“Chat American Grill is one of my go-to restaurants in Scarsdale. I’ve been here many times with family, and everything I’ve tried so far has been consistently good. Their salmon burger is one of my favorites, and the truffle fries are honestly some of the best I’ve had at any restaurant. During brunch, I love getting the crab meat omelet — it comes with greens and oven-roasted potatoes, and it never disappoints.

The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the whole place has a nice, slightly upscale feel without being too formal. They also have a great outdoor seating area that’s perfect in the summer. Reservations are definitely recommended, especially during peak times. Parking in the area is usually pretty manageable.

Overall, Chat is a solid choice for good food, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere. I keep going back for a reason.“

“As soon as I walk in, I got automatically seated at the bar by the host and Megan, my bartender gave me the menu (dinner and happy hour) with her warming customer service hospitality.

The interior of the bar is so dope with the neon light with television for sports. They also have a DJ booth for music. I will recommend people to check this place and enjoy their time in the scenery!“

“I’ve known this crew since their days at Perdition in Hell’s Kitchen, and walking into their new spot felt like no time had passed at all—in the best way possible.

“A really solid place where the food was good, I really liked the burger, make sure you add the fried egg as it elevated the burger to another level.

The lollipop wings were something I never had in that form, it was cool and made for a much cleaner bite. I do wish it had a better crunch with the reduced surface area.

Dessert I tried their Krispy Kreme bread pudding topped with ice cream which was really good. That stood out being so different than what you normally will find at any other restaurant and I'd highly recommend it.

Overall this is a very solid local spot to visit where it has both a bar atmosphere on one side, and a sit down restaurant where you can bring the family on the other.“

“Came here on a whim during happy hour, and so glad I did. The decor in this cozy bar is amazing with couches and a fireplace in the back, giving an old Irish bar feel with a modern twist, which I loved. The bartenders were amazing, drinks were balanced and very well made and affordable at only $8 for select cocktails and even less for bar snacks.

The music gave throwback vibes which created a more intimate experience for couples who are looking to come here.

Head's up, although the food is air fried, I wouldn't have been able to tell if it wasn't told to me by the bartender, it was so good! I ordered waffle fries and the Philly egg-roll which was so delicious and crispy. Service was great and bartenders were friendly even though we came on a busy night. Great experience 10/10.“

“This place was down the street from my daughter's house where I was visiting and I had the pleasure of going there several times while in town for the New York Knicks parade! What an awesome atmosphere! Robert, the bartender was so inviting, and even though he had a lot going on with so many other customers, he seemed to handle everything with a smile and enthusiasm! No the manager Chelsea truly helped me to have a great experience and literally knew, my name upon my second visit, which made me feel at home! She also immediately exchanged my food order because I had a slight complaint about the fish tacos without blinking an eye! I will say that the 9% IPA (Unibroue La Fin Du Monde) suggested by Robert what's truly on point and my beer of choice going forward! I also had the medium bone in carolina barbecue and pineapple teriyaki chicken wings with their onion rings, and it was to die for! Then, the next day I had there habanero wings and took those back with me to Tampa, Florida! I am originally from New York City and it's people like Chelsea, Miles, Gabriel and Robert that make me proud to be a New Yorker because of their outstanding service and attention to detail and willingness to put a smile on people's face and also make their taste buds happy! “Stopped in on St. Patrick's day for dinner. Took a little time for a table but not bad. Place was packed, live band playing. Band took a break for a Celtic dance group to put on a show. As packed as it was it still was a reasonable time for service. Potato and bacon soup and a grilled cheese burger was great. Will definitely be back again.“

“Beautiful Venezuelan restaurant in New Rochelle with an amazing atmosphere, live band on Saturday nights, and a super Instagram worthy aesthetic. We came with our 5 year old and had a great experience.

Drinks were around $16, apps ranged from $5–20, and the $60 mixed grill was absolutely worth it. As a mixologist, I loved the passion fruit and classic mojitos. Very authentic, fresh, and served with a flower.

If you find yourself in Tarrytown for shopping or seeing a show at The Music Hall, make a stop at The Tapp a part of the experience. Better still, make the trip just to visit The Tapp alone. It really is a great place to hang out with friends, catch a singer, play Tuesday Night Trivia, or have a terrific meal.“
