New Mexican Restaurants near Monroe, NJ

“This is a charming little Mexican spot not far from us. The decor was cute and we sat at one of their tables, but it also appeared to have a bustling takeout business. The staff were friendly and the food was authentic. Compared to so many other Mexican restaurants in the area that are the big corporate type brands with your standard “American Style” Mexican food, Las Chilangas made us feel like we were eating home cooking. The portions were generous and even my little one who is picky devoured her steak tacos. It is very clean and everything was delicious. We will definitely be back.“

“I ate at the Monroe store today. I had never been at a Buubakoos before and did not know what to expect. I had the pork burrito and it was off the hook. The place was spotless and the service was spot on. The manager came over and introduced himself as John and asked if everything was satisfactory, and it was more than satisfactory. You would think John was the owner not just the manager, he cared as if was his own business. It was good to see that. I will be back for sure, my new go to place.“

““I didn't have a reservation, but they seated me immediately and treated me very kindly. The young lady who served us was very patient with the children about the food and an excellent host.” I ordered a Molcajete which was delicious and thanks to the children I even ate fries. I recommend them.“
