“An absolutely abundant amount of choices, that All sound so delicious. What an incredibly unique menu. We were definitely overwhelmed on what to have. We had the taco Birria pancakes and mozzarella stick hamburger with mozzarella cheese fries. Both were delicious. The service was great, even though we got there just before closing, they didn't rush us. The inside reminds me of a 50's style dinner, so cool. We can't wait to go back and try other things with friends. Highly recommend if you like unique and creative foods.“

“This place being the oldest diner in New Jersey (1925), walking in was like stepping back in time. The man running the place was very nice, it was fun and enjoyable having a conversation with him. It was great as my friend and I sat at the counter watching our food being cooked on the grill right in front of us. My friend ordered their stuffed pancakes, and they were as big as a flying saucer! I had the standard sunny side eggs, toast, bacon and sausage. Everything was delicious and had that classic old time diner taste we all remember. My friend and I are definitely going back there again very soon as it was that enjoyable.“

“Our friends from Congers took us here for brunch one day, and it was delicious. So now we drive from New City when we are looking for a wonderful breakfast or lunch. We like to sit out on the deck. The staff is super friendly. We always look forward to a good Mamosa on the weekends. Or, in fact, we're on our way right now with the family. Great place.“

“This is the first time my husband and I visited this diner. The atmosphere was welcoming. The waitress was very nice and attentive to our table. The food was excellent. We had soup for starters. The white bean soup was excellent. My husband had the Turkey, with avocado, lettuce and tomato, and sweet potato fries, while I had the pastrami with Swiss cheese and curly fries. The food was fresh, tasty and delicious. I would highly recommend you stopping in for a quick meal. A+ quality. The Montoya’s“

“Todays breakfast was enjoyed at The Golden Grill Restaurant in Teaneck, NJ. It's a cute breakfast nook tucked amongst a row stores and shops on a busy road in Teaneck, but the vibe is homey and comfortable. The staff is super down to earth and have this bustling little restaurant working like clockwork. The prices were great and the food was stick to your ribs good. We wound up ordering the following menu items: - chicken noodle soup - corned beef hash with eggs and grits - Smoked ham and eggs - hot chocolate“

“really nice place , great service, nice atmosphere . Food we ordered was great except their version of Lasagna was a small bowl with meat, pieces of lasagna pasta with 3 slices of Mozzarella melted over it . I’d definitely recommend the place but that meal wasn’t a good choice.“

“Best breakfast value in the area. Serves real home fries, not the low budget frozen hashed browns like other local diners. They have tons of regulars, a testament to the quality and consistency. One negative - the server(woman) is always in a bad mood and it shows.“

“My friend and I had heard of this diner's unique offerings and we decided to pay a visit to try them. Everything we had was fantastic and perfectly prepared. She really enjoyed her caramel latte, as did I with my black coffee. Both variants of the French toast were amazing, and the additional toppings really added something interesting to the mix without being overpowering. We opted to get the maple syrup which is an extra $3 each, but it's well worth it. My friend loved her eggs and home fries as well, and only brought some home because she was too full to finish it all. My short rib and egg tacos were phenomenal and we're the perfect blend of breakfast and lunch influences. I absolutely loved it.Customer service here was amazing. The diner was very clean and the staff was accommodating and quick. We never had to look for a staff member when we needed something. I would definitely recommend anyone check them out. It's definitely worth the trip (we came all the way from southern Westchester) and we'll be back for more soon!“

“This is a very good old school diner. I've been coming here for years. They are always courteous and the food is reliable. I was in the mood for grilled chicken with honey mustard on a roll. It wasn't on their menu as that but they were more than happy to make it for me. They have a number of daily specials and they are different all the time so you can be a regular without getting bored.“

“Need a quick cup of coffee or their famous "Tower" breakfast sandwich then head to Abbie's. This small restaurant has 4 tables and about 6 bar stools. They have great pancakes and a good cup of coffee. Many locals go here for their morning caffeine hit and local news. People call in their orders and run in and pick up. It's a "guy" kind of place and many local landscapers, and tradesmen are getting a great breakfast sandwich and coffee on the run for a very reasonable price. I wouldn't recommend it if you're going with your girlfriends though.“

“The Philly Cheesesteak is the best! Good price for the amount of food you get!Breakfast is ok typical diner type food. I'm not a fan of eggs so the options are more limited for me to pancakes, waffles, etc. so we usually do lunch instead. They are open for dinner now during the week but post the specials on Instagram. They used to have a website and it no longer works, I really wish they would fix it because in this day and age usually if you don't have a website you don't last long as a business.“

“This is our go to spot. There is an immediate "welcome home" feeling when you walk in. The staff is extremely welcoming and accommodating. I know it says diner in the name; however, that doesn't do it justice. The hardest thing whenever we come is deciding what to get, which in this case is a good thing. We always know we will have amazing food and friendly, attentive service. Also, let me tell you, the chicken francaise over penne is pastably the best I've ever had.“

“Good old fashioned diner served up some decent food. I was in the mood for a corn beef sandwich and they didn't disappoint. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was very nice. A decent spot for a good meal. The beef was a little dry but the cold slaw did the trick and I was able to enjoy it. Coffee was strong just the way I like it. I would go back just for the atmosphere and the service which was excellent.“
