I seem to have had better service than a lot of these reviews. My order was correct and made promptly. Only compliant is that my sandwich was absolutely drowned in dressing, which caused the bread to fall apart the second I started eating it.

I placed a delivery order for lunch but half my order was missing and the order half was messed up. I called and Natalia was able to help me, very thankful for her! She gave me the missing half of the order, a free pastry, and a refund. Wonderful customer service!!
The location was great and was only a few steps from my hotel. The place is clean and the staff was friendly. This store does not have any seating so the food will be strictly to-go. Overall and good experience.

Panera Bread on Broadway in Newark is a smaller location, mainly for order and pickup with no seating. The purchasing process is easy to navigate, though the space is small and can crowd quickly, and more kiosks might be helpful. Some customers have found everything to be fresh and delicious and have had quite a pleasant experience, noting that problems are solved very quick and efficiently by the management.
However, the quality and consistency have been really disappointing for others. Sandwiches have been extremely small and put together like a complete hot mess, looking rushed and poorly made. Items like arugula in a salad have been almost going bad, and portions are tiny. Orders are not always placed on the pickup rack, requiring customers to ask at the window, and staff do not always acknowledge waiting customers. Simple items like half-and-half for coffee are sometimes not available, and orders have been incorrect. While some root for the location and want to support it, these experiences make it hard to keep going back. The place has potential but needs more consistency, care, and attention to the basics.
