“What a great experience we had at this place, fantastic authentic brazilian food, very tasty and good portions. Special kudos for Dino, amazing customer experience, I wish all the restaurants in NYC could learn how to treat people like he did with us. Great job and place!“
“This place is on the intimate side, which I didn’t like completely. The food was good here! I recommend the French toast and the fried chicken. My friend ordered a medium steak and it was way too chewy but it was good she said. Cocktails were also good. The waiter was very helpful and friendly. I would go back again!“
“I got a bad heart but this Brazilian steakhouse was worth the fall off the wagon! Started out with a Brazilian cocktail that was delicious with passion fruit. They bring you some hot bread that was awesome. Then there is the salad bar which had lots of stuff on it. Fresh fruit, lots of salads , meats and soups ( I went there 2 times) Once the meat starts flying it was over!!!! I had the best lamb chops I ever had! The beef ribs melted in my mouth. The filet million was incredible. Service was outstanding. I have Brazilian friends that say this is the best in the city!!“
“Amazing experience every time I come here, today Luis Carlos came through with the extra cheese and honey omg delicious.. lol our Waiter Jorge very kind and attentive to our needs. Overall beautiful experience never a dull moment here at Fogo de Chão! HIGHLY recommend“
“This place is without a doubt the best steakhouse, the place is beautiful ? it has a wall full of wines and the house wine is delicious! The food is wonderful and the portions are perfect, my husband invited me to this restaurant to celebrate Women's Day and it was undoubtedly the perfect choice! The waiters and service were excellent, a good place for all occasions! I will be back“
“Great Brazilian delicious food and drinks in midtown. Loved the yucca, picanha and chicken. Also amazing mousse de maracujá. (Passion fruit mousse- you must try it!)My two misses: the pão de Queijo wasn’t as flavorful (perhaps not enough cheese?), and they no longer serve the Frango a passarinho.Drinks were awesome too, and the prices are very reasonable. Will def come back.“
“The açaí bowls remind me of how açaí should taste and how it used to taste before it became overly commercialized. The staff is always friendly. The space is very clean. The paninis are so good! When I work in Manhattan, I miss my Astoria location. I'm glad they moved in.“
“Everything was incredible, wonderful and personalized service. Everyone treated us very well. Bruna made delicious drinks (bartender), impeccable food and perfect service from the staff Edmundo, Leonardo, Ronaldo and Marcondes ❤️ delighted with this service ❤️“
“This was a very neat cafe that focused on Brazilian flavors. I will say I thought the food may have over shadowed the beverages but I also don't drink coffee so don't hang on my word there. I got a matcha latte I've had better but obviously I don't think that's what this place specializes in so I think it can be forgiven. I had the a croissant sandwich and my lady had these prosciutto sandwiches (sorry I don't know the exact names) they we're both outstanding albiet maybe on the pricey side but you're in the seaport district so it's to be expected.“
“Very good but my main advice is don't go overboard on whatever meats they have on the buffet. Behind a counter they got a whole smoking setup with absolutely tons of meat. Loved it, loved it, LOVED IT but i ended up biting off more than i could chew, literally.“
“As a Brazilian, this place is legit. Not only the food was on point--the coxinha was fantastic, one of the rare few that really hit the spot in the city--the place is very homey, vibes are right, and service was SUPER friendly and attentive. Waitress Alaiana (espero que eu tenha lembrado o nome certo!) went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We'll be coming back more often!!“
“Came here for Valentines Day with my family- 2 adults and 3 kids. Great atmosphere and loved the decor. The staff was very friendly and very attentive. The food was the best, we started with some appetizers and for our main dish we had the churrasco and the rib dish. My kids devoured their plates. We will definitely be coming back and I definitely recommend this place. Very kid friendly as well.“
“Me, my friend and Don came here after a long weekend in the city. This was an amazing place to slow down rest and eat amazing food. I loved the chicken with cream and hearts of palm. I believe it's calledFRANGO AO MOLHO DE PALMITO EN BREASt. I learned how to make it I enjoyed it so much. Thank you for a nice “
“I haven’t had food from them for a few years, but after moving back I tried them again, this time at their new (to me) take out window. The pao de queijo was great! As was the coxinha and flan. I would have appreciated a menu on paper so it would have been easier for me to point to what I wanted since I’m really bad with Portuguese. I wanted to order more but I think it got lost in translation“
“This place get packed easily due to the good and tasty food they provide.Amazing to see the big selection they have for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I believe they are the only one that offers a self service buffet breakfast. If you have been there for breakfast yet you missing out.A family business that have been in Astoria for years serving the community and making us Brazilian happy.“
“Been coming here for over 10 years, and although this place has changed in prices, staff, and overall improved with the times, the food still remains excellent. Our waitress, Isvely, was always attentive of our table and asking if we needed anything else. Very fast, efficient, and elegant! Our server for the night, Johnny M along with another gentlemen, were incredible and had us popping the button on our pants and loosening the belts within 20 minutes. So many different meats, chicken, and of course the pineapple! 5/5 place, would recommend coming here every year.Kid-friendliness: Offered the baby seat for our 4 year old, but she declined as she’s a “big girl now”.“
“Came around opening on a Thursday and there was nobody at the restaurant, but it got much busier as the night progressed. The restaurant accommodates both small and large groups and seems to be a great date spot. They have happy hour with some drinks and small appetizers – we got the chicken wings (tastes OK) but felt like we could have skipped it. They have a large menu selection but we opted for the pork belly ssam (available Thu-Sun), kimichi fried rice and the picanha fatiada (steak). All of the food was decent, but nothing great enough for me to want to come back. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful though, so if you want a place with great service and vibes, this would be the spot.“
“Thinking about eating a good pizza, ? then let's go to Theodoro Pizza, Brazilian dough and filling, service and a clean and safe environment, live music on special days, it's worth checking out... I loved it.Vegetarian options: specialty of the houseParking: super easy to find your spot...“
“Nossa que delícia! The buffet is full of fresh options with variety. Super healthy and flavorful food. They had mousse de Maracuja—my favorite!! The mandioca was nice and crispy. Just perfection. The farinha was delicious. Customer service was great and the place was so clean. I’ll be coming back to sit down soon. A hidden gem!! I feel like I’m back in Brazil!“
“Live music was phenomenal!!! Didn't know there would be room for dancing. The oven was not working the night we went and so the menu was limited. Nonetheless, the fried chicken pieces were delicious. So was the shrimp dish. I would go back just to give it a full menu try.“
“Very good attention and service provided by the manager and the waitress Karla. The quality of the meat is excellent and very reasonably priced, the mains and sides are great. It was the first time I went and without a doubt it will not be the last.“
“Recently had the pleasure of dining at this Brazilian buffet where you pay by the weight, a concept that truly sets it apart. The standout dish for me was the five-flower pork, which was absolutely delicious, succulent, and seasoned to perfection. What caught my attention the most was the extremely fair pricing, making it an excellent value for money, especially given the quality of food on offer. The authenticity of the flavors is unquestionable, and knowing that the owner hails from Brazil adds that touch of genuineness to the whole experience.I left the restaurant with a mental note to return soon, especially to delve into their dessert offerings. This is a must-visit for anyone looking for bona fide Brazilian flavors without breaking the bank. Highly recommended!“
“At Fogo de Chao in Paramus, the meat selection is truly exceptional. From perfectly seasoned sirloin to mouthwatering lamb chops, every cut is expertly prepared and cooked to perfection. The servers skillfully carve the meats tableside, ensuring each guest receives their preferred doneness. The variety is impressive, catering to every carnivore's taste buds with options like tender filet mignon, juicy ribeye, and flavorful Beef ribs. Whether you're a steak aficionado or simply love indulging in high-quality meats, Fogo de Chao in Paramus is guaranteed to satisfy your cravings.“
“We ate there for my moms birthday and the attentiveness of the servers was great. Our drinks were never empty and the staff really worked to ensure we had everything we needed, which was no small feat with a party of 11. The food was cooked perfectly and the paella, cabrito, and sword fish were phenomenal. Would definitely recommend.“
“The service was fast and friendly, the ambient was clean and very nice, and the food was traditional and tasted amazing. I was visiting NYC and decided to try this place since I was missing some food from back home, and it was just what I needed to kill my cravings. I tried their pao de queijo, pastel, coxinha, brigadeiro, and caipirinha. I look forward to my next visit!“
“Love coming here for lunch, fresh meats from the rotisserie cut on sight to your choosing. The prices are reasonable as the food is set up in a buffet style where you pay per pound. I spent 30$ including a drink, highly recommend the top sirloin, unbeatable in flavor. May have to wait til 12 if you come at opening time and prefer well done, I had mine at medium. I love their potato salad, maduros, and spinach lasagna. They have fresh fruits and salads as well. The atmosphere is casual and cozy and not pretentious or uncomfortable, so I enjoy dining in. Great place to go to and close to subway.“
“I tried this place at the Bryant Park Winter Village. I had the chicken coxinha, it was so good! It brought a sauce that took the dish to another level. Now that I’ve seen there are multiple locations here in Brooklyn definitely visiting. The starts for atmosphere were because the winter village was crowded insanely! I’ve tried this dish before from an authentic Brazilian home, and the ones I tried here lived up to it. You should give it a try!“
“Amazing Brazilian restaurant ?..Top quality + Best customer service + No stress for parking in the heart of Astoria community ? .. Also we can shop in the supermarket right beside the restaurant where we find good Brazilian products and medicines from Rain forest ? ..So , I strongly recommend for anyone who is interested to know more about Brazilian culture ???? ❤️?? ..Sincerely,Renato & Nina ? ..Vegetarian options: All kinds of vegetables, fish , basmati rice , soup and juices ?? ..“
“Sensational Brandon's attention, incredible how he takes control of the table in charge, the great atmosphere, the delicious food, the only thing is that the chicken did taste different and out of 4 people there was only 1 game that was served super dry, nothing fresh! The most super good!! Brandon 5⭐️“
