“I love their happy hour that starts at noon as well as their beer selection but allow me to say this about their outside seating service: it is dam near nonexistent except for a tall beautiful black woman from a few months back and a young man named Norie who served me last week. These two people were the ONLY ones that were attentive to me in all the times I sat outside to drink. I was actually surprised how much Norie checked in with me, because aside from him and the aforementioned, I was often treated as an afterthought. Very often i would even go inside to the bar myself to get my own refills!
Again, they have a fabulous happy hour and i do like the out of the way location with my bus stop across the street. The food is decent if a little overpriced for bar food but at least its not as bad as The Bronx Public. Again, if you sit outside then hopefully your assigned server is Norie!“

“I went with a group of friends for my birthday last night. It was AMAZING. The service was great, everyone was so friendly. The place itself was so clean and cute, really cool vibe. The Apps were great, Hush Puppies and Fried Calamari, yum. I did a make-your-own Seafood Boil. OH MY GOD. The New Zealand Mussels, King Crab and Dungeness Crab was out of this world in the Cajun Butter Sauce. I HIGHLY recommend this spot and will be going back.“

“It is hard to believe to have this old school Irish bar in the city. The warm cozy ambience is amazing. Joe is nicely communicative. I don't know how to call him correctly - a bartender or mixologist because my cocktail and my friend's mocktail were on fire. We told him what we wanted and he made them perfectly, no disappointment. “Very nice place, our waitress was super friendly with cute Irish accent. The menu does not have many Irish items but we could find two (Shepherd's pie and Irish breakfast) that tasted very good. “The Tapp is the quintessential local bar. The staff are very friendly, the burgers are phenomenal (as is everything else on the menu), and the prices are more than reasonable. If you find yourself in Tarrytown for shopping or seeing a show at The Music Hall, make a stop at The Tapp a part of the experience. Better still, make the trip just to visit The Tapp alone. It really is a great place to hang out with friends, catch a singer, play Tuesday Night Trivia, or have a terrific meal.“

“We decided to return to this lounge for the second time because we enjoyed the first visit.This visit different but mostly fun nonetheless.We sat for maybe 5-10 minutes because the bartender finished her conversation to attend to us.During those 5-10 minutes we enjoyed the Karaoke that was two rum punches which was a whopping $30.That threw me off a bit because on our first visit we order 6 drinks total for $50.Anyway, the rum punches were good, one was STRONG, the other was sweet but you could still taste the liquor.We were then greeted by a second bartender who was more pleasant than the first and more welcoming.She asked questions and checked on us to make sure we were okay.The dj was good but you can tell he’s old school which is fine because the car attracts crowds off all ages.The regulars there participating in the karaoke had great voices, especially the men.I asked about a food menu but was told that the kitchen was closed, this was about 11:30pm Friday night.They recommended a food truck that was parked next to the building that was affiliated with the lounge.The bathroom was very clean and well kept.

The neighborhood is very close and familiar with each other so Fenwicks is where everyone goes to hang out. If you are looking to have a good time and have some good quality drinks, Fenwicks is the right place to go. By the way, you need to try Fenwicks’ wings, they are AMAZING! Plus they are air fried for the healthy peeps. I definitely recommend Fenwicks as the best bar in the Bronx!!“
