“I Love this place! Ever since moving to the area this has been my go to for a quick & always delicious, satisfying meal. Chicken cutlets are homemade & particularly good. It’s a cozy , decidedly & charmingly old- fashioned grill/ eatery reminiscent of bygone jersey days.It’s a vibe all it’s own.“

“My wife and I have dined at the Saddle River Inn many times. The food and service is outstanding. Last night we had crab cake and agnolotti with white truffle cream sauce as appetizers. They were both delicious! I enjoyed the Long Island Duck with lo mein, bok choy, shiitake, scallion, crispy rice, orange hoisin sauce as my entre'e. My wife had a pork chop filet special. While she enjoyed the combination of flavors in the dish, the pork was very "chewy". When she mentioned it to our server, he said that he was aware of it. He said that it was a new dish and had to be "tweaked". He offered to replace her meal but she declined. We shared strawberry cheese cake for desert, which was excellent. Without asking, the cost of my wife's entree was taken off our bill. We were pleasantly surprised by this gracious gesture, and plan to be back soon.“

“The outback steak house is one of our favorite places to go. We love the Walk About Wednesday Special- but even more so, we love our favorite server, Victoria. She is so kind. She is really sweet. “Nice little gem for brunch in the neighborhood few minutes drive from the Home Depot. A cute tiny house with parking all round it. Inside is cozy and the waitresses were super friendly and helpful despite how busy this place is. The food is great. They are not kidding when they said the corn hash was homemade, you know it is definitely not from a can. Everything just blended very well together. The rye bread that it comes with is also excellent (or maybe it's the salted butter they put on it). The Taylor ham egg and cheese sandwich was hot and fresh. My 5 year old would have eaten them whole thing if we did not order the fries. It is so fairly priced. The fries were $3.50, to put in perspective, a large fries from McDonald's costs $3.99. Our bill was about $30 with 2 coffees which they refilled several times. One of the best places for breakfast food, this place is a real deal.“

“I was in the area for a doctor's appointment and wanted to pick up some brekkie. I found Bagel Nosh close by. It was a Tuesday at around 9 am. I called ahead for pick up and my order was ready in less than 10 minutes, and piping hot. I ordered a sausage and cheese on a toasted everything wheat bagel, which hit the spot.l. Some places will only give you one sausage patty even when you don't order it with egg but this one came with two. The bagel itself was pretty good and they have more options than most places. It's a pretty heavy/greasy brekkie but you get a bang for your buck here, and it's nice for a once in a while treat.“

The service is great - the owner is welcoming (even once escorted our toddler to the c-store next door to buy some candy) and all the wait staff is great, especially Jason who is incredibly kind. Food is excellent quality and fairly priced for how good it is. Pastas are cooked perfect al dente. Great meat dishes especially the pork chop french cut. The desserts are quite good as well - love the coconut cake. Because it's not huge it isn't quiet but we've never found it to be uncomfortably loud and it has a great ambience.“

“Before I went back to college after spring break, me and my family took a stop at the Colonial Diner to get some food for diner, driving into the parking lot and getting seated pretty quickly. There were a good amount of other people in the diner, so getting a seat quickly was nice. Service wasn't anything special, but I don't really mind.The atmosphere of the diner is great, a very retro feel like it just came out of the early to mid 1900s. It was a cozy vibe. We got the 21 shrimp, breakfast burger, french toast, and some fish that was a special- sorry for forgetting the name. Really liked my breakfast burger and my sister's french toast. The shrimp was pretty basic though, and I think the fish could've been seasoned a bit better (it still tasted good!).Overall a pretty good place to drop into if you're looking for an affordable bite with a nice vibe.“

The service is excellent, and the staff is friendly and efficient. Robert personally attends to his guests to ensure everything is going well. We got two half box orders of boneless thighs (original crispy and soy garlic/sweet & spicy), fries, and water. The chicken took about 15-20 minutes to cook, but it was well worth the wait. My son (the pickiest eater in the world) LOVED the boneless thighs, and even the French fries. I thought everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The flavors were all fantastic, with the soy garlic being my favorite. The fries were also some of the best fries I've ever had. Super crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. The food also came with Cole slaw which was DELICIOUS, and I say this as someone who normally strays away from Cole slaw.Customer service was excellent. The woman at the front was very friendly and clear with describing the food. Their presentation was top notch also. The food was packaged beautifully and even the bag it came in was just really well designed. It was like opening a holiday gift of delicious food. I would highly recommend paying this place a visit, although you'll probably have to do take out since they have limited seating. That's probably the only downside I can think of, but they still deserve 5 stars overall“

“My partner and I love ordering from here. We live in the neighborhood and it’s so convenient to have a place like this we can walk to for something delicious at a great price. I don’t think you could go wrong ordering anything off their menu; their pizza is the perfect Jersey pizza, their burritos are huge and taste SO fresh, and their cheeseburgers are like In N Out but WAY better quality. “When my 5 yr old wants hot dogs randomly i thought of hanks franks from passing by so many times. Why not try it? You get a mom and pop feel. We ordered 2 dogs 1 with ketchup and 1 with cheese and cheesy fries. I have a gluten sensitivity so I took a small bite of the dog and it's great even my lil Eva ate all her fries and the rest of the hot dog. I would definitely go back!“
