“Just Salad is a wonderful addition to the Ocean/Wanamassa area. They have a great selection. I love that they change up their menu with different seasonal specials. Everything I've tried has been delicious! They also have a few different protein options for vegetarians, which is really nice. The store is neat and clean and the food is fresh. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, especially the manager Maria. This has quickly become one of my go-to lunch spots when working from home.“

“We traveled 2 1/2 hours for a beach day and ended it with a Playa Bowl in Asbury which is a summer tradition. But we almost missed out! Location was closed by 6:00 pm on 9/21/24! We were in disbelief! We got there at 6:10pm. We begged and pleaded and “Jimmy” made it happen!!! World class service with a smile!!! What an amazing person you are “Jimmy”! “Got a Coco Power bowl, the portion was perfect to have as a meal. If I wasn't pretty hungry I may have struggled to finish it, but that just means you get your money's worth! The atmosphere is great, it's a narrow shop but they have a second floor for customers and they also have gender-neutral single occupant bathrooms!“

“Warm, welcoming and attentive service, generous portions - perfect, classic brunch for my family while on vacation in Long Branch.

We came here on our first morning in town, right as they opened. We had the breakfast combo - pancakes, eggs, sausage and bacon with milk for my toddler. I also had a latte that was delicious. Their kids menu has a ton of options, super reasonably priced. He loved it, ate a ton and was so happy!

We sat in a large, comfy booth overlooking the ocean. There was plenty of space for the whole family and since it was early, even the toddler got to walk around a bit, when he was getting antsy.

“No kidding the people that work there are literally the nicest people ever. Every time I go they’re so extremely kind to me and my daughter. I wish I knew their names but the Asian woman with a cute beauty mark and the Caucasian guy with auburn hair are my favorite people. And of course they make a perfect bowl every time!“

“We had a 6:45 reservation and were seated fairly quickly. However, we were placed at a very small table, near kitchen, squeezed between two larger ones, and the space felt uncomfortably tight. I asked if we could switch to the slightly larger table next to us, but a woman who appeared to be the manager immediately came over and said that table was reserved. I explained that I also had a reservation and had arrived first, so I didn't understand why we couldn't sit there. She insisted that the other guests had reserved that specific table and was neither apologetic nor pleasant about it. A few minutes later she returned to say they were clearing a window table if we were willing to wait. Hoping to have a nice dinner with my teenage daughter, I agreed. We ended up sitting in the waiting area for about 15 minutes before being moved to the window table. The food was excellent and our server was wonderful, but the initial interaction and the way the situation was handled left us with a negative impression of the overall service.“

They have a variety of options available, from healthy bowls, to soup to chili. When you are tired of figuring out what to cook for dinner, this is a great option. Also, helps with portion control. I was happy I did, after the last two horrendous visits both with product and customer service which were months ago yesterday’s experience was wonderful. My first thought was “ They must have a new owner or manager” . If this is the case , well done. So happy to have a Playa I can once again go to.“

“I order doordash from this location every morning and they're great! The one thing I'd like to suggest, instead of sealing the bag you guys put your smoothies in can you put the seal over the straw hole and around the side of the smoothie lid? I had one dasher bring me the smoothie with the bag tore open and told me verbatim "those idiots don't know how to pack right I had to open your bag so the smoothie didn't fall over". I requested a refund from doordash and tossed the smoothie cause he could have done anything with it he wanted. Otherwise I love this place!!!“
