“We went around the happy hour time. 4-6 pm and you have to be seated at the bar for the happy hour prices. The service was good, attentive staff. The food was good to my surprise. The crispy cauliflower and mushroom pita pizza are a must-try. The Thai chili wings and Buffalo wings were deliciously sauced, along with my margarita. The Smash burger is a must-try too. I don't like a place telling me what to tip. That's not how that works. 80 dollars in a tip. Tipping how much is up to the customers.“
“As a vegetarian, I often struggle to find meat-free brunch options that can compare to traditional items. Sidecar Bar is the best brunch i’ve had in Philly! I got the Hippy Benny and it was PHENOMENAL!!! The ingredients were fresh and the potatoes were incredible. I went with a large group and some other favorites were the pancakes, the breakfast flatbread, and the Texan Benny. The atmosphere was fun and upbeat while still remaining casual and family friendly. Our server was friendly and attentive and it was all around a great experience! Definitely make Sidecar Bar your next Philly food destination!“

“Cool table tennis spot. I attended an event here and there was plenty of food and drinks and friendly staff. Fun environment so I would recommend checking it out if you are in the area. If you are from out of town, there is a parking garage right across the street but it was $30 for 2 hours so just keep that in mind.“
“We stopped by after the Philly Love Run for a much needed brunch. It wasn’t full and we had a nice table upstairs by the window. The bartender is awesome! He made a perfect spicy Bloody Mary and was funny and helpful. Thanks for making out lunch great!!The menu online isn’t exactly what they have (at least for brunch) but what we had hit the spot. I got just dry wings cuz I wanted to try more than just 1 flavor, so I got the mango habanero and their sauce of the month (slipped my mind unfortunately, maybe called Kapow?). So, if you want to try more than 1 flavor I suggest doing what the server suggested and getting dry wings with sauces on the side. My fiance got all teriyaki flaked wings. We also got the corned beef egg rolls, these came out hot and fresh, really good too.They have a pretty large drink selection from what I seen on their online menu. I got a sour so they get bonus points from me cuz you can't always get a good sour.Also, the staff were friendly and helpful.The music playing I also enjoyed as it sounded like a variety of music from what I recall. “Been here twice on a Friday night and food has always been fantastic. Only complaint is that they sat us in the non-dining room area side where a live band was playing. Very loud to the point it's hard to communicate at your table. We also had a child with us. I noticed there were more children on this side, so not sure why they decided to seat parties with kids on this side with the live band. My wife and daughter were also cold since it's more of an enclosed outdoor dining area with ceiling fans running in January and February. Will continue to come here, but next time I'll request the main dining room.Parking: Two parking areas. “My boyfriend and I split the Loaded Pork sandwich and The Dave (BBQ Pulled pork with Crisp Bacon and a smashed Mac & Cheese ball!). Both had tender meat and came out hot.The Dave: A TON of meat on this sandwich. Just the right amount of BBQ sauce on the meat. Served on a round roll. The Crisp Bacon added a nice crunch. Make sure you are hungry, and ask for extra napkins!Loaded Pork Sandwich: The roasted pork was seasoned nicely, complimented by Roasted Red Peppers, sauteed Spinach and a generous amount of Provolone Cheese. The pork had a nice flavor and was juicy. Served on a long roll, which was very fresh.I also ordered the Brussels Sprouts, which were some of the best I have tried. Roasted in garlic and butter, with parmesan. Some nice crisp pieces as well. A decent serving size - enough for two people to share. I would order these again!!For a treat we ordered the Bread Pudding Bites. These were phenomenal. Enough for 2-3 people to share (maybe even 4 if you each just want a few to taste). Cubes of Bread Pudding that are Deep Fried and sprinkled with powdered sugar - very tasty! Dense like bread pudding should be, but with a funnel cake vibe. They were fantastic as they are served (The bread pudding is flavored well and perfectly moist), but next time, I want to order these with a scoop of Ice Cream which would take the dessert to the next level.Overall Experience:Service was on point (never had to ask for my water to be refilled), and the food came out Quickly. There is a nice Variety to choose from - something on the menu for everyone! Clean restaurant with a Modern Vibe. Great spot for a work lunch or sit-down dinner with family. Lots of Local Beer on tap with plenty of space to sit at the bar as well if you are into the drinking scene. Filling meal and a great value for the amount of food you get. “The whole experience was amazing! Servers Brooklyn and Roz were attentive and very helpful! We went for breakfast and for a Sunday morning they were very busy, but throughout the meal, Brooklyn was very attentive, even though she was running between multiple tables. Roz was amazing as well! One of the children made a little mess, but she was very quick to help clean the situation, and offered plenty of help afterwards. Their food options are mostly limited to burgers, sandwiches and bar food snacks. I would not come solely for the food, but would definitely return for the great atmosphere and drinks!“
