“Made a phone order for a custom photo cake this past weekend. The manager who, both at phone call and while I was picking up, always prioritizes the service of the customers in front of her. She called back to take the order less rushed and she really made me feel like whomever she is helping she is giving her full attention to provide a good service. It was easy working with her to customize the perfect cake for my sisters birthday. We were blown away! She loved her cake and our family loved the extra crunchies! We haven’t really bought Carvel cakes since our childhood years and we might start doing it again more often and with this shop specifically! Thank you!“

“I go to the place frequently, it is good, good food and excellent service. I can't give it 5 stars for two fundamental reasons, the first is a suggestion, don't order a tray paisa because it doesn't have arepa or avocado, avocado is fine, but without arepa it's unforgivable and it's not that it's a spectacular dish, better try others things that are very good. The second is that the parking lot is a nightmare, I would like to go more often but unfortunately when we go and there is nowhere to park we have to leave, we don't live nearby so if you can it is better to walk, for us it is impossible, we have lost the trip there just because we can't park. I recommend the place with complete confidence.“

Should have posted this a couple of weeks ago to let everyone know what an absolutely beautiful job they did with the delicious Woodland Creatures 1/2 sheet cake for my daughter’s baby shower! Wow! It was so moist and tasty, received so many compliments from the ladies. And you know we ladies love our cakes! The decorator created an over-the-top adorable woodland creatures design. Even the gluten free cupcakes were tasty and gorgeous. Kudos to the entire staff and owner. Everyone was so helpful and lovely. Would highly recommend this bakery when you want the best! “I don't usually write long Google reviews, but after attending a buddy’s wedding in North Jersey recently, I had to drop one for this place.
Honestly, I’m not even a big cake guy, but the dessert setup at the reception caught my attention right away. They had this huge, multi-tiered custom wedding cake that looked awesome really clean work, not over the top, just super high quality. My wife and I were actually talking about how great it looked before they even cut into it.
When we finally got our slices, I expected the usual wedding cake thing: looks great, tastes like dry cardboard or straight sugar. But man, this thing was actually insane. Super moist, fresh, and tasted legit. I finished mine in about two minutes and ended up grabbing half of my wife’s slice too. It was so good I walked over to the groom during the party just to ask where they got it. He told me they had it custom designed at D’era House.
Finding a cake designer around North Jersey that makes something that actually tastes as good as it looks is pretty rare. I saved their info on my phone right then and there for our next family event.
If you’re looking for a solid wedding cake designer, custom made tiered cakes, or custom event cakes in Clifton or anywhere in the area, D’era House is 100% the real deal. Props to the baker! 💍🍰💪“

“Literally the best Knafe in all of Paterson. Better than any other spot. Most authentic Knafe I've tasted in America. The most similar I've seen to this one was in Chicago. And I've tried plenty of Knafe in America.

Also their Znud Al Sit are amazing. I usually call in the morning to make an order by noon time for best results.“

Get there before 3;30 PM if you want sliced cheese because they close the slicer at 3;30. I know if I get there at 3;32 PM the slicer is off. I was looking for a special place to take my family out for dinner because it was my oldest son's birthday. I also read the history of this beautiful place, Father a Son team and it sounded like something down our alley and my son would really love to experience. Oh my goodness! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such a warm and welcoming attitude. We were seated in the best spot, and they even brought out a high chair for my grandson. We try to put him in high chairs but he just doesn't like them. This little guy wants to be a big boy already😂❤️ Our waiter, Ali I believe that was his name, was absolutely the best! He was so approachable, funny, and well mannered with all of us. He even joked around with my grandson, which made the experience even more special. Thank u! Everything we had was delicious! From the warm bread with olives and olive oil to the appetizers, to our main dishes and oh my goodness, those drinks🍹 They were to die for! Now that's what I call, “Call me an Uber!” 😂 They definitely were not stingy with the alcohol, and those drinks were so good! 😉 They even brought out a little dessert for my son to celebrate his birthday, and it was so, so good and absolutely delicious! 🎂❤️ I rate this restaurant 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. “I stopped in for some pastries and ended up leaving with so much more than just something sweet. The macaroons were absolutely delicious, perfectly crisp on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside. You can really tell they’re made with care.

What truly made my experience, though, was Renee. She was incredibly kind, welcoming, and just radiated such positive energy. She had no idea I was having a really hard day, but her attitude genuinely lifted my spirits more than she probably realizes. It’s rare to come across someone who makes that kind of impact in such a simple interaction.

Between the amazing treats and the even better service, I’ll definitely be coming back.

“A place a Father’s Day gift order on Saturday for pick up on Sunday. When I arrived on Sunday, they were closed. I read my receipt and I was sure that the pick up was for Sunday at 9 AM. On Monday I emailed them about my dissatisfaction I received a call from the owner and she was very polite and let me know that they’re closed on Sunday and that the pick up is scheduled for us Monday at 9 AM. She was correct. I looked at my receipt and on the very top. It said Monday at 9 AM. I apologize for the misunderstanding and let her know that I have requested a refund through my bank. And I suggested that I receive a credit instead of a refund because I patronize them off that period. However, she semi my surprise, offered a full refund and explained that this was a courtesy refund because it was my era. She was professional, transparent and understanding, and now I appreciated the entire into action. I have been a faithful customer and I will remain a customer because of her. Thank you.“

“Best Italian bread around and very reasonably priced in my opinion. Italian pastries are delicious also. Even if you don't live too close by there, it is worth a trip every once in awhile to get really good bread especially for Sunday gravy/sauce. They are open many hours so it's very convenient.“
