“Stopped in several times while biking along The Paulinskill Valley Trail and always a solid spot to stay hydrated along the trail. During my most recent visit, started off with a South Island Scoundrel – Hazy IPA - 6.0% (Brewed with Nelson Sauvin & Motueka hops, this IPA has tropical flavors with a smooth white wine essence all packed into a hazy juice bomb!) and finished with a Splatter Pattern – Double IPA - 7.5% (Artfully crafted with 5 hop varieties (Mosaic, Citra, Bru-1, Sabro, & Idaho 7), each sip creates a splatter of flavors: tropical citrus fruit, tangerine and dank pine blend together in a delightful pattern.)
Staff is always friendly and the locals are always welcoming as well.
While I cant fault them, wish they were open more during the week when I do a majority of my riding . Ive passed by this spot many times wishing they were open and realize id be probably be the only person there drinking beer on a Tuesday afternoon. Once again, no fault on there part but more of gripe that I cant drink there more often.
Ive yet to drive there and one day hope to bring back some of there beer. Unfortunately on a bike, its not a smart idea to carry a six pack along the trail.“

Atmosphere received a 3 star. The deli was very hot inside....I felt very bad for the employees that have to work without air conditioning. The heat also made me want to get out of the store sooner vs browsing around. I hope the owner makes appropriate changes for his employees and customers.“

“The number 1 best Chinese restaurant is right here. I’ve been eating here for the last 6 to 7 years and never any type of issues. The employees have changed over the years but they value customer satisfaction more than anything. They are always nice and respectful. Some don’t understand but they still handle customers much better than all restaurants in town.“

“What can we say? except we've been coming here for several decades and the new additions to the restaurant and the new view are amazing. the wood carving all around it makes it a very special place, but the most important part is the home crafted beers and the delicious food. I swear they could make this place double the size and it would still be packed by locals. that's when you know it's a great place! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟“
“I can’t say enough about the great staff and management at this place. Truly top notch, kind and helpful. We had an emergency and needed to get supplies unavailable anywhere nearby. The folks here went out of their way to help us and were unbelievable in their quality of service and fair pricing ! A+++++++++ !!!!! Whenever I am in the area I am going to stop by and buy ice cream or something from them, I will definitely be a loyal customer from this point forward. I wish every market/ice cream shop was as nice and helpful as Main Lake Market. Thanks for your help !!“

“I've been buying bagels here since I moved to the area in 1997. I can from Long Island where there were many bagel places. Nothing can compare to the Bagel Station, it is in it's own league. Parking can be difficult, but I try to go there when it's not peak times. Bagels are large, covered with seeds, taste great with nothing on them. If you're in the area, it's a must stop.“

“We ate at Black Forest Inn tonight. We did not realize a reservation was needed tonight as we are not in area. We were still accommodated by a friendly staff, service was very efficient, quick with refill with drinks. I love the decor of the restaurant. The experience is great. Food is amazingly. We did make reservations to return Dec 13 for the German Christmas event.“

“We recently hosted a retirement party here, and the experience exceeded all expectations. Michelle went completely above and beyond with the decorations. She asked about our theme and color scheme beforehand and incorporated them into every detail of the room. We actually brought our own decorations and ended up not using most of them because she had already done so much to make the space look beautiful and personalized.
The food was plentiful and absolutely delicious. Everything was presented with the elegance and attention to detail you'd expect at a high-end wedding rather than a typical party. Our guests were genuinely impressed.
The staff was incredibly attentive throughout the event, making sure everyone was taken care of. John behind the bar was especially welcoming and fun, creating unique and delicious drinks that our guests loved.
The private event room is fantastic, complete with its own bar and bathrooms, making it comfortable and convenient for guests. And the panoramic view of Lake Hopatcong is simply unbeatable.
I highly recommend this venue for any special event or function. The service, food, atmosphere, and attention to detail made our celebration truly memorable.“

“This place is AMAZING! Food is great. Staff is the friendliest people ever. I have been twice in two weeks because my kids requested to come back. I can’t recommend this place enough. Their prices are soooo reasonable. I couldn’t have made a charcuterie board with crappy shop rite cheese for this price, let alone the amazing cheese they use with the accoutrements. Will be back!“
