“After one of the most stressful days of my life, I have give a shout out to this particular Jersey Mikes store. I’m a mom of three and had been running around ALL day for the sake of my kids. Getting two to before school activities, getting another to a different school on time, getting a call from school for one kid being sick, running errands, going to work, getting kids from bus stops, getting kid from after school program and a slew of other things I’ve blocked out ( you know “Mom stuff”) I decided to treat my littles to a sandwich for a quick dinner. It’s their birthday tomorrow so my daughter proudly wore her birthday crown into the store and proceeded to be her friendly self with the staff. We ordered our subs and went to pay but somewhere in my travels I misplaced my debit card. Embarrassed, I apologized to the staff for my negligence and promised to return for our food after going home to get my card. The 3 staff behind the counter simply smiled at me and slid the bag across the counter to my daughter and said “Happy Birthday”. That has got to be the nicest thing that could have happened today. Thanking them about 5 times and still promising to come back with payment I was told not to worry about it, all was good. Long story short, I climbed into my car with my kids and found my debit card between my car seat. I ran back inside to settle up now that I found my card, they still told me “nope, you’re good ma’am”. I just want to say how grateful I am and how sweet a gesture it was they made to a slightly overwhelmed mom. Thank you so much.“

“I came to visit some friends and they said we have to go Jersey mikes because I wanted a sandwich. Omg the staff was friendly and attentive to me and my order, the young lady Shantel definitely deserves a bonus!!! She was kind, engaging, knowledgeable about her sandwich’s and the toppings and her recommendations were on point. She was engaging with her coworkers and she cleans up a lot and you can see she’s clean, and her parents raised a beautiful young lady with her mannerisms. She recommended a sandwich each to my friends and I and we all loved it!!! Can’t wait to came back and support this clean and delicious sandwiches. Now whoever is this young lady boss she deserves a bonus because she loves her job, the people and runs a clean and wonderful establishment!!! For the money you get Generous Amount of Meat and toppings. Very small, Clean, Friendly and BUSY little spot.
I had the All Italian meat combo large sandwich (14 inch) be careful to be really hungry to finish it.

“I went to Just Subs to place an order for a gathering involving a large number of people. I had reviewed the menu and had come up with a figure of $300.00, which by my calculations would provide enough subs, salads and sides for all involved. Probably with some left over. Joe the owner and his employee Desire questioned me about the number of people I wished to serve, and at that point told me that I was ordering too much food! Upon Joe's advice, I ordered a menu which came to a final total of $215.00! Everything was delicious, and there was some left over, just as Joe supposed there would be. It was a nice, professional gesture on his part, and a good way to treat a customer.“

“I went to Subworks recently, and it was great! The staff was super friendly, and the service was quick. They have a lot of sub options, and the portions are really big.

I tried the Buffalo Chicken sub, and it was so tasty! The bread was fresh and crispy, and the meats and veggies were really good. Everything was balanced perfectly, and they didn’t hold back on the ingredients.

Handmade with care and attention to detail, the sandwiches are delicious and fresh. There are very few healthy beverage options, but Bai water is one and a good selection of flavors available. “I came in on Saturday for a quick meal and was completely satisfied with everything. The girl working there was attentive to my requests and made the sandwich just how I wanted. The atmosphere was clean and the chips were stocked and also had a good variety of drinks to choose from. Will definitely be going back, and hopefully be seeing the same girl working there again!“

“I don’t know the employees name, but occasionally I run in with a last minute craving on my way to work @8:30pm. I know it’s towards the end of the night, but she is still always so pleasant and my food always made perfect and quickly. Tonight’s turkey sandwich was no exception. “Sandwich Station-Colonia ,Nj was my three children’s go to after school - especially on Tuesdays! For 4-years while they attended High School. All now in college now and finally got time to order so I decided to Order ( My very first time). I ordered the Chef Salad which was just fantastic! So Fresh! The cucumbers sliced Perfectly- not thick cute like other places! I also ordered a side of chicken and I was so surprised how much was given - nice portion! Had a few of the kids fries! Heavenly!!! “This was my first time trying this location and it wasn't a bad experience. Although I did enjoy my good, there were a few small errors that won't allow me to go above 4 stars. I specifically asked for the sauce on the cheese fries to be on the side. However the cheese was on top and it was a bit messier than I would've liked. This wasn't a deal breaker since the fries were soggy and still had a good amount of cheese. However she they were unnecessarily messy.
Similarly with the sandwich. The flavor was there. The roll was soft. Lettuce was crisp, as was the tomato juicy.
Buuuut, the sandwich wasn't evenly sliced. Almost as if they started to cut it and then stopped. Which made a port fall out when I picked it up. So, although minor errors, they were big enough to affect how much I enjoyed the meal.
Will I return? I would say Yes!!“

“Makes a great sandwich hot or cold. busy lunch place. This place changed my mind about porkroll and cheese. He slices the porkroll really thin(paper)and puts lots of slices on the sandwich. Not like the others putting only 4-6 slices of 1/8" thick (should be 8-10 with no egg). Really thin tastes better just like at the deli. A first for me with the porkroll. Good idea. I recommend this place.“

“We order subs form here at least twice a month. Subs are always pretty good BUT today I ordered a meatball sub.. All I can say is it was the nastiest meatball sub I ever ate! I’m sure the meatball sub from WaWa is much better. The sub contained a crap load of sauce and mushed meat not even meatballs. The meat tasted like the cheap meat from a can. Every time I think of it I want to vomit 🤮!!!! I normally place online orders but today I went in. They don’t even put paper down while making your sandwich they place the bread on the counter and slide it from one side to the other. I didn’t complain since it looked clean BUT I will Not be ordering from there again. What a waste of $15. I tried giving the rest to my dog but he didn’t even eat it. He put it in his mouth then spit it back out. If a dog won’t eat what does that tell you???! I would really like a refund but reality I know I ain’t going to get one. So I will WARN all those who like meatball subs DO NOT go to Jersey Mikes in Matawan. They truly suck. I can’t get the nasty meat flavor out of my mouth.
