“This is Rocco's ! What's there to say ? As always nothing short of fast friendly and deliciously fabulous. Over 50 years family business. What's there to say besides fast, friendly and caring community icons. It's Rocco's steaks delicious fresh high quality and the Italian Hoagie is the absolute best I have ever had.( Well, actually have had repeatedly over and over and delicious every time ) I just cannot bring myself to get one from anywhere else. High quality fresh meats made correctly. They also serve many other foods and breakfast items at good prices. A popular neighborhood staple but if you don't live in the direct area definitely worth a little ride for take out. ♥️ They are take out and delivery but they do have a small counter seating and both that many like to frequent.“

“South Jersey Halal right across from the Rutgers campus is a local gem, I recommend trying it out for lunch or dinner. So far I have gotten the kebab gyro, lamb gyro, and combo lamb and chicken gyro.

I definitely recommend the lamb gyro and chicken gyro, both are amazing. Kebab gyro is definitely a lighter option and less filling, I didn’t like it quite as much.

I get everything on it with both hot and white sauce. For $9 with a drink included, it’s a steal, especially considering it is very filling with extremely generous portions.

They also have falafel, fish, and everything with an “over rice” option for those who are vegetarian or gluten free.“

“Definitely call ahead. Or you’ll be waiting for at least 20 minutes. They’re parked infront of a school and are usually open until like 11 pm if they are not sold out ofc. Chimis have been good every time. I’ve gotten the chicken Chimis. I’ve also had the yaroa, I do recommend.“
