“This place is, with out a doubt, the best Acai/Chia pudding place I have ever been to. On top of that, the chia pudding recipe tis shop is using is something distinctly different from other chia pudding I've had. It's blue, and tastes far more awesome than normal chia pudding.I accidentally discovered this little shop while visiting a friend near Montclair. I live in NYC - caught a train to Montclair Bay St station, and wandered up the block from there looking for some treats to share with friends.Jackpot.I don't live near Montclair, and this location is not convenient to me. However, I now go out of my way to visit this shop whenever I'm passing through the nearby train line.Worth it.If you (please) bring boomchia to downtown Brooklyn, I would eat there everyday. “Service was friendly and good overall. I have always been a frequent flyer to the Kung Fu Tea kingdom and this location will be no exception. My favorite tea is and always has been the Taro milk tea with grass jelly. They have a few board games and it is an inviting vibe. My adult children get everything from Passion Fruit and Green Tea. Sometimes the slushy type of drinks. It's always pretty good and I believe it is up to par with the Montclair location.“

And the outdoor seating, plants and flowers, and park across the street is perfect. Eating here makes me feel good. My faves are the green goddess salad, the black bean wrap, California wrap, and the Moroccan lentil and the cauliflower chickpea curry. We got there vegan version of a Philly Cheesesteak and a Blt and being from philly this could be blasphemous but it was very tasty and much better then some steak sandwiches i had in philly. We both enjoyed them very much and they give you a side Mac and cheese or potatoes salad and kale with a really tasty vinagarette. Very enjoyable dinner. Just no there is no dining inside so we took it to go.“

Service is friendly, juices are fresh and healthy, the menu is incredibly diverse. Although space is limited, it's definitely not cramped. If you're driving, looking for parking in the surrounding area shouldn't be that bad, just don't double park directly out front, this part of Park Avenue is incredibly active. “At last minute on labor day weekend we was searching lunch and dinner catering for our Wearhouse staff where we found this place on google. with in two hour they have provide lunch sandwiches, beverage & chips for our 175 afternoon staff and they also provide dinner for our 150 evening staff. all there sandwiches was made with fresh sliced meat and cheese and fresh veggies.....we definitely order again from this place....we thank them for taking care of us at last minute....thank you so much...“

The service is awful though. Guy at the counter had no greeting, just played on his phone. Didn't use gloves when he handled my food (people use their phones while on the toilette so would been nice to use gloves or wash hands). He didn't say thank you, just handed it to me in cold silence. My advice would be to hire someone who can at least pretend that they want to be there and act like they appreciate your business. “You may think this is a divey diner but, no, it is certainly not. It’s a cute and cozy spot with good food. They have a number of Mediterranean dishes which was lovely to behold. I had a side order of hummus which was clearly homemade and it was a generous portion. So much so that I had to take my tuna sandwich to go. Even the sandwich was enough for two people. The smoothies looked yummy, as I saw many customers ordering them. Next time! There about 8 small tables so it may be tough to find a seat; however I was able to get one for just me. You did need to order food at the register but they will bring your order to your table. Also everything was surprisingly affordable for upper Montclair.“

“I tried takeout from Lovin' Today, and I was pleasantly surprised. I've never tried vegan chorizo before, so I was kind of worried about whether I'd like it or not. It actually still had the same kind of spice of regular chorizo. To be honest, I didn't seem to notice that much of a difference between this vegan chorizo and regular chorizo. And they gave a lot of it in the taco as well, so I was happy with that. I also got brown rice as a side. It was a hearty portion size of rice. I got vegan naan bread, which tasted delicious and exactly like regular naan bread. I also loved that they sealed the boxes with tape with a drawn heart on it. It's a small detail, but it shows there was care put into putting my meal together. Overall, i was happy with my meal, and I would definitely order from them again.“

“My only complaint is that the lone worker today, when I was paying with a credit card (without tap) took my card and tried to use tap. Before she took my card I was going to put it into the card processor. When I pointed out that it doesn’t have tap, she (2x’s) typed my card information into the register screen and it was declined (plenty of credit was available because I got gas with it shortly after). I then used my debit card which she just took from me and again tried to use tap (again not a feature on that card either). She was finally able to put my card information for the debit card and it went through. If she had let me put my card in in the first place there would have been no problem with the original transaction attempt. I feel some of the staff might need better/more training on using the register.“

The restaurant is very clean and organized as it is a new restaurant in Newark. The food is fresh and delicious. My favorite in particular there is the walnut shrimp, a creamy sauce covered over delicious shrimp. I’m generally not a fan of bubble tea but this place has changed my mind with the awesome Crème Brûlée Boba Tea! Great place to eat!“

Their dinner plates are large, but you can eat it all and not feel the slightest bit sluggish. Loyal customer base. I have to try their smoothies.
