“I recently celebrated a milestone birthday with a dinner at Elwood with family and friends. Chef Adam and Jenny were wonderful to work with and the meal was absolutely delicious. Everyone loved the venison scrapple amuse bouche. We shared several orders of perogies and cheese platters to kick off the meal, followed by a couple of orders of the tri- tip beef, the sea bass, and the rabbit, which are served family style with a whole host of accompaniments, including exceptional mashed potato that got rave reviews and deserves it's own mention. Several of the diners had never had rabbit, but they all tried it and it was a hit! I already have plans to come with some friends for an afternoon tea, and my husband and I will definitely be back for dinner and/or one of the dining events that Chef Adam hosts. I drove from Glassboro to here and I was greeted with great professionalism, the atmosphere was amazing, and the music was perfect. Now as my first time coming in, I had no idea what was good but my waitress Josephine L. made fantastic recommendations! I had the Steak which was fantastic and the cocktail she suggested, Risky Business, was a perfect blend between sweet and sour! “I love this place. They have some of the freshest distinct cocktail that I’ve seen that hasn’t been from a fancy spot or a speakeasy. They usually have a special and or some fresh fish. Backdoor pizza is also outback🤫. Only drawback is whenever me and my lady come in one female barkeep seems to purposely avoid greeting us or serving us. We sit at the bar and she’ll stay away like she playing defense for Manchester United and then when one of her co workers takes care of us she speak to any new patrons that come in and sit near us. Not sure what that could be but otherwise 5 ⭐️’s.“

Very reasonably priced and good. Everything was fresh and good. The shakes were some the best we ever had. If I could give this place ten stars I would. Has an arcade and mini golf! The only thing that wasn’t great was the NY stripe aged steak. I asked for it to be cooked medium rare but this was the worst chewy steak I ever had. I saved majority of it to see if I could fix it at home but no luck. Just not the best quality steak and was hoping it was due to grill being in the name. They only charged $8 bucks for that little dollop of butter on top of the steak. The best thing we had was the scallops they are to die for! They melt in your mouth and the flavor was fantastic. I would come again just wouldn’t get their steak again.“

When the kids were super load, she was quick to say it was ok and they were not bothering anyone. The ambiance was very inviting and the food was beyond delicious - plentiful portions.
