Stopped in on Tuesday, got an everything bagel with olive cream cheese, and by far the best bagel I’ve ever had. Today I stopped and got a ham, egg and cheese, and again best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. You now have a very happy new customer.“

The attention to detail for what I wanted was phenomenal. The owners and staff are incredible and accommodating and I received many compliments on the design as well as the cookies and pastries. “Wish Upon a Pastry is a great Disney Inspired bakery in NJ. Michele and Torre, the owners are so nice and great to work with. They have really unique baked goods that are all absolutely delicious. They also take special orders. They are not dedicated gluten free but they offer a lot of gluten free options that are just as delicious as their other bakery items. “Waited was annoyed by everything going on. presented his dis pleasure well to us. All the food was fabulous, but my Swordfish and my wife's had a Cyanne pepper Kick. It hit you when you took a bite of the fish and stayed with you. I had to drink water after every bite. i have been here many times and never had this happen. I tried to tell the waited but he wouldn't give me the time of day and the last thing for 5 of us he added 15% to the bill clearly marked tip. with the space empty for me to fill in more. NOT ever seen that. A great place that the management needs to take a serious Look at.“

The man working the counter allowed me to grab my drinks for free dispite me offering to pay. Generosity like that is rare to find and greatly appretiated! “built my first ofrenda this year and came to la jarochita in search of pan de muerto. i have been trying to honor the tradition respectfully and felt that supporting a local mexican business was the right way of doing it.

this is an authentic mexican bakery, i could tell just by walking in. the environment is very homey and welcoming, the ladies that run the front are sweet and informative.
one of the women explained to me that you grab a tray and your serve yourself the bread you want and then you take it to the counter.

so i asked for a few opinions and chose a bunch of options. i left with pan de muerto and a bunch of other pastries / bread.
it was very affordable!

everything is fresh and a lot of them are still warm fresh from the oven!
the taste is very good.

“Palazzone Pastry Labs and had a mixed experience. The pastries themselves were quite good, with a nice variety and fresh ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the cannoli, which had a delightful filling and a perfectly crisp shell.

However, the service left much to be desired. The servers were not very friendly, which took away from the overall experience. A bit more warmth and attentiveness from the staff would go a long way in making customers feel welcome and valued.
