“Wait staff was friendly and you were not pushed to finish dinner. We had the shrimp po' boy and the grilled ribeye open face steak sandwich. I asked for my French fries to be extra crispy and they were delicious. After driving for almost 5 hours, sitting in rush hour traffic and construction, this diner made our day and on a really great note.“

“I had a crappy couple of days and came here for comfort. The pancakes, Taylor ham, and extra crispy home fries hit the spot along with the black coffee (which I think about quite often). The waitress was so kind. Will be coming back if I need anymore comfort food.“

“Great little diner on Main Street in New City. Excellent breakfasts. Try the French toast! Or the blueberry pancakes. Or pretty much everything! Good coffee in old fashioned diner mugs. Friendly staff, too. New owners since January 2025. Updated space looks great. Still good food, friendly staff, now open for dinner 5 nights.“

“Abbie’s Diner is back and better than ever. They freshened up the interior with new tables, chairs and decor. This morning we had pancakes French toast, eggs, bacon, and sausage. Everything was delicious and the service is super friendly. A couple of cool things to note: their coffee is really good now, they have whole grain toast, and you can get blueberry pancake pancakes. If you haven’t been back since them reopening, recommend going soon!“

“We mostly order from the catering package, no order is too small or too large, We were accomodated very well. My Favorites are the Kare-Kare, Turon, Fried Chicken, Lumpia, and the Sisig. For Christmas, Thanksgiving, Birthdays, Church Events, etc they will not disappoint.“

“Ok, Grant Plater u fukn idiot it's obvious u don't get out to eat much... So d*** f*** any diner in the fun word u go to u get a waffle that can be cut into 4 sections. As far as chicken n Waffles d*** fuk unless u specify fried chicken and waffles, u will get tenders as for the gravy stupid for ur chicken, ur supposed to use syrup with this plate. If you did get fried chicken the cost would go up, duhh let me guess u would b**** about that to. Unless u no how a dish is served u should not complain because u sound like a fukn d*** a** who doesn't have a clue about dining out.. you wud be the type to go to a classy astablishment and say wats all the forks and spoons for by one plate.. ask before u comment and make a a** out of urself“

“Very lovely place. It’s so nice to come here and eat. It’s very family like and the people are so nice and the food is delicious. “We've eaten here dozens of times. The food has always been consistently good. Last trip and today it was just mediocre. Our granddaughters both ordered grilled cheese. Both plates were dry toast with mostly un-melted cheese slices.
The waiter never came to ask how our food was. (No. It wasn't especially busy.) We pointed out the sandwiches when he brought the check. And he literally shrugged.

“I used to go frequently and tge food was great. My husband and I stopped in for lunch, and he ordered shrimp and rigatoni and I order chicken souvlaki. Upon eating, in 15 min both of us experienced stomache pains and gas. I dont know what happened. We felt queasy which subsided after an hour.“

“Just wanted to say how amazing this diner is. The staff is always super super kind and the food is excellent. If I could give them 10000000 stars I would. Which says a lot because I’m generally a Karen because most places suck. But land and sea man I have had zero complaints for the many years I’ve been ordering from here. Love their burgers and chicken tenders!“

“I had a great experience at Ridge Diner. Fermin the server was attentive and friendly, one of the best I’ve ever had. The food was tasty and delicious, and the barista made amazing milkshakes and iced lattes. Everything came out quick and just the way we ordered it. Definitely recommend if you want good food and great service.“
