“I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt. The food is awful. Mozzarella sticks were frozen, Cajun fries, a handful of paprika drowned over the top Today beer that's normally $6 was $8 plus a $4 tip, tax and looking for another tip. Bill should have been $20 it's $30. Live with your wn failure. Don't put it on the customers. Pretty bartenders won't cover incompetence.“

“I wasn't going to share this place with anyone because I don't want it to get crowded but I have to bc I love it so much. Presenting my new watering hole in Bergen! The location is where the old 21 used to be, on the top floor of the Son Jjajang building. Great happy hour everyday 4-8!! It's a steal considering how good the food is. Happy hour all types of soju are $8.99 and beers are cheap too. All the big dishes on the happy hour menu are between $14-$18 and I think the portion sizes are the same! I have yet to try something that I don't love on the menu. Their: Cheese buldak (fire chicken w/ mozzarella cheese.. ask for medium spicy if you can't do heat!) Jogae sujebi (Korean version of.. gnocchi? in clam broth..I always order another side of sujebi) Donkatsu (breaded & fried pork cutlet) Tofu & kimchi Ddukbokki (spicy rice cakes... I usually ask for cheese on this also lol) Tong dak (whole fried chicken) Gaeran mari (Korean cheese omlette w/ fried garlic on top) Budae jjigae (Korean army soup, goes great with soju!) and weirdly enough their giant plate of FRIES (idk what they do to those fries they're just fries but they're so good lol) are among some of my favorites. However, the food tends to be on the spicier side which isn't an issue for me, but if you can't handle too much spice be sure to tell your waiter. I can't say enough about how good the food is. The chef apparently refuses to use anything but the best ingredients and it shows in the taste of the food. Portions are big too! Obviously I eat here a lot... lol Oh and the servers and manager are all so nice!! One time we had a big party of 10 but they didn't have space so they put us in their only karaoke room in the back. We wanted to watch the US Open but we couldn't figure out the TV in the room so the manager found an HDMI cable and hooked his own cellphone up to it so we could watch. How sweet?!! At the moment they only serve soju and beer but I have been told that they will start offering liquor soon :) Like I said, I don't want this place to get crowded but they deserve the business with food and service like this. I hope they stick around and become a new staple in Pal Park! PS. The menu is entirely in Korean so bring a friend who is fluent or ask the waiters for suggestions! I will definitely have to mention to them that they should make an English version of their menu. Will be back with pictures later!“

“I made a reservation for a post marathon group and Amity Hall Uptown hit it out of the park!

My group as a little late, and they accommodated without missing a beat, switching us to a larger table once the whole crew arrived after a delay.

“I am not really big on writing reviews (since the reader can never be sure if they are “real”), but I have to make an exception with the Blackbird Pub and restaurant, in Cliffside Park New Jersey.
The moment you walk in the door, you are greeted and made to feel welcome, as if you are an old friend, not a “walk-in”. That high level of attention continues throughout the visit. You literally never have to ask for a beverage re-fill, the staff cheerfully graciously stays one step ahead of you all the time.
Regarding the food, The Blackbird offers a nice variety of appetizers, sandwiches, and the like. While I have not tried everything on the menu, I can definitely say that the various hamburger options are all superb, as are the wings, with five varieties of sauces, (hot honey, garlic, barbecue, buffalo, garlic, parmesan, and sweet chili Thai).
Prices are reasonable; the crowd is always genial and mellow, and the owner and staff are warm, friendly, and frankly an interesting group of characters with entertaining stories to tell.
I highly recommend that you give The Blackbird Pub and Restaurant a try. You will be glad that you did.“

“I've always loved Dingbatz as a patron. My experiences there have always always been positive ones. The food (across the street at Dingos) is top notch and fairly priced and I've never had poor service at the bar. It ONLY loses one star because I have had many friends (and bands) who have Not had good experiences there, and sometimes that varies greatly depending on who is working the shift and what kind of mood they are in at the time. But I always try to encourage bands to play here - the stage is SMALL and there's no green room but unless you're a bunch of pretentious jerks, the staff WILL take care of you, and your fans will be grateful for the up close and more personal experience that you simply cannot get at big venues.“

There were 21 of us all together and everyone was well cared for by server Lily and the rest of the awesome staff. “I absolutely love Urbano Cafe Bar!!! The aesthetics are so cute and create the perfect atmosphere. The food is amazing—especially the chicken wings, which are a must-try no matter what sauce you pick. My personal favorites are the buffalo and sweet chili. The Urbano burger and fries are freshly made and delicious, and the tacos are packed with fresh ingredients. They also offer a great happy hour with the option to get a cubetazo of 5 beers!

“Tucked away behind the Main Street we stumbled upon this excellent restaurant. We ordered Spring rolls and a Japanese thingy for starter, both were really good. For mains it was Beef and Ginger and Prawn Fried Rice, again both excellent. So for 2 starters, 2 mains and 4 drinks it came to 58 euros, even excellenter ?…music choice was a bit different in that it was dance oriented but wasn’t out of place. The bar is a casual setting, keep in mind that there isn’t a dress code! I’ve seen people come in after weddings!

There are different themed nights and they bring in different DJs. The staff is either family, friends, or Harlem locals, and you can even bring your own food if you need some backup for those strong drinks. Drinks are fairly low, a Don Julio Margarita is $15, and if you have Laray or Tracey make them be prepared !! There are even nights where there are $100 bottles of Moet. The bar can get packed, so there is sometimes a bit of wait, but the bartenders never forget! There is a homey aspect and the bartenders even remember names and orders.

The vibe? Local, chill, and all about dancing! The crowd can be mature but to be honest between the drinks and the DJ you will be moving! The music is mostly Hip Hob & R&B, with a sprinkle of reggae or AfroBeats. The music gets louder to make it a party vibe during the later hours on the weekend.
