“Big group of us (over 20) called in for breakfast before a match in Gaelic Park. Service, cleanliness and staff hospitality were second to none, before I even mention the food. Breakfast was so good we called back after the match for dinner. Even though it was very busy the staff, accommodated us and the food was excellent, would highly recommend for both food quality and price. Special mention to Danielle who couldn't do enough to make our two visits to the Whlistin Donkey very worth while.“

“One of my low key spots. Me and my sister always come here to just relax and have some drinks wings. They have tons of beer in tap I don’t drink beer but I’m always making drinks to order. Wish they did have more cocktails and wine selection for the done beer drinkers but still good. The candied sweet chili wings double cooked with everything bagel fries my go to if not their burgers are pretty good as well. Check them out!“

“We hosted a surprise 60th birthday party this past weekend and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From the first call to set it up to the moment we walked out the door, the staff made sure it was such a great experience. The people who work there are so attentive and kind. The managers Bryan and Kelly were so helpful in planning our party and Ivan is a rockstar. He took care of our party of 20 and made sure we had everything we needed. We never had to look for him, he was always checking on us and providing excellent service. He truly is so great at what he does. We had a sit down lunch in their cottage room which was so nicely decorated. the space was perfect. We felt like we were in our own restaurant. It was cozy but spacious and they were so accommodating with how we wanted it set up. We were able to bring balloons and decorations and the staff even helped us set up. They had a curtain up in the doorway so we were able to really surprise the guest of honor. Our lunch was delicious. We chose to do the seated option with 3 shareable apps and we picked a menu of 4 main meals from their party menu. Most of us ordered the shepherds pie and it was some of the best we had ever had. The presentation was cute. It came in a skillet which was served on a board with Irish soda bread. It was so delicious. The show stopper was the shareable Irish egg rolls. We couldn’t stop talking about them. The drinks were really good and the bar staff was really attentive to the party. The kids ordered from the long kids menu and they really enjoyed theirs as well. The pricing was very reasonable and worth every penny. We were able to bring our own cake and they cut it up and served it for us which was so nice. I can’t thank them enough for how special they made this experience. Everyone in our party had such an amazing time. The staff here are incredible. I would absolutely consider them for your next party.“

“Was on our way to another bar, "late" last night (not even Midnight) after having been turned aside by the Marriott but then drove by Andy's Corner and immediately pulled a U-ey.This place is a gem. The bartender is swell and the vibe is laid-back friendly.You might think "Dive Bar" (in the best possible way) when walking up to the front door, but what you get when you open the door is a Classy Establishment.To the backyard party-goers of Bergen County--- leave your block, for the love of Mike, and patronize this place. “We threw a drop-in Buffet dinner for family and friends at Houlihans for 30 to 35 people. The room is spacious and accommodated everyone comfortably. Our server Eileen was excellent and the food was delicious. Michelle who assisted with the catering was very detail oriented and help me plan a great event. Sebastian the manager as extremely gracious and helped ensure our guests were taken care of. I would definitely do it again and highly recommend..“

“Went to Dog house yesterday. Found out the chef left. 😩 Food definately proved it. used to Love the cheesecake sandwich, but not today. Way too much Wostishire that overpowered the sandwich and steak sliced too thick. Very disappointed! And the very young bartender was very disappointing also. only 6 people there and not very responsive or knowledgeable!“

So I got my beer and followed them and saw a full on fight and For some reason there was guy who kept talking. something about rule number 1. You don’t talk about fight club. Whatever this is a great bar will be coming back“

“We decided to return to this lounge for the second time because we enjoyed the first visit.This visit different but mostly fun nonetheless.We sat for maybe 5-10 minutes because the bartender finished her conversation to attend to us.During those 5-10 minutes we enjoyed the Karaoke that was two rum punches which was a whopping $30.That threw me off a bit because on our first visit we order 6 drinks total for $50.Anyway, the rum punches were good, one was STRONG, the other was sweet but you could still taste the liquor.We were then greeted by a second bartender who was more pleasant than the first and more welcoming.She asked questions and checked on us to make sure we were okay.The dj was good but you can tell he’s old school which is fine because the car attracts crowds off all ages.The regulars there participating in the karaoke had great voices, especially the men.I asked about a food menu but was told that the kitchen was closed, this was about 11:30pm Friday night.They recommended a food truck that was parked next to the building that was affiliated with the lounge.The bathroom was very clean and well kept.

“This bar is like no other. The staff are amazing and truly caring for everyone. This place feels like home when you step in and everyone becomes family. The neighborhood is very close and familiar with each other so Fenwicks is where everyone goes to hang out. If you are looking to have a good time and have some good quality drinks, Fenwicks is the right place to go. By the way, you need to try Fenwicks’ wings, they are AMAZING! Plus they are air fried for the healthy peeps. I definitely recommend Fenwicks as the best bar in the Bronx!!“

UPDATE: I've returned to The Bronx Public several times since my initial visit, and I'm happy to report that the quality of the food and service remains consistently high. The staff continues to be friendly and attentive, and the food is always delicious. “This place only serves drinks but you can bring your own food. We had a gathering with 25 people where they put us in our own private section. We had the event catered from whichever place we wanted. We later found out that they do have a grill if we wanted to have them cook hotdogs, hamburgers, chicken, etc for a per person fee. There outside section only has largely distributed beers but the inside has a Yonkers brew and a Captain Lawrence. I didn't notice a large wine selection. The liquor was the standard stuff with the exception of some different Irish whiskey. I loved that there is both an inside area and outdoor garden. I'll definitely be back frequently.“

“The bartender on Thursday night is lovely. Gave 4 stars because they don't carry bottled beer. I hate drinking beer out of a can or a glass at a bar. I ended up ordering a subpar glass of wine from my only choice of white. The atmosphere is fine and parking is good. Would go somewhere else if you're like me and like a Corona you can put a lime in.“
