“The food at Al-Aqsa is so fresh, delicious, and authentic! It takes me back to my days in the Middle East because it tastes exactly the same. My husband and I love going to dinner or lunch at Al-Aqsa. So many great appetizers such as the falafel platter and kibbeh balls, also the arreyes toushka. Cannot go wrong with any option for appetizer or meal. The baklava is also amazing. And the best part is that is very affordable for the amount you get. So grateful we have this place right here in Boonton.“

“Excellent halal food! Fresh, tasty, great customer service and large portions.
I always get the Lamb and chicken mixed platter with rice. I add extra meat for 2.50.
They have self-serve bottles of red sauce(hot sauce) and white sauce (yogurt based sauce).
I can never finish my meal and end up giving the rest to my friend or saving some for later or the next day.

“The owners are super nice, the food is always amazing and the place has a warm quiet atmosphere. This is our go-to place. I love the prishmi paneer, the vegetarian manthi and the Mediterranean delight. My husband always loves the lamb shank or lamb kufta kebabs with the rice, carrots and raisins. Either way we always have to share the baba ganoush and their special desert. Great byob dinner date spot.“

“This is a take out place. The quantity is too less for the $$ they charge. Quality is a hit or miss.
Owner has an attitude and thinks he is doing a favor by selling food. You have better options near by. I go here as the meat is not stale. Only reason“
