“I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt. The food is awful. Mozzarella sticks were frozen, Cajun fries, a handful of paprika drowned over the top Today beer that's normally $6 was $8 plus a $4 tip, tax and looking for another tip. Bill should have been $20 it's $30. Live with your wn failure. Don't put it on the customers. Pretty bartenders won't cover incompetence.“

“I wasn't going to share this place with anyone because I don't want it to get crowded but I have to bc I love it so much. Presenting my new watering hole in Bergen! The location is where the old 21 used to be, on the top floor of the Son Jjajang building. Great happy hour everyday 4-8!! It's a steal considering how good the food is. Happy hour all types of soju are $8.99 and beers are cheap too. All the big dishes on the happy hour menu are between $14-$18 and I think the portion sizes are the same! I have yet to try something that I don't love on the menu. Their: Cheese buldak (fire chicken w/ mozzarella cheese.. ask for medium spicy if you can't do heat!) Jogae sujebi (Korean version of.. gnocchi? in clam broth..I always order another side of sujebi) Donkatsu (breaded & fried pork cutlet) Tofu & kimchi Ddukbokki (spicy rice cakes... I usually ask for cheese on this also lol) Tong dak (whole fried chicken) Gaeran mari (Korean cheese omlette w/ fried garlic on top) Budae jjigae (Korean army soup, goes great with soju!) and weirdly enough their giant plate of FRIES (idk what they do to those fries they're just fries but they're so good lol) are among some of my favorites. However, the food tends to be on the spicier side which isn't an issue for me, but if you can't handle too much spice be sure to tell your waiter. I can't say enough about how good the food is. The chef apparently refuses to use anything but the best ingredients and it shows in the taste of the food. Portions are big too! Obviously I eat here a lot... lol Oh and the servers and manager are all so nice!! One time we had a big party of 10 but they didn't have space so they put us in their only karaoke room in the back. We wanted to watch the US Open but we couldn't figure out the TV in the room so the manager found an HDMI cable and hooked his own cellphone up to it so we could watch. How sweet?!! At the moment they only serve soju and beer but I have been told that they will start offering liquor soon :) Like I said, I don't want this place to get crowded but they deserve the business with food and service like this. I hope they stick around and become a new staple in Pal Park! PS. The menu is entirely in Korean so bring a friend who is fluent or ask the waiters for suggestions! I will definitely have to mention to them that they should make an English version of their menu. Will be back with pictures later!“

“I’ve been to rock 21 a couple times with a few friends and I have to say it’s actually one of the best karaoke spots in Palisades Park. The food is great, and so are the drinks, And honestly, the service was exceptional.“

Tuesday trivia nights and Wednesday karaoke nights are super fun, but they also have cards, dominoes, and board games. Burgers are great but the wings are to die for! “I come to Lucille’s almost everyday (except Mondays). Doesn’t matter if it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner, their food and drinks is always amazing, service is also great, the place is beautiful overall, Lucille’s one of those hidden gems in the area. I’d recommend the salmon burger & house salad, breakfast sandwich with sausage, wings, turkey sandwich, chicken sandwich, guava and chicken waffle, shrimp & grits. For drinks the spiced sangria , espresso martini, chai latte, sweet tea are great! They also have a good point system so if you go there often, like me, once in a while you’ll get a free drink.“

“I went for the very first time for New Jersey Deathfest and found it to be the ideal venue for hard-core and metal. The sound is actually top notch and the staff is very friendly. The gritty decor and atmosphere is very reminiscent of a lot of the noteworthy DIY venues I used to go to in NYC during the 90's for metal and hardcore shows which made it all the more nostalgic for me. I would definitely return here for another show in the future.“

“very cute vibe and super kind waitstaff!! however if you have a bigger body at all, prepare to feel absolutely cramped. upon entering you literally have to squeeze behind everyone seated at the bar. its about a foot of space! then on the other side of the restaurant, the tables are packed so tightly together you will literally be touching legs with the folks next to you. and to make matters worse, theres one long booth for all the tables and its packed full with pillows! so now the pillows are occupying the already tight space to sit. i know restaurants in this city have to make the most of their square footage, but this one felt particularly compacted.“

There were 21 of us all together and everyone was well cared for by server Lily and the rest of the awesome staff. “My sis and I came here for a quick bite and were pleasantly surprised at the happy hour and food specials. $6 espresso martinis and a $12 smash burger lunch special, so for $20 you can have quite a nice little lunch. The servers were great and checked in regularly to make sure we were good. We also appreciated what I think was the manager watching our drinks because at $6 a martini we had to have one more, yes, they were that good. We stood for maybe 2.5 hrs and left so happy with a full belly and new memories created. Definitely a cute little spot for a solo quick bite, a nice little date night that’s more on the casual side, or coming with a group of friends. While we came here for lunch during the week they did have other great food options available and weekend specials if that’s something of interest. The ambiance is sexy and grown and still has a sports bar vibe. It’s warm and inviting as well as cozy with the lighting. They have a fully stocked bar with 2 bars front and back. As mentioned earlier, they have daily and weekend specials for both food and drink. This place is definitely a must try and I will be coming back.“

“In one sentence, Rough Draft is truly a “place to come in from the cold”. This place makes me want to write a book.

Easily some of the coziest and warmest vibes and aesthetics I’ve see in a bar in a long, long time. Very reasonable prices (plus a nice happy hour) and it really feels so classy and chic, yet not without heart and character. It’s a beautiful space with grand wall-length windows that look particularly whimsical with the bit of snow and frost left over from last night. The Christmas decorations in particular are very lovely. It’s in a beautiful part of the neighborhood, too! I love to see Hamilton Place growing like this.

The cask ale is such a fun touch, too - and they’ve got a very intentional and strong selection of draft beers, whiskeys, bourbons, and more. Great service and chill staff.

All in all, I think this makes a strong case to be one of my favorite bars in the city. I’ve only taken a few sips of my beer and felt compelled to write this. I only hope this place thrives like it deserves to as a member of the outstanding Uptown Bar community!“

Our server Eileen was excellent and the food was delicious. Michelle who assisted with the catering was very detail oriented and help me plan a great event. “Caught up with a friend for drinks and dinner...the place is quaint, with a great, lively vibe. We sat at the bar and were greeted by Linda, one of the bartenders. She was absolutely a joy, smiling and chatting while she served us up our drinks, then meticulously prepared the dipping oil for our warm bread. After taking our order, Linda served us two very large portions. I had a pasta dish with rigatoni that was made fresh that day. (The bar is connected to an Italian restaurant, which is a separate business, but they work seamlessly to provide customers in both establishments a terrific dining experience. The live music was fabulous, with a great mix of classic hits performed by very talented musicians. We opted not to get dessert and left with our bellies full and our hearts content. Parking was a little bit of a challenge with it being a Saturday night, but Linda informed us to use the VFW parking lot the next time around. Can't wait to check out Karaoke night on Wednesdays. I was having so much fun that I forgot to take photos.“
