“honestly surprised I'm the first to review this place.. been around as long as I can remember and it is probably the only place around where you can still get lunch for under $10. No thrills or frills here. Just fresh ingredients, simple sandwiches made by lovely people and served with a smile. If you're looking for a quick, easy affordable bite, this is the spot!“

“Sometimes the roads less traveled brings out some really great spots. Found myself near Hope New Jersey in rural Warren County (Exit 12 Route 80) and this spot came highly recommended. The Hope Cafe is located at 6 Cedar Street at the corner of Cedar St. and County Road 519. Definitely a shop that deserves to be in the spot light. Small town vibe from start to finish with awesome service and more importantly great good. I present the Rajun Roastbeef (Roast beef, pepper jack cheese, hot peppers, horseradish sauce) Sandwich had great taste with a small kick which I enjoyed. Made for a perfect way to fuel up after biking along the Paulinskill Valley Trail“

“Best customer service here! The owner has literally re-opened his store on more than one occasion for me to just run in and buy cigarettes (I arrived after closing but he was still there). He's hooked my kid up with free candy before and all the cashiers that I've seen are all nice and quick. I highly suggest going to this Skoogys. It's got a small town vibe and makes you feel like an important customer. I'd rather support this store than a corporate place. They got everything from Deli food service..ice cream..tobacco and cigarettes..chips..candy.etc.“
