“Having had a less-than-great experience at a Yummy Yummy in MA, I was a little hesitant to try this one. But I’m glad I did. The space was clean, well-lit, and had a welcoming feel—simple but not run-down, economical without feeling cheap.

The person at the counter took my order and said it would be ready in 10 minutes. I stepped outside for a call, and when the food arrived, it looked fresh. The rice was moist, the pepper curry was flavorful and balanced, and they even included an egg roll, which was also tasty. While they had condiments available, the food stood well on its own.

After finishing my meal, I thanked them—and they thanked me back with such warmth that it was both funny and heartwarming. As someone visiting from out of town, this was a worthwhile stop. At the end of my trip… Yummy Yummy!“

“Most of the customers were Chinese. The menu does have the typical Chinese-American offerings, but also has some very authentic Cantonese offerings. Big on seafood. Had deep fried Japanese tofu with salt and pepper (fantastic), pork with crispy noodles, and seasonal Chinese vegetables (Ya Choy) or Chinese broccoli (not your run of the meal broccoli) in a garlic sauce, shrimp dumplings, and pork shu mai. It was plentiful and delicious. I asked my friend where we should eat outside of a Philadelphia Chinatown, she said China Gourmet. Highly recommend. “Awesome waitress that attended to my son and I. Timely appetizer and main dish was delicious for both of us. The key lime dessert was extremely small for the price of $5.29 however my son did enjoy it. The manager came over to see how our meal was and gave us coupons for a free appetizer next visit. This is my favorite place to visit when my son comes into New Jersey. We will look forward to enjoying a meal in June when he comes back to stay for the Summer.“

“I would like to share a bit of a positive thing that happened. I went to Classic Asia (AKA BEST PLACE EVER) and ordered take-out Shrimp Pho soup. When I got there, the woman (who is already so nice) told me they didn't accept AMEX cards. Unfortunately, I didn't have any cash on me. So I said, "okay I'll be right back, I'll go grab cash!" Her reply was " No no, don't worry about it. Next time you order just tell us it's you! I couldn't believe it. I was like HUH?! How is someone being this kind ?!? I told her, she was insanely sweet and that I would be right back with cash payment. She goes "okay but don't rush, go and eat first and just come back whenever!" “I’ve been looking for a local chinese restaurant ever since the one we went to burnt down. After driving a lot further than I prefer I found this hidden gem. My orders are generally simple general tso, sweet and sour chicken, and shrimp and broccoli. But you’d be surprised how different or how bad they can be from place to place.
The portions here were great and the food delicious! Even had chop sticks and free kiwi candies!

Staff was friendly and the food was cooked and ready for pick up in under 20 mins. Plenty of parking in the back.

I usually get an order of string beans or whatever green veg I see first, then we pick from the rotating carts. I'ma say yes to everything that has shrimp. Lol. You can request custom orders during sim sum hours, too, FYI.

I've been there at night for traditional ordering, and that was really good, as well, but I like a little bit of everything, so I love dim sum.

“I got the barbecue ribs and the flavor is great, I'm not a big fan of peas in my fried rice but their fried rice is okay. The soup looks really good, and they gave me the crispy wonton noodles. They also let me swap my egg roll for a spring roll which I prefer so that was really nice. The people that work in that shop are super nice and very helpful. I found out that they do actually deliver within a 5 mi radius. I think it'll be easier for me to order delivery next time parking was a bit of a pain.“

In this area specifically, this is one of the best around. I don’t know if the same person is working the cash register, but a little boy always rung me up and he was perfectly kind. “We go to the place almost once a month and have never, NEVER, been disappointed. Even with the fruit they sometimes have, it’s so fresh it’s insane. Everything is made to perfection and we will never go anywhere else. Don’t forget to check the fridges btw, really good stuff.

their lo mein and fried rice options are delicious and are my typical pick ups from the joint. not to mention they're fairly priced too.

although, despite the tasty morsels these fine ladies and gents are chefing up. i got a slight bone to pick with them.

i almost always exclusively order delivery from them. and for some reason 9 times outta 10 they confuse my address with my neighbors. it isn't the worst thing in the world, and thank goodness my neighbor isn't some sorta jerk. but it'd be nice if this somehow corrected itself. not sure how, i've tried. believe me. so i guess it is what it is.

all in all though, delivery shenanigans aside here, this place has some tasty treats if you're lookin' for a solid stop that's well priced and conveniently located. so go give them a shot! no doubt you'll have a good time too.“
