“My husband and I stopped in on our way to an event in the area based on reviews. It's a very small place with no indoor seating. However the service was friendly and quick and the chicken bao was very good. If we are ever back in the area, I would try more items from their menu.“

“I’m visiting NJ (lived here for a long time) and wanted to eat some of my favorite foods. I ordered dinner from port of peri peri and it was perfectly cooked but missing my fries. I let that be known to the restaurant and received a small refund. Next night, I ordered dinner again and I received a large order of fries on the house as well as a discount card for 5% for dine in orders valid for one more week. Amazing customer service. If I were in NJ longer, I would surely order again! The food is absolutely delicious 😋“

“So I’ve always heard about Dave’s but never been till today, first off the service I received was beyond exceptional Dylan M took my order not only did he service with a smile he took time to figure out what I like and suggested what I should get and he was right it did not disappoint I also received my order from Angel H who also provided me and my friend service with a smile he told us how to mix are sauce for the best flavor. “The chicken is really good! The honey garlic sauce is perfectly sweet and garlicky and the plain chicken is seasoned very well. The skin has an aesthetic crunch and isn't soggy on the plain but the sauce does make the skin on the honey garlic chickens a bit soggy. I ordered a whole chicken and the chicken breasts were quite dry but the drums were perfect and juice was spilling out when I took a bite. I would give the place a 5 if it weren't for the dryness of the chicken and sogginess. Overall the chicken is extremely good compared to other chicken joints and I would still give this place a try.“

Didn’t really like how the chicken tasted and the color looks very light. Not sure how to describe it but the chicken tasted “dirty”as if it wasn’t washed well. Would’ve been better if it was fried chicken.“

“Overall I had a good experience. The Chinatown broccolini was the highlight for me — fresh, healthy ingredients with a nice kick, definitely something I’d come back for. The tenders themselves were hot and moist, made with prime cuts of chicken breast. I would have appreciated a bit more seasoning in the batter, but I can see how that might be intentional to let the sauces shine and appeal to different palates. I didn’t love the truffle mac and cheese — I personally prefer a sharper cheddar and egg-based style — but the portion sizes overall were satisfying. The staff was very friendly and polite, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting for a casual bite. Ordering at the kiosk was convenient, though I do wish there was a bathroom on-site. Not fully convinced about the value for price given a couple of these factors, but I’d still return, especially for that broccolini.“

Outstanding. The chicken stripe and sandwiches. The fried pickles were the best I've ever had. Dip them in maple syrup and thank me later. Fried cauliflower good too. The Mac n cheese has good cheese and live the noodles used. The plain house pickles are good too. Natalie was a great worker. She held it down. The banana pudding shake was beyond amazing. Liked the salted caramel too.“
