“We went to McKenna’s Pub to get drinks and play pool for my daughter’s birthday today. It was really a great experience and I’m so glad we found it!! The bartender Billy was so welcoming and went above and beyond for us. The other guests were also very friendly and the atmosphere was wonderful. Even though I lost at pool, McKenna’s Pub will definitely be a go to for us in the future!!“

“This place is truly one of the best parts of Rockaway. I work at the doctor's office up the street from it and we order take out a lot. They serve all the classic bar favorites to perfection! The juicy burgers are fresh and absolutely fantastic...and OMG the cheesesteak is AWESOME!!!!! But what really makes this place standout are the people behind all of it. Bridgett, the owner, is genuinely one of the loveliest and most accommodating people you'll ever meet. She goes out of her way to make everyone feel welcome, and you can tell that she puts her heart into the place. She will personally deliver our food to our office every single time because we are so busy. And Myles deserves a huge shout-out. That man can cook a burger like nobody else, and the cheesesteak he puts out is honestly next-level! You can taste the care and skill in every bite of it. It's disappointing to see a few unfair reviews floating around, because they don't reflect the real experience here. Great food, great atmosphere, and truly GREAT people. The Mill deserves all the support in the world!“

“Wasn't sure where to go to watch the game... looked this up and saw it was in the bowling alley, thought why not let's see. Very solid spot! They have high end craft beers on tap and the food was more than serviceable. Will be back.“

“What can we say? except we've been coming here for several decades and the new additions to the restaurant and the new view are amazing. the wood carving all around it makes it a very special place, but the most important part is the home crafted beers and the delicious food. “OK let's start this off proper we walked in and place was cozy clean and quite nice like strong Irish pub feel .we were greeted buy the most friendly man named evan wich happened to also be our server. He was extremely polite and seated us .took drink order and was very prompt .my gf asked Evan if he could recommend a dish .my gf said chicken pot pie 🥧 or Sheppard a pie he said both are delicious so she ordered the Sheppard pie and loved it. a true 10 for taste quality and quantity a must try .I ordered the French onion soup it was also delicious. Our dinning experience was simply awesome we will definitely be going bk to eat and drink there .so if in Sussex area please stop in ita a must try and ask for the friendly awesome personality server EVAN.“

“We had such an amazing experience at The Second Half on Main this weekend. We called for a reservation for 7 people on a Saturday night, and they were beyond accommodating. They took us in just 30 minutes before closing and never once made us feel rushed, which honestly says a lot because most places start stacking chairs and spiritually evicting you the second the clock hits closing time.

The food was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. We ordered French onion soups, a Caesar salad for the table, calamari, and everyone got different entrees and drinks. Every single thing was delicious. Not one complaint from anyone at the table, which for a group of humans is basically a statistical miracle.

Our waiter Mike, aka “Buckets,” was incredible the entire night. He never stopped moving, stayed on top of everything, and still made time to go around wishing other tables a Happy Mother’s Day, which was genuinely very sweet to see. You could tell he was working his ass off, but he never stopped smiling and made the whole experience even better. Another gentleman helping him named Matt was also fantastic and super attentive.

We will 100% be back and honestly cannot wait to see everyone again. We’re even considering using them for our friend’s bridal shower this winter because the service, atmosphere, and food were all that good. Highly recommend!“
