“I was in the area and decided to stop in for a sub. My bf has been coming here for years and swears by this deli as one of the best around.This mom and pop deli is not much to look at from the outside.They have free parking out front with several spots they share with another business.Once inside you can see why they call this place The Parsippany Deli/ Emerald Gifts aka The Irish Deli.As soon as you walk in the front door, they have a glass counter that displays beautiful China from Ireland. They sell teas, marmalade, sausages, bacon, black and white pudding, Irish candies, also Brennan's bread.During the month of March they make and sell homemade Irish Soda Bread.As you make your way to the front counter you will meet owner Eddie, and Avril. They were both very friendly and told me about their business. Posted on the counter is their sandwich and salad menus.The Parsippany deli/Emerald gifts has been in business for 50 years, now I know why. Their prices are reasonable, and everything is homemade. They also do catering.They roast all their own meats like Roast Beef, Turkey Breast, and Baked Virginia Ham. I highly suggest getting a half of a sub. It’s as big as most whole subs.This place doesn’t skimp on their meats, just the opposite.When I got home and opened up my sub I was pleasantly surprised, and couldn’t believe how much meat was on it. It was probably one of the best Italian subs I’ve ever had and I’ve been all over for subs.I ordered their Italian Sub - Ham, Salami, Capocollo they call it Hot Ham, and Cheese. I got mine with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mayo, oil and vinegar. It was really delicious. I wound up eating a half of a half and saved the rest for later.My bf ordered their Roast Beef n American Cheese Sub. The Roast Beef was cooked perfectly rare and piled on the sandwich with lettuce, tomato, oil and vinegar. He enjoyed it so much he ate the entire thing.I also ordered 2 of their homemade salads. Macaroni and Potato Salad. The macaroni was my favorite. It was rich and creamy.I highly recommend this place, you won’t be disappointed

“Listen I've tried pizza all over NJ this place absolutely hits different.. Not a thin pizza or a regular its a SQUARE pizza but do NOT get this confused with a Sicilian. Everything is made to order!!! We got a Chicken parm pizza with vodka sauce well done.... They told us 25 mins. Went to pick it up and was chatting with someone who seemed to be the owner. (Didn't ask) I said this is our first time ordering from you, she said your going to love this pizza. She then said I'm sorry it's taking so long with the ricotta... My mind intrigued I said for what, she said, going in the vodka sauce..... I wish I had a picture, but we absolutely destroyed it. Huge chunks of chicken cutlets as well! I recommend not to walk or stroll but RUN to get this pizza! Highly recommend and definitely didn't disappoint I will be back. Also got a list of their specials, which change weekly/biweekly as I was informed.“

“Oh man… where to start. The service was phenomenal, great recommendations, great atmosphere, the owner, Ms. Dana greeted us with a smile, Nikki the manager was great to deal with. Now the food… I had the special, “The Gobbler” and it was unbelievably tasty. The crunch from the toasted bread, the flavors all together were a symphony on my taste palette. My gf got the “Toni Ann” and she couldn’t talk while we were eating together because she wouldn’t stop stuffing her face. After she said the chicken cutlet was cooked perfect, mozzarella was fresh, peppers were exquisite. Overall experience was just mind-blowing. I’d recommend Ferraro’s to any person, local or travelers, you NEED to stop and eat here.“

“So I have driven by this place for way too long without ever stopping in or looking into it further. So tonight we're going to friends house to have a group Christmas cookie bake. And I said You know what why don't we try bringing Polish food, as my wife is Polish and she considered trying to make pierogi as part of the Christmas cookie bake.

So I ordered four dozen pierogi of different flavors, kielbasa and onions, and stuffed cabbage. I went over to pick everything up this morning and I walked in and it was like a Polish heaven. Imagine a deli, many grocery store, and bakery all combined. They had my order ready they brought it out and the customers had to help me understand what they were talking about because they were all talking and Polish!! So you can't get any more authentic than that.

Upon coming home I was getting things ready, and figured before I brought it to my friend's house I just had to try a few things, which meant try one of everything. Well the kielbasa is probably some of the best kielbasa I've ever had in my entire life. The blueberry pierogi was a new experience and was absolutely delicious... The other pierogies were amazing, and the stuffed cabbage was absolutely delicious.

If you go into the listing on Google and just scroll down you'll see the menu in both Polish and English. Portion sizes are huge, their daily specials look absolutely amazing.

Since ordering from there earlier in the week I was mentioning it to a few people and two other people said that they have been going there for years and the food is amazing.

So don't be like me that drives past it forever before trying it. Go there order lots, and enjoy some fantastic Polish food!!“

The cutlet is breaded and surrounded by a downright tasty combination of seasoning and fried to golden brown perfection in such a fashion that your taste buds will be forever mystified, just as mine have been for about a year or so now since I discovered this gem while traveling down US-46 on essential business. Everything I have had from here is so delicious. Go there as soon as you can because it’s really really good.“

“Working at a house in the area and this place was 8 minutes from the jobsite. It's a bit expensive but saves you from running down the mountain so you're paying for convenience. Tried the taylor ham, egg and cheese. It was prepared well and the roll was super soft. Was it New Jerseys best? Definitely not, but overall it was decent. Co-worker got a sandwich off the board, believe it was the Susie. Once again, not blowing your socks off, but still decent. Definitely at the top end of deli pricing but an ok spot to grab a bite. Service was slow but we didn't call in and it seemed like they were a bit busy. Staff was polite.“

“I was traveling in Morristown and was looking for a spot to eat. I settled on this place because it was close to where I was going. Instantly I was greeted by the staff and felt a warm welcome. I asked what they would recommend to eat and I was told everything on the menu was amazing. I felt like every place says that but I brought chicken wrap, butter chicken rice bowl and the paneer because I couldn’t choose what I wanted. I took one bite of that wrap and fell in love. I tasted a bit of everything and it was simply amazing. I even brought the leftovers home and the next day it was still delicious.Im planning to come again. If it wasn’t so far I’d come everyday. “My family frequently orders breakfast delivery from Oscars. Their food is delicious with generous portions and delivery is always quick. Our favorites are the French toast, omelettes and Taylor ham cheese and egg sandwich. Their French toast is especially yummy. Better than any other breakfast place I’ve tried. I’ve also ordered lunch, and our favorites are the chicken fingers and turkey burger. The chicken fingers are large and juicy. Their wings are also good.“

The person who served me was kind & friendly. I had the picadillo with white rice, sweet plantains, a fried yuca fritter, & a side of beans. It all was very tasty, with the exception of the fritter. My only qualm was the pricing for what I ordered. It came to $29, including 2 bags of cheese doodles.Would I go back... Yes. Everything looked vibrant & fresh... I wanted to try EVERYTHING.“

“It’s an excellent Russian food store with a lot of a la cart food options (they cook it for you so you don’t have to ?). We have been their customers for over 6 years. This store carries quite a variety of Eastern European food staples: pretty much everything from herring, kefir, deli meats to any sweet treat, jam and tea imaginable. I love their ice cream selection, my reward for driving to Livingston ?. My parents love fresh pirozhki and chebureki.
Olga and Elena, the store owners are very cordial and helpful. We always come back for more treats, especially Napoleon cake ?“

“Best little hometown deli! If you need a quick breakfast sandwich lunch or snack this is the place to stop in while getting your gas tank filled at the BP next door! Can’t beat their prices for the quality and portion of food you receive. They are very friendly when you walk in and always remember you when you return! They’re a small mom and pop deli that should most definitely be patroned. A favorite of ours is the bacon egg and cheese sandwich for breakfast. School kids also love this deli as they all stop in after school for a mid afternoon snack and sometimes morning breakfast. A fantastic on the go breakfast/lunch/snack/coffee/drink to go! I realized over the years that this is by far the best sloppy joe sandwich anywhere in north New Jersey. I now live in the greater Philadelphia area, and still bring a cooler with me when I travel to the Madison area to bring a few of these sandwiches back with me to enjoy. So happy to see they are still in business, glad that some good things never change!“
