“We hosted my daughter’s birthday party in the back area of the play place. From reserving the room, to making sure it was clean, to the food, and kind service, this was a perfect spot. The kids had a great time, and it was perfectly easy for me as a parent.

“The food is good and made to order which is nice for fast food. We ordered a verity of items and each one was made perfectly and hot. My only issue with taco bell and most fast food locations now a days is the lack of human interactions. We needed to use a service screen which made it difficult since me and my party were planing on using rewards that don't have a way of being redeemed through the order screen.

Vegetarian options: They have a large vegetarian option almost everything can be made to be vegetarian which is great for vegetarian people.

Parking: There is two fast food locations in the same building and the drive thru lane is also in the same route to the parking spaces so keep in mind while you park your vehicle.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are plenty of wheelchair ramps all around the building.“

“Huge fan, I’ve never had a bad sandwich at Johnny Hot’s, until today 8/30/24. I was supposed to have just pork roll on a steak roll with spicy mustard, no egg and no cheese. The pork roll is usually cut very thin with a nice braise on it. It had egg & cheese on it. The egg & cheese were warm the meat was cool, no grill color to it. By the time I took the egg & cheese off there was hardly any pork roll, very disappointed. It was “no change” Friday, so I gave my apprentice 15 dollars for a sandwich I couldn’t even eat.“

The staff was genuinely so nice and respectful along with being quick and accurate with orders from the dining room, drive-thru and ones coming in thru Doordash. “I would more accurately rate this spot a 3.5 stars for FOOD. While the food was flavorful and tasty it was lacking in size. It didn't really hit me until I snapped a picture of the chicken finger next to a Louisiana hot sauce packet for reference, and it was barely much bigger. I felt cheated. Since when were chicken fingers so small! Other than that, service was a 5 and atmosphere was a 5 and well deserved. They were extremely friendly and even checked in with me on the floor to ask how everything was, and the staff removed my trash for me and I was impressed by that. Their drive through is set up almost exactly like a Chick-fil-A which seems to work out really well. They don't have much a diverse menu aside from the chicken tenders and fries, they only have a chicken sandwich which comes with lettuce no option for any other toppings such as onions or tomatoes but what they have seems to be decent (Portion size aside) Overall, I would come back but let's just say I had higher expectations and I won't be bragging about Canes anytime soon. “I went here because I heard they had decent gluten free rolls. But having a long day, I forgot to ask for the gluten free for my husband until it was all made. They saw the look on my face when I realized MY mistake and jumped to it said no problem and remade the sandwich with new gloves and utensils so there would be no cross contamination. I was going to Philly that weekend to visit my gf, so I had to get the sandwich and tell him it was amazing regardless. I'm trying to win his business.

We entered the bizarrely calm Reading terminal market, got in a short line, and ordered the beloved Roast Pork Sandwich. It was made up of Roasted Pork Shoulder, Broccoli Rabe, and onions.

Honestly it was pretty damn good, but it wasn't an "Oh my god..." on the first few bites good. Best sandwich in America I just can not get behind. However, it was voted the champ back in 2013. A lot can change in 10 years…

Regardless, I sent an email to the potential client with a picture of me CHEESIN and said "I can fully see why it was voted the best sandwich in America..."

I recommend the pork roll and cheese sandwich, fries and a Black Cow root beer float or the Black And White shake. Today I had a plain hot dog with yellow mustard and fries. Just Right!!! The burgers, cheesesteaks and chicken tenders, all good. The service was super fast and the food was just right.
