“It's so hard to go to brunch with folks when all they want is eggs and pancakes, but, you can go to Turning Point and have some vegan goodies! They have Just Egg, which is great, because you don't need to feel left out. They have a delicious power up grains bowl with a salad, quinoa and legumes, and sautéed veggies, dressed up with fresh avocado and salsa. It's a pretty decent size, but if you have a large appetite, it may not be enough. Thankfully, they have vegan pancakes, yesssss! Order them and be happy with your carbs, syrup and fresh bananas and strawberries. Top it all off with a bunch of juice and beverage options like French press coffee, tea, lattes and fresh juices. There's also avocado toast, waffles, oatmeal and at least one salad that's vegan friendly. So, that's pretty much an option in all the categories. This makes it a great option for veg*ns, because so often there is only one or two choices! There's also vegan sausage if you like that with your brekkie or brunch. Yum all around - just wish they had a vegan hot chocolate section. Parking is easy, service is quick and table are plentiful.“

“Considering I dined during mid-morning on a Sunday, the wait was respectable (10 minutes). I was seated in Yesenia's section, who was exceptionally pleasant and hospitable. My order was delivered very quickly. I spoke with the manager, Irvin, who was equally as pleasant. I wanted to compliment Yesenia real-time. Irvin was appreciative. Kudos. I look forward to dining at this location again soon!!“

“Our waitress was the sweetest and they have some really unique menu items. I’d say their sweet choices are better than the savory but we enjoyed everything we had. Cornbread French toast was particularly sublime! The French press Kona coffee was a great start to the day. My one small complaint was the cleanliness of the dishes. My coffee mug had a visible red lipstick stain, my water glass had food particles on it and one of my plates was dirty. Just a small critique there. The space is nice open and not stuffy. And I noticed a good amount of foot traffic overall!“

“My son and I had a really great experience. He ordered the avocado Benedict and it came out with bacon. We sent it back cause he’s a vegetarian. The menu omitted that it was a meat dish. Anyway, not only were they gracious about the exchange but they brought my son a fresh bowl of fruit. The apologized a few times about the mix up. The Benedict was fixed and delicious! I ordered the chili- and let me say- best chili ever!!!“

“omg i loved everything about this place the food was great the only thing was the waiter asked if i wanted powered sugar for my French toast i said yes got my french toast no powder sugar and there’s no coffee refills 😩😂 that’s my only complaint but other then that the coffee was good i would definitely visit here again soon the grits was awesome Thank you“

“Been driving past Amy's for years and finally stopped in. Staff was super friendly and patient as we read through the huge menu with incredibly creative options to typical breakfast favorites. My wife got her old standby, a ham and cheese omelet but I had to try the 'Space Cakes' omelet which had kielbasa, cheese and a bunch of other stuff in a potato pancake stuffed omelet. Both were very good. The hash browns were fresh, not super soft and had big chunks of peppers and onions. Not to everyone's taste, probably, but I loved them. Maybe could have been a little more caramelized? Fresh coffee kept on coming. People who know me know I have a weird theory that you can immediately tell how good a diner is by the number of jelly flavors in the little rack on the table. Amy's maxed out with four, plus an extra point because one was marmalade. A little pricy at $45 for two people but we will absolutely go back, next time we are in the neighborhood.“

“I LOVE this place. The owner is usually on site, friendly, and knowledgeable. Inventory here is always fresh, and delicious. Hands down, they have the BEST lunchmeats in the city. If you're looking for an ACTUAL deli, not a beer store, this is the place!!! If I could give a 6th star for the fact that if they're busy, they will take your phone number and call to let you know your order is ready, they would most definitely have a 6th star. “This place has been a staple for a long while now. Breakfast of fish and grits is my favorite and fish and shrimp with fries when I'm feeling like fish on Friday. Had recent company that seriously had a thing for the French toast I got them. The cooks are doing something right.

Parking: There is a lot out front. It's never overcrowded but can look dark at night. Yet the bus stop and traffic patterns are usually busy enough to counter it feeling unsafe.“

“This place has gone all the way down. Everytime I try again it's worse. The restaurant is dirty, the waitresses look dirty like they climbed out the bed and put on clothes off the floor and the food is nasty. I just threw away a sandwich and grits. This place used to be excellent but the past 5-7 years .. I'm done. I wonder if it's under new management. All the good waitresses are got. It doesn't even smell like food cooking. Also they used to be packed. Now it's empty.“

I called a day before to confirm our reservation and to my surprise the person who answered the phone didn’t secure my reservation when I called and found this out your staff went out their way to make sure I was accommodated my coworkers and I had a fabulous fabulous time it was Awesome food great as usual music great,service was exceptional as usual and the occasion was perfect.
