“Considering I dined during mid-morning on a Sunday, the wait was respectable (10 minutes). I was seated in Yesenia's section, who was exceptionally pleasant and hospitable. My order was delivered very quickly. I spoke with the manager, Irvin, who was equally as pleasant. I wanted to compliment Yesenia real-time. Irvin was appreciative. Kudos. I look forward to dining at this location again soon!!“

“Our waitress was the sweetest and they have some really unique menu items. I’d say their sweet choices are better than the savory but we enjoyed everything we had. Cornbread French toast was particularly sublime! The French press Kona coffee was a great start to the day. My one small complaint was the cleanliness of the dishes. My coffee mug had a visible red lipstick stain, my water glass had food particles on it and one of my plates was dirty. Just a small critique there. The space is nice open and not stuffy. And I noticed a good amount of foot traffic overall!“

“Always a pleasant and relaxing place for brunch , today was no exception. Ben our server was attentive and efficient, friendly and helpful. Our food was delicious as always. My son had the Shaksuka which looked great and which he said was excellent and not overly spicy. I had one of my favorites, Power Grain Pancakes. They are huge and flavorful, 2 always leave me with leftovers. The omelets and lemon blueberry pancakes are also excellent. Don’t forget to get the French press coffee; today we had Ethiopian which was so good I drank it black.

“Been driving past Amy's for years and finally stopped in. Staff was super friendly and patient as we read through the huge menu with incredibly creative options to typical breakfast favorites. My wife got her old standby, a ham and cheese omelet but I had to try the 'Space Cakes' omelet which had kielbasa, cheese and a bunch of other stuff in a potato pancake stuffed omelet. Both were very good. The hash browns were fresh, not super soft and had big chunks of peppers and onions. Not to everyone's taste, probably, but I loved them. Maybe could have been a little more caramelized? Fresh coffee kept on coming. People who know me know I have a weird theory that you can immediately tell how good a diner is by the number of jelly flavors in the little rack on the table. Amy's maxed out with four, plus an extra point because one was marmalade. A little pricy at $45 for two people but we will absolutely go back, next time we are in the neighborhood.“

“I LOVE this place. The owner is usually on site, friendly, and knowledgeable. Inventory here is always fresh, and delicious. Hands down, they have the BEST lunchmeats in the city. If you're looking for an ACTUAL deli, not a beer store, this is the place!!! If I could give a 6th star for the fact that if they're busy, they will take your phone number and call to let you know your order is ready, they would most definitely have a 6th star. The restaurant is dirty, the waitresses look dirty like they climbed out the bed and put on clothes off the floor and the food is nasty. I just threw away a sandwich and grits. This place used to be excellent but the past 5-7 years .. I'm done. I wonder if it's under new management. All the good waitresses are got. It doesn't even smell like food cooking. Also they used to be packed. Now it's empty.“

“Was there Sunday probably around 1 PM and had a great time with my mom and we decided to make a point on going to an IHOP and then this particular one was perfect plenty of seats and great service infact the waitress who served us must have been very happy with the tip while the order was only 36.99 I think and said just bring me back 50 which she did only thing I was at ahh about is 2 twentys and then 10in one's like what she expected a second tip on the table like many people do is just leave it on the table I had her break a 100 for an order that was 36.99 I think I know it was a 13 plus dollar tip which is fine because I like MAKING SURE THAT I GIVE A GOOD TIP IT COULD HAVE BEEN A LITTLE BIT BETTER BUT I DIDN'T LIKE HOW 3 OR MORE TIME'S AS SOON AS I TOOK A BITE SHE ASKED IF WE WERE ALL SET YEA SHE COULD STILL BE LEARNING HOWEVER IF THE CUSTOMER IS NOT LOOKING UP TOWARDS THE WAITRESSES AND THEY ARE TALKING AND ENJOYING THERE FOOD THERE'S NO REASON TO BOTHER THEM HOPEFULLY SHE READS THIS AND UNDERSTANDS THIS ONE CRUCIAL THING ABOUT SERVICE EITHER WAY SHE BASICALLY GOT LIKE AROUND A 40% TIP OF THE MEAL WHICH IS UNFORTUNATELY GER HIGHEST TIP OF THE DAY AND MANY FORGET ABOUT THE SITUATION THEY ARE IN AND IM ASSUMING SHE COULD EITHER BE IN COLLEGE OR AT LEAST WITHIN THAT AGE GROUP AND COULD ALWAYS USE IT FOR THINGS EITHER WAY AND THEN I HOPE OTHER PEOPLE EATING THERE WILL READ THIS AND BE KINDER ON THE AMOUNT THEY LEAVE AS TIPS PERIOD“
