“The Black horse diner outdid themselves in helping provide outstanding chicken pot pies to celebrate my dad's 90th birthday. the pot pies from the Black horse diner are one of his favorites and I wanted to serve them the party I had.... the team at the diner was so helpful and accommodating and the food was absolutely over the top outstanding. I have never seen so much chicken in a a pot pie dish. am I entire life!!! thank you to the entire staff of the Black horse diner you have a fan for life!!!“

“I recently celebrated a milestone birthday with a dinner at Elwood with family and friends. Chef Adam and Jenny were wonderful to work with and the meal was absolutely delicious. Everyone loved the venison scrapple amuse bouche. We shared several orders of perogies and cheese platters to kick off the meal, followed by a couple of orders of the tri- tip beef, the sea bass, and the rabbit, which are served family style with a whole host of accompaniments, including exceptional mashed potato that got rave reviews and deserves it's own mention. Several of the diners had never had rabbit, but they all tried it and it was a hit! I already have plans to come with some friends for an afternoon tea, and my husband and I will definitely be back for dinner and/or one of the dining events that Chef Adam hosts. I drove from Glassboro to here and I was greeted with great professionalism, the atmosphere was amazing, and the music was perfect. Now as my first time coming in, I had no idea what was good but my waitress Josephine L. made fantastic recommendations! I had the Steak which was fantastic and the cocktail she suggested, Risky Business, was a perfect blend between sweet and sour! In short honesty (and very nerdy talk) I wanted to feel like Bruce Wayne tonight and the staff did a very fantastic job of making me feel like it! Will definitely be returning!“

“I love this place. They have some of the freshest distinct cocktail that I’ve seen that hasn’t been from a fancy spot or a speakeasy. They usually have a special and or some fresh fish. Backdoor pizza is also outback🤫. Only drawback is whenever me and my lady come in one female barkeep seems to purposely avoid greeting us or serving us. We sit at the bar and she’ll stay away like she playing defense for Manchester United and then when one of her co workers takes care of us she speak to any new patrons that come in and sit near us. Not sure what that could be but otherwise 5 ⭐️’s.“

“Me and My lady went here on a whim. I mean literally Caraba’s next door had over an hour wait and this place caught my eye. It was something different outside of our norm. So we went, the experience was amazing. The service was top notch, actually some of the best customer service I ever had. Was way beyond expectations, can’t say enough good things about Bree our server. She was quick, on top of things and had no problem explaining anything we wanted to know about the large variety of stuff they have on the menu and us never going there before. She talks to you and treats you like you are part of the family and she knows you,very friendly. Now for the food, again fast food but definitely better than expected. Very reasonably priced and good. Everything was fresh and good. The shakes were some the best we ever had. If I could give this place ten stars I would. Has an arcade and mini golf! What more could anyone ask for. Keep it up! Everyone there was friendly and wanted to be there. I told the host when we were walking out this place is excellent.
