“Lovely dinner to celebrate wife's birthday , our 4 year old daughter accompanied us as well and the staff was great to them both ! I believe we walked in during prime time for happy hour and it was a bit a of a Red Sea to part to find our way in. Other than that our experience was amazing and I would highly recommend Tredici to colleagues. Make sure to check the special menu for better and more appetizer options ! We did the baked clams , pumpkin ravioli and steak frites. Wish the wife would have wanted mussels, but the clams were good, just tiny. Steal frites was great well cooked to medium. She devoured the pumpkin ravioli , like if we weren't in such a nice establishment she may have licked the plate ! lol“

Mozzarella sticks were frozen, Cajun fries, a handful of paprika drowned over the top Today beer that's normally $6 was $8 plus a $4 tip, tax and looking for another tip. Bill should have been $20 it's $30. Live with your wn failure. Don't put it on the customers. Pretty bartenders won't cover incompetence.“

“In one sentence, Rough Draft is truly a “place to come in from the cold”. This place makes me want to write a book.

Easily some of the coziest and warmest vibes and aesthetics I’ve see in a bar in a long, long time. Very reasonable prices (plus a nice happy hour) and it really feels so classy and chic, yet not without heart and character. It’s a beautiful space with grand wall-length windows that look particularly whimsical with the bit of snow and frost left over from last night. The Christmas decorations in particular are very lovely. It’s in a beautiful part of the neighborhood, too! I love to see Hamilton Place growing like this.

The cask ale is such a fun touch, too - and they’ve got a very intentional and strong selection of draft beers, whiskeys, bourbons, and more. Great service and chill staff.

All in all, I think this makes a strong case to be one of my favorite bars in the city. I’ve only taken a few sips of my beer and felt compelled to write this. I only hope this place thrives like it deserves to as a member of the outstanding Uptown Bar community!“

“The food and service was excellent. All three of us had the salmon BLT. A plus that it's on multigrain toast. They served the mayo on the side so it wasn't slathered too heavily and the side chips were great, not greasy or salty. I substituted a salad for the chips and it was generous and fresh. Our server was friendly, efficient and had a sense of humor. We had a great time and will be back.“

The decor in this cozy bar is amazing with couches and a fireplace in the back, giving an old Irish bar feel with a modern twist, which I loved. The bartenders were amazing, drinks were balanced and very well made and affordable at only $8 for select cocktails and even less for bar snacks.

The music gave throwback vibes which created a more intimate experience for couples who are looking to come here.

Head's up, although the food is air fried, I wouldn't have been able to tell if it wasn't told to me by the bartender, it was so good! I ordered waffle fries and the Philly egg-roll which was so delicious and crispy. Service was great and bartenders were friendly even though we came on a busy night. Great experience 10/10.“

“I went with a group of friends for my birthday last night. It was AMAZING. The service was great, everyone was so friendly. The place itself was so clean and cute, really cool vibe. The Apps were great, Hush Puppies and Fried Calamari, yum. I did a make-your-own Seafood Boil. OH MY GOD. The New Zealand Mussels, King Crab and Dungeness Crab was out of this world in the Cajun Butter Sauce. I HIGHLY recommend this spot and will be going back.“

“The Snug and City Island Diner are true local treasures. They’re owned by the same wonderful people and share a kitchen, but each has its own vibe and hours — and together they’re unbeatable.

The fully loaded chili here is hands-down the best I’ve ever had. It’s rich, hearty, perfectly seasoned, and also shows up in their nachos, which makes them next-level comfort food.

One of my favorite things? They have a secret menu (no longer advertised) with specialty grilled cheese sandwiches and specialty hot dogs — and we absolutely love it. The Tuscan Melt (no onion) is perfection, and the Reuben Dog is unforgettable. With the hot dogs you get two, and you can mix and match styles, which is such a fun and generous touch.

At The Snug, my go-to drink is a black & tan, which pairs perfectly with the cozy, neighborhood pub feel. Over at the diner, my favorite dish is the Corned Beef Hash breakfast — classic, satisfying, and done exactly right.

Beyond the food, what really sets these places apart is the people. Every server is genuinely kind, welcoming, and deeply plugged into the City Island community. You feel like a regular even on your first visit.
