“Made a phone order for a custom photo cake this past weekend. The manager who, both at phone call and while I was picking up, always prioritizes the service of the customers in front of her. She called back to take the order less rushed and she really made me feel like whomever she is helping she is giving her full attention to provide a good service. It was easy working with her to customize the perfect cake for my sisters birthday. We were blown away! She loved her cake and our family loved the extra crunchies! We haven’t really bought Carvel cakes since our childhood years and we might start doing it again more often and with this shop specifically! Thank you!“

“I go to the place frequently, it is good, good food and excellent service. I can't give it 5 stars for two fundamental reasons, the first is a suggestion, don't order a tray paisa because it doesn't have arepa or avocado, avocado is fine, but without arepa it's unforgivable and it's not that it's a spectacular dish, better try others things that are very good. The second is that the parking lot is a nightmare, I would like to go more often but unfortunately when we go and there is nowhere to park we have to leave, we don't live nearby so if you can it is better to walk, for us it is impossible, we have lost the trip there just because we can't park. I recommend the place with complete confidence.“

Should have posted this a couple of weeks ago to let everyone know what an absolutely beautiful job they did with the delicious Woodland Creatures 1/2 sheet cake for my daughter’s baby shower! Wow! It was so moist and tasty, received so many compliments from the ladies. And you know we ladies love our cakes! The decorator created an over-the-top adorable woodland creatures design. Even the gluten free cupcakes were tasty and gorgeous. Kudos to the entire staff and owner. Everyone was so helpful and lovely. Would highly recommend this bakery when you want the best! Since Erin McKennas bakery closed in NYC I’ve been on a hunt for a bakery that meets my allergen needs as a lot of vegan bakeries are not also nut free or don’t offer gluten free baked goods. I got a cookie and some of the No Whey chocolates and my partner got a cake truffle and cupcake. The cookie was amazing and my partner said the cake truffle was really good too (they didn’t get a gluten free one). I am happy to know that I have a safe bakery that I can go to and recommend to my family. Will be going back here!“

“Seems to be a newer business in downtown Ridgewood right on the corner across from the post office. Probably the best orange scone and oatmeal raisin cookie I have ever had. Everything is fresh and homemade. Nothing imported or stale. The setup is a little weird with how they have some of the baked goods because it's hard to see them all. I wish it was a little easier to see the selection. Maybe it's a good thing you can't really see everything because I would buy it all and be 900 pounds. Great addition to the area!“

Get there before 3;30 PM if you want sliced cheese because they close the slicer at 3;30. I know if I get there at 3;32 PM the slicer is off. So I get tuna fish instead and it’s about as good as it gets. The staff is friendly and do a good job. What a place!“

“I stopped in for some pastries and ended up leaving with so much more than just something sweet. The macaroons were absolutely delicious, perfectly crisp on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside. You can really tell they’re made with care.

What truly made my experience, though, was Renee. She was incredibly kind, welcoming, and just radiated such positive energy. She had no idea I was having a really hard day, but her attitude genuinely lifted my spirits more than she probably realizes. It’s rare to come across someone who makes that kind of impact in such a simple interaction.

We usually order in lemon raspberry and chocolate chip—both offered in gluten-free—and they are absolutely amazing! I usually eat gluten-free, and these have become my go-to. Even though my staff isn’t gluten-free, they absolutely love them and can’t even tell the difference. We also get them delivered to our workplace, which is a convenient option.
