“I am gushing over the meal we had here. From amazing craft cocktails to an unforgettable dinner. Raphael, Julia, and Louis spoiled us. The cocktails were in fun glasses and were light and flavorful. The service was impeccable. We let them order for us. Octopus starter, then onto hanger steak, roasted chicken, sea bass, and the pork stew. All incredible with deep rich flavors. We had some great sides, a light salad to finish, and a lovely passion fruit desert. I can't say enough about this place.“

“I’ve eaten here two times. The ladies behind the bar are extremely friendly and attentive. The meals are tasty with generous portions. I’m not a huge fan of French fries, but these are so good and taste homemade! The salad was delicious and the garlic pork chops were excellent. My friend had grilled salmon and enjoyed it. The prices are affordable and they even have a $4 glass of house wine that they fill to the rim; you can’t beat it! My only complaint is that it is extremely warm in there. Other than that, I highly recommend.“

“Ate here with a group of co-workers (total of 8 people) after work on a Tuesday evening. It had a casual atmosphere. The food was excellent starting from the appetizers all the way down to the dessert! The calamari and the shrimp during the appetizer was on point. The sauce on the shrimp was great dipping for the bread. For the Entree the seafood pasta was fresh and a generous serving portion for 5-6 people alone in 1 serving. We also had the picadinho, which was my favorite- excellent... not too greasy! And had a good portion of salad with steak. Then we each had a serving of different desserts that we shared- flan, chocolate mousse, tiramisu, cheesecake, and some pudding.“

“The Food is Wonderful!
The atmosphere is intimate, but Great Vibes. (The venue has 2 levels; downstairs dining area and upstairs lounge area.)
They offer Hookah as well.
There is room for improvement however, as some of the staff in the dining area, don't speak English well, so they require assistance from other staff members when taking an order.
Wouldn't hurt if Drinks were a pinch stronger as well.
Overall, I enjoy myself everytime I visit.“

The food is always tasty, the attitude towards the visitors is helpful. I frequently visit this restaurant and I not even once was unsatisfied. I recommend it with no hesitation.“

“I recently moved to the Ironbound and needed to find myself a pizza place. Luckily, this place is only a few blocks from my apartment. It's not very big and doesn't seem to be popular for eat-in dining, but it is always busy with people getting take out. The pizza itself has rather thin crust and the sauce is great. I love their margherita pizza. If you eat there, be prepared to pay for drinks even if you get water. They only have bottled. The only down side is that because it's a small place and busy the service can be slow. Order in advance and then you can pick it up or have it delivered when you're ready to eat. Everything made to order, so be prepared to wait up to 10 minutes for a hot/fresh/delicious meal. In my opinion the 6 piece grilled tenders are the best value for your buck, definitely ask for a side of their white sauce, it's out of this world delicious!!. Food is a tad spicy, but nothing extraordinary, the spice level is fine for casual spice tolerance individuals like myself. All around great place to dine. “My husband loved his chopped chicken special. His pink lemonade was horrible. He referred to it as lemon water. I ordered the California Cheeseburger platter. All the toppings were a thicker cut except the onions they were shaved. The fries weren't hot. Overall, we're willing to try other menu items when we visit again.“

“I order 5 Star quite often, the food is good. The restaurant is cute but, and clean. What I do want to say is that if you order bbq and request bbq sauce you may not get it. Plenty times it has happened, i comfirm its in the bag, then you check the to go bag and they hand it to you. Not nice.

“Pulaski BBQ has a small menu and cheap eats for Ironbound standards. The pork ribs with yellow rice & fries was delicious. The seasoning and charcoal taste was amazing, the fries were crispy, however the rice is pretty bland. My server was excellent and the prices are very reasonable. This is one of my favorite spots in Ironbound and I would recommend that you check It out.“

“Love love love love love love love their barbecue! If you get the whole chicken or half a chicken with white rice and fries the rice is not dry!! You know like most places, you can't eat a whole mouth full of rice without choking on it from it being dry? WELL Five Star's rice is so moist that you could literally sit there and gobble down a whole bunch of rice and not have to worry about it being dry as hell and choking on it!!

Parking: It's on the corner of Adams and market so it's very hard to find parking especially if it's after work hours there is absolutely no freaking parking like you have to double Park on market and it's very dangerous to do that because everybody drives like crazy after they get out of work“

Drinks are way too expensive. The pricese are not listed on the menu One glass of Sangria $19.50. I was caught of guard with that one , imagine my surprise when I received my bill seeing that sangria was $39 for two glasses. Had I known that I would have just drank water and bought my own sangria for less at the local liquor store or went to a different bar. Also; there are a few things on the menu with no prices listed. Just ask for the price before ordering . I feel that the prices for the food such as lamb chops and seafoods are fair, but the drinks. Nope; Sorry not sorry. $19.50 for one glass of sangria is out right ridiculous and unnecessary. Other than the overpriced drink; everything else is good.“

“Did you know they have a super combo? That's right! Ribs! Chicken! Beef ribs! All for one low price?!! The ribs have been phenomenal lately. The fries have gotten way better too lately, less soggy! Ferry St has been dang good. Awesome lunch or dinner spot right in the beautiful Ironbound!“
