. The chef came out to greet us and asked if we enjoy the food. I would definitely come back and yes I would highly recommended. Thank you to the chef and waiters for an amazing experience.“
“I think this is my second or third review of Azzurro. My wife and I live in the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania and drive 42 miles to Peapack at least twice a month (although this week we were there twice) to dine at the best Mediterranean/Italian restaurant in N.J. We have several Mediterranean/Italian favorite restaurants in N.J. All run by Albanians. However, Azzurro is just a touch above the others. The quality of food is outstanding (Rigatoni Azzurro and Eggplant Parmigiana are standouts) with all entrees cooked to order (pasta true al'dente). Prices are very reasonable with excellent desserts priced at $7. The servers are total professionals and attentive. The restaurant is roomy, clean and have nice paintings on the wall. And to top it off, it's BYOB. We just love the place. We have not met the owner but have repeatedly pleaded with the servers to tell the owner to open a restaurant in the Lehigh Valley or at least closer to Pennsylvania. Bob and Linda“
“Caffe Piazza was a big, welcoming surprise in its unassuming location. Not since I've been in Italy have I had a similar dining experience. Welcoming atmosphere, the wait staff was exceptional - knowledgeable, attentive, courteous, helpful and friendly. The food - I dipped my bread in the olive oil and upon tasting it, immediately noticed that this was really good olive oil, and it went uphill from there, everything we ordered and tasted, looked, and was, delicious. The house salad came out and my wife and I both agreed, this may be the tastiest salad dressing we'd ever had! I don't know what was in it!My grandmother was from Calabria, and she could cook, and I grew up eating her sauce, so I never get the Sunday dinner (Stofato Special) at restaurants as I'm usually pretty sure I'll be disappointed. I gave it a shot and it was excellent. The meatball, sausage and braciole were tender and tasty and the sauce was scrumptious over the fresh made pasta. I was in heaven. I cleaned every drop of the bowl with my bread. The other 3 diners ordered a fresh pasta with a tomato cream sauce, a seafood dish and a chicken with vegetables dish and every single dish looked so good, I am thinking I'm going to have to go back at least 3 more times to try them ?Had the pistachio gelato for dessert. Just full of pistachio flavor, and that creamy gelato texture that makes your tongue dance, savored every bite.I ordered a cappuccino, which upon tasting it, also lifted an eyebrow as it was exceptionally good. After dinner, the owner, who is from Italy took pride in telling us about their ingredients, their philosophy and their roots in Calabria (no surprise!). He also shared that their family has been serving up delicious meals here for 29 years, that's just amazing. Just like back home, he offered some Limoncello to end the meal which sealed the deal.If you've been to Italy, or if you haven't, check this place out and you'll feel like you were.“
“I have a rare food allergy which can often be challenging to accommodate. I was beyond please when the server had the chef come out and the chef told me I could have anything I wanted customized so it would be safe for me to eat. My dish was absolutely amazing and I even had the manage come and check on me as well to make sure my allergy was taken care of. I will definitely be dining again“
“I placed an order for pick up. Everything we ordered was delicious. The mozzarella sticks were so good. Never have I ever picked up an order brought it home and the sticks were still hot. When you bit into them them were still stringy. My boys bit into one and can pull the cheese out as long as there arm. Highly recommend!“
“Burger? Ribs? Thin crust pizza? Beer on tap? This is the place. Always on the list for a great casual meal. Eat at the bar for some interesting conversation. (And many gluten free options).Dietary restrictions: Extensive gluten free selections.“
“Ordered an Italian hot dog to go. Phoned the order in from a flyer we received in the mail with multiple locations. I called the wrong location and went to pick up from my local. Realizing my error they expedited my order and it was delicious. They could not have been nicer or more helpful. Absolutely coming back for other food!“
“Good Italian classics in a nice, new premise. Some things can use improvement: Volcano shrimp was tasty although the ratio of 7 shrimp to an extremely large bed of mashed potatoes was disappointing. The chicken parm dish comes with a side of penne vodka which I thought was nice although it was very light in color and tasted different than penne vodka dish also ordered. Finally there was a ring around the toilet bowl in the ladies room, making me ponder the cleanliness of the establishment as a whole? Also this is a BYOB!“
“The food, service, and ambiance here are really good!I love the blackened chicken sandwich and the caprese pastaThe waiters are very nice and friendlyThe restaurant is well-lit – it isn’t too bright, but it isn’t too dim eitherThe hot sauce and the bread with marinara sauce are also good hereVegetarian options: Vegetarian options are available“
“Every town should have a Pizza 'n Pasta! You walk in and everyone welcomes you; service is great, pizza made by Brian is superb. Menu has daily specials. Shout out to Mark the manager and Eric who help make it a favorite place to bring family and friends.“
“We have gotten take out and dined in many times. We are always amazed at how good their Latin food is and their Italian food. The menu is so big and diverse and we have never ordered anything we didn’t like. The prices are so reasonable and the portions are good. The staff there is also so kind and pleasant. Love this place!“
“Had the truck for my daughter’s graduation party on 6/25 and everything was phenomenal. Pizza is as authentic Neapolitan as you’ll find this side of the Atlantic. We had the truck 8 years ago for a prior graduation and guests who attended that event were thrilled to see Lombardi’s here again. First timers were truly impressed. Professional, immaculate and all around nice people. Jerry S Watchung“
“We dined at The Market Tavern several times over the years and were pleasantly surprised to experience Sapori Cafe. The new owner has transformed the restaurant into something completely different, with its own unique identity, but kept the charm of the original building, which we love. The food and service were amazing, with specials to satisfy everyone’s palette, and it’s a BYOB to top it off. The string bean salad with beets, and the Lobster ravioli entree special with shrimp and scallops, served in a vodka sauce, was my favorite. Sapori Cafe is definitely a welcomed gem to the area, and we hope to be back very soon.“
“Great food, nice staff and a pretty large space! Really enjoyed meeting my in laws and gma here for a quick early lunch on a Thursday. Service was great- we ordered salads and all of them were huge and delicious. I really liked the burrata- very good and took 1/2 home! Thanks for a great meal! Would absolutely go back- huge parking lot was across the street and used a few quarters I had! So easy!“
“This place is amazing. My family always gets multiple orders of chicken alba and peppercorn chicken. The arugula salad dressing is too good. The continuity isn't always there, the orders are often different depending on the day so I always make sure to check the bag, but the atmosphere is fantastic and the service as well. one of the best places in the area.“
“Tasty, thin and crispy pizza. We walked in looking for a few slices to eat there and he had a fresh plain pizza right on the counter. He warmed up a few slices for us and we took a seat. The pizza tasted great and had a great crisp to it. Not too cheesy and not too bready. I'd check out Joe's for takeout in the future for sure.“
“First time visit. A very nice experience. Excellent service from the time we arrived, throughout the evening. Nice menu. Every dish was excellent. A proper desert cart. The cheesecake was very nice. We look forward to many more evenings at Cafe Emilia.“
“Great food. The pizza is very good and they have amazing prices. Service isn’t bad but could be better. The people are nice but it can be confusing who’s food is who’s because they just call out when certain pizzas are ready. Nice interior as well.“
“The food at Lenny's was delectable. I especially enjoyed the penne alla vodka pizza, but we had four different pizzas and each one was amazing. The appetizers were timely and fresh. A really great restaurant if you are looking to diversify your Italian!“
“Stopped here for lunch. Food was excellent and very much enjoyed the antipasto bar. Place was very clean and welcoming and service was great. The only thing we didn't like was the boardwalk pizza- zero flavor so that was a little disappointing. If we are in the area again, we would definitely stop here for lunch or dinner for their delicious meals, salads and antipasto bar!“
“Phenomenal pizza! My wife loved that they have gluten free crusts too! Garlic knots were exceptional! I grew up in NJ and miss this kind of great pizza place so much. Will definitely come back next time we visit the area.Follow up - my wife said it was the best gluten free pizza she had ever had!“
